Neat historic eatery. We had the "Hot Brown" which is a Kentucky food icon. All of the food we had seemed to be very fresh and not off a standard restaurant food delivery box truck. They have lots of shakes and cheese cakes too. Additionally there is a historic tavern attached to it with a full whiskey bar and a museum upstairs. Well worth the hour it took us to get here.

Very disappointing, overpriced for what you get. My husband ordered a sandwich which was supposed to come with a side. Apparently since he also ordered one of their salads in a half portion, they decided he didn't want the included side, and then argued with us when we complained, saying we weren't charged for the side. But we paid full price for both the sandwich and the half salad without receiving what the menu said was included. And his sandwich was $9.49 for two pieces of bread with very little turkey, bacon and cheese on it, and of course no side. Barely worth half the price. My full salad, priced at $9.49 as opposed to $5.35 for the half, was only 2-4 bites bigger than the half salad and had very small portions of the ham, salami, and turkey thay came with it. Very disappointing for the price and really not enough for a meal. I was still hungry so ordered a cup of soup, and was charged for a bowl, $6. They reluctantly agreed to credit back the price difference of $2.75, but my total bill went down by less than $2? With the totally rude argument at the cash register due to our complaint about not getting the side with the $9.49 sandwich and the overcharge, I would NEVER go back there again. A highly unpleasant experience.

Longhunters recently hosted a private dinner for 40. Food was good, service was great, decor is very nice but make sure you ask if there is a room rental fee. I paid in advance for the dinner and never was a room rental fee mentioned, nor was it on the website. It was however on the invoice so make sure you ask if there is a fee for the room so you are not surprised. The owner was very nice to return calls and great to work with. I chose to give the servers their gratuities in person and thanked them in advance to the dinner for what I knew would be good service. The plated caesar salad we had prior to dinner were room temperature. Probably due to the time they set waiting on all of us to be seated. All in all it was a good experience.

We were looking for a place to grab brunch before heading back home up north and saw this beautiful little coffee shop and noticed they had a brunch buffet. From the moment we set foot in there, we knew we picked the right place. The food options were kept to a minimum, showing that they really cared about each dish they provided. The scrambled eggs were among the best I've had from any restaurant and I've traveled quite a bit in my time. The hostess was the pinnacle of southern hospitality and made sure we were right at home. The decor of the place was very beautiful and gave the place a lived in look. They had some beautiful jewelry for sale that was too good of a price to pass up. We may have eaten more than we're should have, but when we rolled out of there, we were quite content. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Long wait times to be waited on and receive food, due to staff shortage. After finally receiving our food, our friends got half an English muffin sandwich for almost $7, way too much money for what they got, and they didn't even get the other half of the English muffin. I had almost finished my stuffed French toast, and found a black crusty thing with a hair on it, I brought it to the servers attention and she took my plate. We then went up to pay and I asked her if she figured out what was in my food, she said "it wasn't a bug", I said yea, it was a hair! And they charged me full price for my hairy food. Very disappointed, will NOT return or recommend.

Wow! All I can say is WOW! Went for Sunday brunch and everything was over the top great. I could live off of the scrambled eggs and green beans, and the brisket was beyond fork tender. Super friendly owners and staff all pulled together in an ultra clean and comfortable dining experience. We drove an hour to get here and cannot wait to go back again.

This place is adorable. It's got a great set up it's a very cute rustic little place. However the customer service wasn't very well. And the food was terrible quality. I ordered the stuffed french toast with cream cheese and strawberries in the center. It would have been really good if the cream cheese was sweetened but it wasn't so it made it bitter like. My husband got the gravy which was of pour quality. I should have just stayed home and could have made a way better breakfast instead of spending $30 on food that wasn't enjoyable. My husband also got a latte that wasn't even hot. She blamed it on the machine. But I've made lattes before and it's from not steaming the milk enough. If your going for a coffee and to chat it seems like a great spot to meet up. But if your going to eat... I won't be back. If I worked there I'd definitely make that place stand out! The waitress couldn't even tell me what was a popular drink. She didn't speak much and when I asked her about the menu she couldn't tell me much. That place could really be something if someone actually put the effort in it like they did the decorations. Good luck.

Service used to be great a few years ago. Now the portions are smaller and price is higher. It doesn’t take 40 minutes to make one sandwich when there are only three tables to be served. I had to go to the counter to get my coffee as creamer as they forgot in the midst of the convo they were having standing behind the counter. They’re slow and overall don’t know how to function with only a few tables to serve. I’d hate to see the place full. Not at all like it used to be.

Came here from out of town on a Sunday. Had their Sunday brunch, the food was really good and it was all can eat, so the value was good as well. It surprised me, cause usually small towns like this don't typically have such nice restaurants. So I definitely recommend this place, it's worth going out of your way for.

Having been at Longhunter once before and really enjoying it, we were back in the area and had to revisit. It was just as good as the first time. They offer breakfast, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and more. That may not sound outstanding but, what they do, they do very well. Nothing ordinary here. Everything is top-notch, with every offering having its own personal touch; nicely cutomized. Atmosphere is very comfortable; very quaint and nostalgic to a bygone and better era. There's not much in the way of competition around the area so, to me, this is a real hit.

Great food and very warm environment.Only issues are not very much room to move around. It needs more space for tables and people. And last is the lack of staff. They seem very busy and are a little behind on food and drinks. Very busy place just doesn't have the staff to keep everyone satisfied. All in all very good food plenty of it and super awesome place to eat and chill with friends and family.

Great coffee! Skip the BLT, they microwave the bacon and wrap the sandwich in foil so everything is a soggy mess!

While in Greensburg for a meeting, I searched Google Maps and found this gem of a restaurant. I enjoyed the Thomas K. Slaughter, their version of the Reuben Sandwich. The mini history lesson alongside the menu items was very unique and refreshing. Thanks for the experience!

SMELLS LIKE A GREASY SPOON!!The restaurant is nice, but our friends and family refuse to eat there until they install proper ventilation. There are quite literally dozens of people in the community who refuse to eat there or to have events there because of the smell.Be warned, your clothes will ABSOLUTELY STINK when you leave. We have to take our clothes off the second we get home and throw them in the washing machine, and head straight to the shower. Again, nice place and good food, but stinks like a greasy spoon!! It has smelt this way since the first day they opened. Bill Landrum needs to put in new vents and HVAC carbon filters. So many more customers would come in for lunch of they would address the smell. People hate having to go back to work after lunch smelling like grease.

The Sunday brunch used to be wonderful. Food off the menu was horrible, small , and overpriced. 45 minutes for a microwave burrito and an omelet you would expect from a 10 year old

Quaint little coffee shop/restaurant. Great atmosphere and decor. The food is amazing. Ordered the Nathaniel Greene sandwich with a side of pasta salad. It was very tasty and of great quality.

The Sunday brunch buffet is always top notch. They have a great presentation of the it's on the buffet and the servers are always available to refresh drinks. Longhunters has a great environment for a meal with your family or with a group. They serve good coffee, but don't have an espresso machine, I think their drinks are from mixes. Their loose leaf tea is great.

A unique dining experience, with friendly service and delicious food. Regional favorites named after local historical icons make for an enjoyable meal in a very relaxed, very cozy, & absolutely gorgeous environment. Longhunter's is a must-visit.

Google Maps said hours were 6am open. The sign on the door said 10.lolOwner showed up said sorry and locked the door behind herself on the way in, after I told her of the mistaken hours and my driving 40 minutes.Wasn't very happy. I'd have gladly paid double had she just made a fresh pot and showed a little Southern Hospitality.

Drove 40 miles to get coffee on a Sunday morning and they were closed. Google said they were open. So the owner comes while I'm sitting outside and I inform her of their mistake. She says sorry and walks in and locks the door behind her. How difficult would it have been to make coffee a little early for me? Not happy at all...
