Store is clean and well stocked, probably better than any other dollar general's I have stopped at, BUT, customer service needs some help. There is a couple in there that seem to go above and beyond, where as others just don't give a hoot. A couple days ago, I was in there, had been in line to check out for 10-15 minutes already, still had 7 customers in front of me, three behind me, and we were backed all the way down the medicine aisle. One cashier, who was doing his best. The manager on shift tells him, "I'm going to the back, come get me if you need me" He needed you right then sir. An older lady, (who was third in line, in the line of 11 of us waiting to check out) spoke up and politely said "you may need to open a second register..." In which he came back "I'm busy, I have a manager on vacation and I have an hour and a half worth of work to do in the back" and proceeded to walk off. It got under my skin, not just because of the disrespect, but obviously customers do not come first, although they are the only reason this man has job security. Obviously he could care less if his co-worker and other employees were struggling. It wouldnt have taken but 10, maybe 15 minutes at the most to clear the line out if he had opened another register. And wouldn't you know, not even five minutes later, the young man, who was already struggling and working so hard to get us through the register, had to stop and go back and get him to fix something. I only give this place three stars because the young man working that day went above and beyond to work as efficiently as possible, and still remain respectful and courteous, even when some of the people in front of me were snippy with him for having to wait so long and being upset with the situation, and because I have had other times here where other staff members were amazing.

Great store and has what we need but really needs to work on their customer service. Customer service should be professional at all times with ALL people and professional with all types of ethnicities. Be nice to everyone and treat everyone equally. Frenchburg is full of wonder people and partiality because of ones different race is not what a community should experience.

The store has good buys, but only if you can find them. The shelves are spilling over with excessive stock. You can't really see what they have available.

The first time I went in staff and everyone were wearing masks but this last time nobody was wearing masks so that's the last time for that store for me. Don't post signs requiring masks and ignore it covid-19 is running rampant because of ignorance.

I had to have antifreeze, car got hot, but I also had pay $10.50 for a gallon of it, that's a lil high price, always goes up in winter, why? Cause we need it?!!
