Dirtiest Dollar General in Franklin Ky! This garbage can has been sitting there for days. They never have enough staff, so nothing is ever cleaned or stocked. Good remodel Dollar General! Next time try hiring and cleaning instead!

I feel sorry for management of this location who has to deal with obnoxious employees.... S**** M*****, is one. This employee, who requested for me to wait till she got finished folding shirts in the middle of the isle walkway when I needed her services to get a fan down from the top shelf, that couldn't be reached, needs an attitude adjustment. After waiting on her to get up, she didn't get the fan down but took me to the stock room to get one. It was here that there were several choices of fans to buy. After trying to decide, out of at least 6 choices, she became agitated and with me an loudly commented.. OMG, and walked out of the stock area leaving me to get a fan, which I had to climb to get. REALLY... REALLY. DO YOU PEOPLE HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED, OR I COULD'VE PRETENDED TO HAPPEN, but I'm not that person, IN YOUR STORE. DO YOU EVEN SCREEN EMPLOYEES YOU HIRE? I WAS DISSATISFIED WITH MY PURCHASE BUT WONT TAKE IT BACK CAUSE IM SCARED TO GO TO YOUR STORE. SHAME ON YOU. THIS STORE IS A MESS. IF YOU CANT HANDLE 1 DANG STORE, STOP PUTTING THEM EVERY 5 MILES IN EVERY DIRECTION. SHAME ON YOU .

I don't know who the management is there but this store is terrible they are closed 2 or 3 days out of the week with computer being down or so the sign in the door says Jennifer is the only one that I see ever working there when it's open! The people in this neighborhood relies on this store for their main shopping and it has been the biggest let down the last 2 months that I've ever seen! The other Dollar General's hasn't had this kind of problem so why is this one? So disappointeing either can't take cards or can't take cash or comcomputer is down..... Why even put forth an effort to go there anymore!!

Just so everyone knows this store has came a long way the team there works very hard to stock, clean, GIVE 110% GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Yes people talk bad about this store cause the way it was ran now the management team and all the D G employees care more then people know you should be glad there is people out there willing to work long hours so you have a clean, stocked and wonderful employees there instead of saying rude stuff on the surveys. Everyone has a bad day once in awhile just give a smile and let that employee know they are doing a awesome job all the dark clouds will pass and give them a SMILE 😁… A kind word and smile never hurt anyone it always makes the world a better place makes the HEART SMILE!

The store is the rudest manager I have ever seen. My sister-in-law came in from another state and I took her to this Dollar General so she could teach me how to coupon. We didn't know the store closes at 9 p.m. at 9:05 p.m. the manager came out of her office, hands on hips, screaming "im not saying here all night," being rude, yelling "what's the problem what's the problem,".... the clerk checking us out tried to excuse her behavior by telling me that she had to be back first thing in the morning. There is no excuse. But apparently the disarray this store has been in, based on the reviews, my complaint to upper management won't matter. But I'm going to do it anyway

Probably dirtiest DG I and my wife have been too. In desperate need of a remodel. People that stock shelves seem to just throw it everywhere... Items on ground everywhere it was just a mess. Front counter associate was loud and using profane language. Very unpleasant experience. Only two stars because they did have the one item I needed.

Could hardly walk through the store. Crammed full and had a suffocating feel. I could not get out fast of enough. Cashier not welcoming at all. Don't blame her. I would not want to work there either.

This Dollar General is cleaner than most. You wouldn't expect that since the outside is shady and ghetto looking.The shelves are surprisingly organized and tidy. This isn't a huge DG, so don't expect a huge selection. If you're looking for the basics and essentials, it's not a bad idea for a quick run. Prices are similar to Walmart's and possibly slightly higher on a few things.But if you're looking for a quick stop and not a lot of stuff, this is a good place to get in and out.

Place could be more organized nice employees seems like they are over worked short staff maybe?? Floors not the cleanest store could be a nightmare for the elderly to walk through parking lot could use a good pressure washing maybe .

Everytime I go in there, there is only one cashier and it's always a long wait in line. Which most of the time puts the poor cashier in a bad mood so they are in a hurry and rushed and unfriendly. But that's not their fault. I worked for dollar general before and they do not allow the managers the hours to staff the store properly and they do not pay the employees or management a fair wage that's why they have a high turn over. That's is why you hardly ever see the same employees when you go into your local store. Unfortunately dollar general had taken over the small towns and left no other options to shop as far as convenience. Unless you want to drive outta your way to hit the Ever so hated Walmart! K mart and Target have just been run out of smaller towns along with small businesses.

Very disappointing.Dirty!Items all over the floor and continue to remain there. ?? Makes no sense to me.Everything is in disarray.The floor is filthyThe parking lot is filthly.There is no excuse.Some of the staff are very nice and helpful .There seems to be a lack of guidance.

So dissappointed in this store it is extremely understaffed. I have had to return products I have bought there because I come home to find they have already been used.On several occasions I have come in and the store is in complete disarray and filth and not a staff person in sight ,waiting to get checked out just to leave because after looking and calling to see if anyone was working no response.I only come here in desperate situations when I don't feel like leaving far from home otherwise I go to the dollar general market because this one is no good

I go in that store at least once or more a day because it's close to my house ,I went in tonight about 7pm I had 3 people in front of me each with no more than 3 items.i kept wondering what was taking so long and found out when it was my turn I had paid with a credit card and after I inserted the card I was waiting on him to do what he needed to do on the register well I kept waiting and waiting and finally I look over and he has his cellphone on the counter texting or whatever he was doing instead of paying attention to his job so I had to tap on the counter to get his attention and ask him do what you need to do and get off your phone so I can pay and get out of here the shelves are almost empty if not empty you cant find anything because the store is a mess so whoever the 2 that were working tonight (dont know their names because they never wear name tags )need to be replaced because it's like that with those same two everytime they work they both stay on their phones instead of doing their jobs RANT OVER P.S. WILL BE CALLING CORPORATE IN THE MORNING

Was upset tried to buy a phone here for someone for Christmas it wouldn't ring up so the young african american girl tried to ring up several phones and it wouldn't ring up and instead of just charging me the price I was asked to buy another phone through a provider the person doesn't even have or to come back at a later date to purchase I use to go here all the time after this after the lack of help, care, or concern I received and the failure to buy a product with a barcode and no resolution I will be reporting this to the main office and the BBB and I will never shop here again

I go there because it's close. It's poorly managed. Dirty disorganized and cluttered. I see people shoplifting every time I go. I feel sorry for the employees honestly. But everyone should step up and make that place right

This is the worst dollar store I've ever been in. 2 young girls laughed and said the A1 sauce that was not on shelf and they had a truck didn't have time n boxes too small to look through. Then I told older lady cashier if two of my items on sale don't ring them she did anyway and then her personal cell phone rang she answered it started talking on it while I was standing there trying to get checked out n go home. My opinion this Dollar General should CLOSE!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the worst DG I've ever been to. They supposedly just remodeled it, but it's still a wreck. There are carts and all kinds of junk in the aisles and nothing is in the right spot. Constant disarray and the dock is also littered with garbage.

Convenient on the north side of town, but not well maintained. The parking lot generally has trash scattered all over, and the interior is in need of updating. Points for convenience, but not cleanliness or organization.

This Store is in Such a Mess, Dirty and Product in the Aisle, I use to Work at the DG Corp Main Office and I would Fire whoever is the District or Regional Manager of this Store, this Store would Gain so Much Traffic and Money if this was changed to a DGX Store would be perfect for 2017 since its DG Main goals for 2017 is the DGX Brands Awesome Idea

Love this store and there manager Sheila keeps it in order. Before I didn't like going in the store it was cluttered and the staff was rude but Sheila turned it around.

This store is not clean. Trip hazards are found in just about every aisle. Short staffing I'm sure contributes to this. They remodeled recently, but it's back to a mess again.

Clean store with excellent customer service, which is new. Not sure if there has been a change in management or what, but it has improved the store significantly.
