The staff was lovely, and were great at getting my rambunctious dogs taken care of.The nurse (I'm sorry; I don't remember her name) was very kind and answered all my questions to put my mind at ease.Also, they are cheaper than any other for profit pet clinic I could find in Louisville. (Or surrounding area.)Couldn't recommend more!

I had to take my grand-mouse for an emergency appointment. I was blown away with their compassion and care. Dr Gregory and the tech were so sweet. Every thing is clean and orderly, there wasn’t a wait for the appointment. I don’t live in Finchville but I am considering making the drive from Louisville for my own pet.

I have used Finchville for my dogs and cats for 5 years. I came for the prices but stayed for the service. I never feel rushed or like a number. Front staff greets warmly and Dr. Gregory and Dr. Lane are empathetic, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I will continue to use them as long as I live within an hour of the office.

My usual vet quoted $500 per kitty to get my two girls spayed (I live in Middletown KY) but Finchville Animal Hospital spayed them both for under $450 including the added pain shot and patiently answered all of my first time kitten mama in over 10 years questions that I called them about. And they didn't charge me for a follow up visit when one of my girls had a fluid build up. Love them!

This was our first visit and I was very impressed. We will be switching to them as our regular vet. Very homey atmosphere, very welcoming. Our baby loved everyone immediately and he's usually a little standoffish with strangers but not here!

Dr. Teresa Gregory is a great Vet to our 3 rabbits and ferret. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We now take our 3 dogs and many cats to Finchville, we drive over 35 minutes but worth it for quality Vet care. All the Vets and staff have been great with our animals. Others in my family now go to Finchville as well.

Whether you have a regular pet or an exotic (rats, bunnies, etc.) Dr. Gregory is awesome! She's been caring for my furkids for over a decade. The rest of the staff is great too. Techs are knowledgeable and caring, and, along with the front-end staff, are open to any and all questions. The prices are very reasonable, even for the exotics. 💜

Disappointed. Gave my dog a shot for him licking the arms of the couch and the seat. Plus licking his legs and feet. Was told that it will take effect immediately. Not. Has not stopped. Please cancel my appointment this month.

GREAT staff. I brought them a bunny I bought from Rural King (horrible place too) to seek care after we had one pass away that morning. They gave great care and concern for the little guy and even got him to perk up for a little bit and got meds and food for him. They were just as upset if not more than I was due to the condition of the bunny and the fact it seemed to be taken from its mom and sold at maybe 2-3 weeks old.Highly recommend this place and I will def be taking my next bunny (which will come from a breeder) to them and any future pets as well.Thank you all!!!!!!!

I have been taking my 5 cats and dog here for years, and really like Dr. Rexroad! We always have a friendly welcome coming in, and you can just tell they love their little patients! Even with my crazy kitty who hates the vet visits, they still manage to see her and get her in and out quick. Thanks for all you do Finchville!

I’ve had occasion to visit this veterinary clinic over the years as a volunteer with greyhound adoption but never with one of my own. Dr. Rexroad and staff were wonderful to my Carrie and me when we went in for a second opinion. We were given reassurance after a thorough exam, plus literature to reinforce the clean bill of health. I wish we were closer but we will continue to visit for all major areas of concern or any surgeries on my greyhounds. Lovely clinic, also.

Used to recommend this vet to everyone. However , my confidence in them has dwindled since it's hard to get a same day or even next day appt when your pet is seriously sick. For routine , sure they are good. Your pet gets sick and needs to be seen - they say screw you!My dog was very sick and they couldn't my dog me for a week (thanks)Ended up taking her to shively animal clinic but the medicine they gave wasn't helping and I knew it was time to end her suffering. Again called Finchville to see about getting a Euthanasia appt and got no help.Ended up taking her back to shively animal hospital and the drive took so much out of her that she died as I carried her in to their office.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the vet here. this place is only about 6 minutes away from my house so it's super convenient to take my dog and cat there.This review is solely based on the fact that upon entering the clinic the cleaning chemicals they use smell so strong I leave with a headache, and my clothes smelling of the fragrance from the cleaners. I mentioned it to the vet assistant during my last visit, and asked her to mention it to the vet when she had time. I told her that other people might notice it and it might give other people headaches too but they may never say anything.At the next visit I asked the same girl if she ever mentioned anything to the vet about the cleaners and she said she did but she didn't remember what she said. I should have talked to the vet myself about it but just forgot to mention it. Unfortunately I'm going to have to move to another vet because of this.Like I said I've loved the staff and the vet here so this review isn't about any of them, just about my experience inside the building. Hopefully they will one day consider natural cleaners and/or fragrance free cleaners!
