We have used Camp Nightingale for 2 different dogs and they were both happy to return. Well cared for! The last time we pulled into the drive with our little dog, he went crazy happy! He practically jumped out of our arms and into theirs! I always feel confident that he will be well taken care of.

Over the past 13 years we have used Camp Nightengale for our home away from home for our dogs, we started with 2 dogs and then we had 4 pups to take the number up to 6 in the second year. We dropped our little family off there for an average of 8-10 times a year. We would be on the road, sometimes for 7-8 days, and we knew if there was any problem, we would get a call from Sarah.Sarah has a friendly staff that really loves the animals they take care of.....I read the 2 really bad reviews, and I'm sorry I don't believe them. Sarah and her husband are great people and I would never hesitate to recommend the Kennel or the Vet's office to any of my family members or friends.

Our dogs love going to see Sarah and her staff at Camp Nightengale. So glad we found a place that knows how to care for animals, unlike other kennels where our dogs have come home with injuries or illnesses.

Do NOT leave your pet at Camp Nightengale. My dog was boarded there for 9-10 days over the holidays Dec 2017-Jan 2018. I picked up my pet on Jan 2nd. Owner was very rude and condescending and indicated that my dog was no longer welcome there. Owner claims my dog allegedly chewed on a dog door?? Upon picking up my dog I immediately noticed he was filthy and could not keep his right eye open. I took him to a veterinarian and was told that he would require a very expensive eye surgery to save his eye. During his stay, he developed a very deep ulcer on his right eye. So less than 3 days after he was picked up he had eye surgery. I informed the veterinarian/owner and was offered no compensation. Not even an apology. They tried to claim the injury happened after I picked him up. They essentially denied any wrong doing/responsibility despite being told by two separate veterinarians - 1 a specialist, that due to the severity of the eye injury - it had to have occurred DURING his stay at camp nightengale. It is highly likely that my dog was in a significant amount of pain for several days prior to me picking him and no one noticed - which tells me that the staff was not paying attention to the animals left in their care. To date Camp Nightengale has not taken any responsibility for the injuries that my dog incurred during his stay or acknowledged the obvious neglect at their facility. And this is facilty that advertises having a veterinarian on site. In addition to my $250+ kennel bill I’ve paid almost $700 in vet bills and the injury will require 4-8 wks to heal. Find another kennel.

Tried to get cremation services for pet cat, have used these services for 3 other cats, but was told crematory had broken and would not be repaired, that the service would no longer be available. Was very disappointed as the past 3 services were done so well with beautiful carved wooden boxes for the cremains.

During restorarion after a house fire calamity our 4 fur babies needed long term TLC and normalcy. Ms. Sarah and her crew didn't just kennel our pets in an amazingly dog-friendly environment, they cared for them. Our dogs could have come back to us frazzled and anxious after such a lengthy stay in a kennel. Instead, they came back healthy, happy and relaxed. Thank you so much, Ms. Sarah - for everything!

I boarded my two Danes for a week. When I went to pick them up they were happy to see me. The staff was nice and I took some extra food I had prepared for them to mix with dry and they gave it to them when they ate. Cost was reasonable

We were suprised when we were checking in and they required a ss#. Very unsettling. There reason was in case we bounced a check. We decided that we wouldn't be using their services again after we picked up our dogs and paid cash, at which point we asked to have my ss# returned. They refused to return it. A business owner who could care less about how their customers feel about their practices. Just a warning...I'd hate to think what they would do if your pets were harmed in their care.
