I've been saying this a lot lately it seems but it's a bit more expensive (inflation has hit everywhere) then I think it should be. The food is tasty and service is friendly. The size of their milkshakes is rather small for the price (again inflation), location is convenient for usKid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed. Just be careful. The parking area is small and located right next to the road

Stopped on the way out of town from Mammoth Cave. We waited so long at the walk-up window that we thought it was closed. We ended up getting four dipped cones and a snow cone. The ice cream in the dipped cones was almost as hard as regular ice cream and all of the cones were so stale, we thought we were eating the napkins wrapped around the cones. We were not.

We LOVE Berties!! You can always guarantee that you'll greeted with a friendly smile. There is a 10-15 min wait, but we'll worth it, because the food is made after you order and comes fresh and hot!! Highly recommended ❤

Employees were very friendly and the food was good. A very extensive menu for typical "cooked to order" fast food fare...plus some other well known specialties not at typical chain fast foods...ribeye sandwiches, barbecue sandwiches...also some delicious vanilla soft serve ice cream. It's definetly an order and go place as there is no inside dining. The weather was perfect for enjoying the covered picnic tables located on property just behind the business. I'll eat there again whenever in town.

Probably the best 'fast food' burger joint in Brownsville. If you want to go to the other fast burger joint, go here instead. It's quick, to the point, and tasty. Not sit down food, but definitely "sitting in my car watching the river go by and munching" food.

My family and I were leaving Mammoth Cave National park in Kentucky and we were looking for a snack on our way to St. Louis, Mo. Great little ice cream stand that also has some food offerings (Burgers, Hot Dogs, Corndogs, etc...). Really hit the spot after several hours of hiking at the park.

This place has been here every since I was in Middle School across the road from the old Tandy McIntyre Bldg. This was the first time, I'd been back since I left 30 some years ago. They had the best double cheeseburger around. Also, the upside-down banana splits in a cup (big white Styrofoam cup not the little ones). I'm talkin' 32 ozes of heavenly bliss. Then there is the Brown Derby. This is a frozen soft serve vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate then frozen. Oh my goodness, your head will spin off. No where else have I found these.

I've been going to Berties since I was a young child and I've never once had bad food or service. It's by far the best place to eat in Edmonson County. The ice cream is unbelievably good!!

Best kept secret in Ky! Very busy but great food and the nicest staff you will ever meet. If visiting Mammoth Cave it's well worth the drive in to Brownsville Ky.

The burgers are made when you order them. Not sitting under a heat lamp. Excellent flavor! The soft serve ice cream is good and they make them big :-)

Great place for a break when cruising through Brownsville. My father and I stopped while riding motorcycles from Mammoth Cave Park. We got a couple of milkshakes and sat on the picnic table to enjoy them.

I have going to berties all my life and loving their food but in the last year or so I've noticed smaller portions and the quality of food had went down I don't go as often anymore

I always love to go here to eat after a day of long fishing from the rivers. Always a must to visit and have a nice break really yummy food!
