Just placed my first order with Trinh Fish & Corals yesterday and it arrived today. This is the BEST place to order fish, online, hands down. All fish and inverts came in nice and healthy. The communication from them was absolutely top notch. Will definitely be ordering from them again!!! Thank you Trinh Fish & Corals!

WARNING:Proceed with caution when dealing with the customer service provided here. After reaching out to inquire about the availability and prices of various fish, including a Queen Angel. I received a video of a Queen Angel which was not listed on their website, which they claimed to have had for nine months. I expressed I was driving at the time was very interested in the fish and would watch the video when I arrived home at my residence. Despite expressing my keen interest in the fish, when contacting them the next day in reference to shipping and price I was informed the fish was no longer available as they had found a buyer overnight. This abrupt turn of events, particularly over a weekend, "Saturday and Sunday" without prior communication about another potential buyer, raised suspicion. Moreover, I was blocked from their Facebook page before I could leave a review. Such treatment of a potential customer is unacceptable and profoundly disappointing. Navigating this hobby is costly as it is, and encountering subpar customer service only exacerbates the expenses.

Me and my husband ordered a fish on their facebook page that they advertised for sale. They said sold and gave us the shipping details and asked us when we wanted it delivered. After it was confirmed we wanted it and said they would ship it to us they changed their mind . Said well we decided to keep it after all. Very heart breaking news as it was an orange lipped clown trigger one of my favorite species of fish. It was a VERY PARTICULAR fish with quality details like one of a kind. They said they would give us a different one which was bigger but not one of a kind and offered no pictures to show what it looked like they said they had none. They broke our deal. They offered zero remorse , poor communication and no consideration and didnt have pictures of the fish they said they’d send otherwise. Very poor customer service and zero empathy. They made laughing emojis after I stated they operated with poor communication skills and pulled the fish back after they said it was sold to us. Bad business and poor behavior. Would not recommend them ever. We are huge aquarists and so disappointed to have dealt with this sad Organization. Buyer beware! Don’t be scammed! Very immature behavior on their behalf.

The whole Trinh family is a pleasure to be around. I have spent hours in the store and have always felt welcome. Leon and Leo have tons of knowledge when it comes to all of your saltwater needs. I am more than pleased each time I visit Trinh’s pharmacy. The entire family makes you feel welcome and are always extremely courteous and attentive. I love the individualized care Mr. Trinh provides and he always goes out of his way to accommodate whatever the need. I’m truly grateful I switched to their pharmacy. It brings me much happiness every time I enter the store. The fish and coral selection is an additional burst of life and color for the store and the atmosphere is second to none. I call this fish “Masterpiece” because I’ve never seen anything like him; I’ve never been to this store in person, but I can promise you they know what they’re doing. Anybody worth their salt in this hobby knows that a mandarin dragonet is an impossible fish to keep even in large aquariums, the owner of this store has two of them in a three gallon aquarium and isn’t shy about it because he knows his fish are worth their weight in gold; these captive bred mandarins are the real McCoy, I live in Cincinnati over three hours away from this store and a friend of mine made the roughly 6-7 hour round trip drive to pick up two mandarins for us at $90 each (absolute steal), both were about the size of our index fingernails at the time we got them and they’ve ballooned up since. This store took the time to send pictures and videos of our baby fish after we’d reserved them but before we’d picked them up, and they seem legitimately invested in the well-being of these complicated animals even after they’ve been sold. I cannot recommend them highly enough if you’re looking for someone who is equally invested in the hobby and wants to see you and your aqua pets succeed.*mandarin dragonets do take extra care in smaller aquariums, the captive bred mandarins supplied by this store are incredibly easy to care for if you’re an experienced reefer, but if you aren’t ready to pay attention to a fish on a near daily basis, please skip this species altogether, Trinh’s are the best in the business but it doesn’t mean you can neglect your highly sensitive fish!

worst experience ordering a fish from an online vendor and WILL NEVER order from these huksters again. First the shipped the package late so I didn't get it till two days later leaving the poor fish to bake in the UPS facilities; 2) the fish wasn't even the fish i ordered. I ordered a small tang that came in every bit ofa medium to large...owner tried to tell me to deal with it, it came alive and that fish grow. terrible experience and i do not recommend to anybody. Also there order to procurement system is all red flags...basically you order then someone reaches out about shipping - archaic system

This is an amazing family owned business. I was recommended them from a group on Facebook. I have purchased quite a few fish now from them and I continue to be extremely satisfied. They are very responsive and like to form a close relationship with any buyer. I live in Central, Illinois so everything I buy has been shipped; impeccably if I may say so! I have not been to their store personally but I hope to make a trip in the spring.Fish are packed extremely well. I ask for pics or videos of the fish I may be purchasing and they are quick to fulfill that. I think it's incredibly important to know what you are buying and for the sellers to be honest. They have always confirmed with me whether a fish was eating or not, and what it was eating. Every time, I got the fish acclimated, that was my first go-to offered food and sure enough, the fish accepted. These people often show they care very deeply for their customers and fish. They are always responding to messages well after closing hours. Their fish have always arrived healthy for me.
