We have 4 animals we take to Southcentral. (2 dogs & 2 cats) We have seen Dr. Grimes, Dr. Poole & Dr. Thomas. They have each been wonderful to work with. Each exam has been thorough and concise. We are always greeted by the friendliest front office staff and all of the Vet Techs are fabulous too. When we have an urgent issue or concern Southcentral is always prompt with their response and fits us into the schedule asap. Thankful to have found a vet that we trust to keep our fur babies happy and healthy.

We love SVS! Chipper loves going to the vet and seeing all the friendly faces from the office staff, techs, and Dr. Grimes! We brought chipper to SVS when he was a puppy and had Parvo. They took the very best care of our boy for about a week and a half, and here he is now as a 1 year old and very happy and healthy! Dr. Grimes takes the best care of our boy!

I have gone here for years and have always been happy with the care of my pets. They really care and do everything they can to take care of animals. They are also kind and friendly. They stood by our side through one of the hardest times of our lives when my heart dog passed away and also have been through happy times with new pets. We drive an hour away just to get vet care here and I will continue to do so. I do not trust other Veterinarians with my animals! Thank you Dr. Grimes for taking great care of my fur babies!

My baby boy Sunny had some kind of accident Tuesday night late. Pretty sure he got popped by his sister. His poor eye was swollen and bothering him so bad!! Called my vet Wed morning and kinda told them what happened and let them know his eye was red and swollen. They just pretty much blew me off and said they had an appt at 2 if I wanted it, UGH!! Seriously, these are our children, by choice, and my good friend told me to call Southcentral and they were like can you bring him on in and I'm like of course!! Everyone I had any contact with at all was so friendly and helpful!! Not used to that at my old vet, yes had them transfer all 3 of our furbabies and cancel that stupid 2 appt too!!! Love love love Southcentral!!! They are hands down the friendliest vet I've EVER been too!! Highly recommend this place if you truly love your furbabies!!!

We had wonderful visits at Southcentral Veterinary. They took great care of our dog Tramp. She had surgery on her leg , and got the best of care. The whole staff there is so friendly and caring. Would recommend them to everyone.

My 81/2 year old female Rottweiler was urinating frequently and in the house, not like her at all. We thought it was a urinary tract infection and after seeing Dr. Poole she has been diagnosed with diabetes. The doctor and staff explained everything that was going on in detail and answered questions we have had. My Rottweiler is doing 100% better since the first visit and I can’t be thankful enough. I highly recommend this practice.

A huge shoutout to Dr. Grimes, Dr. Thomas and all the staff at Southcentral Veterinary Services. Our Yellow Lab, Lucky was hit by a vehicle last week and we were so scared for his life. All the people at SVS were ready to go to work as soon as we arrived. They met us outside the emergency door to carry him in and start a thorough evaluation to see what the prognosis was. Everyone was so concerned and compassionate during the entire ordeal (especially Amy). Fortunately, his injuries were not as bad as first thought and they treated him for a dislocated elbow and some cuts and abrasions. Lucky spent 2 nights at SVS and the staff gave us daily updates and allowed us to visit him. Thanks again to SVS for making a very stressful situation easier to deal with and putting our boy back on the way to good health.

I had to bring my sweet Stella in for an emergency appointment. The staff was very kind and accommodating even though I had never been in before. They treated Stella and myself with kindness and compassion like we’d gone there forever. Dr. Poole was very thorough and showed genuine care for my girl. She is feeling much better thanks to Dr. Poole and the team at Southcentral Veterinary Services. I am very thankful for their hard work and look forward to seeing them in the future for all of Stella’s veterinary needs.

We came here for a routine visit.. Well pretty routine. I took my pet to different vet for surgery because they seemed like they were more equipped to handle surgeries, however, the experience at south central was much better. I can’t remember when I’ve been to a vets office that was so nice and easy to navigate. They really made the process as nice as it could be. You even get to pay privately in your own room so you don’t have to worry about other cats and dogs and humans. 🙏🏼👍 thank you

SVS is hands down the most accessible and compassionate clinic. Dr. Grimes has never been too busy to call and explain what is going on and what our options are. He has been our vet for Lincoln’s entire life and has helped us keep him healthy and happy. Now, as we walk this journey through the final years of life with our fella, Dr. Grimes and his team have been our compassionate companions. We wouldn’t trust our guy to anyone else. And, I would be remiss if I didn’t also acknowledge the many ways SVS gives back to the community. It’s one thing to be a good veterinarian, but when you add to that being a good neighbor, to me, that’s what sets them apart! We love SVS! 💙

We have been a client for 5+ years now. We followed the groomer, Amanda Hendricks, to Southcentral Veterinary and have not regretted it at all. The staff has always been conscientious, courteous and helpful when I've taken them a pet with an issue. I love how the Dr's put the animal at ease by talking and interacting with them before diving right into the appointment. Dr. Grimes actually got into the floor with my pup and was talking to her and petting her. She warmed up to him immediately and the appointment went very well with little or no discomfort to her. Additionally, Dr. Grimes listened to me when I advised I thought she was showing signs of arthritis even though she was only a 3 yr old. He tested and confirmed my suspicions and we discussed options for easing her discomfort. He was also very open about the disadvantages of invasive surgery for her issue. Every experience has been like this and I cannot say enough good things about this practice. The front desk is always courteous and efficient as well as being friendly no matter how much is going on at the time. Lastly, Amanda Hendricks is their groomer. She is fantastic.

I am thankful to have went here. The staff is so friendly. I have worked with 2 vets who were so good with my cat. I really appreciate there's a cat and dog waiting area that is separate. My cat is not dog friendly and this helps to ease her.

I would give more stars if I could. I can’t say enough about Dr. Poole and SCVS. They helped my cat Sylvia when her kidneys started to go bad, weekly fluids, an abscessed tooth, then they were there for her until the end. Thank you so much Dr. Poole for making the right calls for Sylvia.

My vet recently retired after our 25 plus year relationship with HUGE shoes to fill. I had a sick boy without an established vet, and we were able to get an appointment the next day. Exam was thorough and diagnosis accurate. My boy was back in action 24 hours later. Staff is extremely friendly, and the care was great! We have since been back for annual exam. Wrigley saw his favorite vet today, Dr. Hollis! He got shots and overall exam. The clinic is under construction at this time so we can’t go into building for safety. I understand and was expecting to talk with the doctor over the phone. But Dr. Hollis went above and beyond and came out to our car and talked with us. She took her time and did not rush us, she answered all my questions about some concerns with Wrigley. We came up with a game plan! I am very thankful for a caring doctor for my fur baby because he is family! Thank you Dr. Hollis for being patient with him and taking fantastic care of my 93lb baby!

My dog, Rusty was attacked by another dog . I called three different veterinary clinics. South Central Veterinary Clinic was the only one that would take him immediately. Dr. Poole treated him and and she was very impressive. She was very good about explaining the procedures that were being done. Their prices were very reasonable.
