As a private chef, an important aspect of my job is sourcing unique, high-quality foods that are competitively priced and to this end, I'm pleased to report that Gordon Food Services delivers on all counts! 🤗 Though much of the store is definitely geared towards restaurants, caterers and anyone seeking "bulk goods," there's plenty to be had by individuals who are simply looking for excellent food. 💯 Bonus points for the friendly, knowledgeable staff, ample parking (including handicapped) and the impeccable cleanliness standards. (Oh and did I mention that their charcuterie selection is fabulous?) ❤

This is great place to buy meats in bulk for freezing. Some things are a little overpriced, so be sure to compare prices with other stores. I shared this a couple of weeks ago. Was back just today 8/01/23 and found new people working there and it was not a pleasant experience this time. Ask about a item that was on sell and the cashier acted as if she didn't know what I'm talking about and just proceeded to check me out. While I was scanning my card, she walks over to another worker which I presumed was the Mgr and whispered to her what I had ask about. I then had to show her in my phone what was on sell. They weren't very friendly or helpful at all. The company needs to have more training for their team on friendly customer service. There was no hello or thank you from either of them.

Good place to get some bulk items. The bread selection was poor in the latter part of the day. Produce was not large enough for our needs. Overall fine. No one engaged me and said hello. One guy was stocking boxes on the coffee seasoning aisle like he was getting paid to be as slow as he possibly could be. Checked is phone a few times in just a couple minutes. I almost said something to him! But chose not to

This is a good place to buy your food, if your looking for large quantities! It's cheaper to buy ! It's great for buying for a family get together! The employees are very nice n help you find the item your looking for!

They had nothing like the other GFS I been to the only reason I gave it what I did was because of a boy in there who was working he was so nice, friendly and knew where everything was (or wasnt)

Was expecting to price hunt and find some great buys, like I do in Louisville. All of the things I normally buy were more expensive in bgreen GFS. We live in Hart county, so it's a toss up on Wich is closer... But the pricing difference has. Made our minds up. And appears to have done it for others, too.. one other car in lot the entire time we shopped. One. In Louisville, there are rows of cars. Very evident that no one is shopping in bgreen. If all times are as we seen them, then they can't last much longer. Prices per ounce are higher than any other local grocer. Don't believe me? Break items down by ounces, and compare. Though GFS brand is often just as good, it is not all the time, and I don't feel like we should pay name brand prices for non brand food, especially when I have to buy 6 x the amount, just to get Kroger pricing. Go somewhere else, for name brands, for cheaper, for actual help, for a cashier that's not stone, and for help bagging (at this price they should load my car! ), But overall, for better prices. This place is out of line on grocery prices locally. It's sad. I was so hoping it would be better.

The foods there are a good quality. I recently noticed a steady price increase on the big box of Poptarts I would usually buy. Lots of things are a bit pricey, but knowing your numbers and other price comparisons will help you out. Make sure you are watching the cashier during check out because they could double scan items (it happened to us twice). Also, the employees aren't really friendly as they should be.

Great place for bulk items if you are catering or having a big get together. I love that I can get gyro meat here for gyro sandwiches, too. Good prices. Store is organized and clean.

Decent price on choice brisket but the price went up super fast on pork butts. Don't buy butts there now.They also stopped carrying the 3 pack of baby back ribs which I used a lot in my bbq catering business. Have to go to Sams now And get them.Store is clean and help is knowledgeable and curtious.

I shop here at least once a month, is clean well lit and you know most of the regular items will be in stock. I wish the selection was bigger. Ordering is easy and is usually there by the time they tell you.

Great deals on (mostly) restaurant-sized containers of frozen, canned and (some) fresh items. Selection was more than I expected and very reasonable prices. Got in and out quickly, too.
