HEATHER, the young lady at the check out was amazing today. She went above and beyond to take care of me and my plenty of coupons that needed to be applied.Best customer service that I received since a long time.Way to go. We need more retail workers like HEATHER. They are hard to find. I am a manager in Retail, and can't find hard working or passionated worker like HEATHER.Thanks for the great shopping experience 😀 😊WAY TO GO!

Pharmacy is the worst ever. They will hand you other people's meds without checking name on it. Will not transfer scripts to a different pharmacy they keep saying the other pharmacy has to request it. Which they did 3 different times. Still a fight to get everything transferred. Once you leave they will request to fill meds from doc office. When you call they will hang up on you once you call them out. Would love to leave no stars!!!!!!!!

This pharmacy location consistently promotes a poor customer experience. I’ve been to many store locations in other states and have never seen a CVS this bad
Highly recommend switching to Meijer if your insurance allows.

By far the most incompetent and RUDE staff at any pharmacy. Called to check on the status of a NEW prescription that I had never had before. The lady over the phone who spoke broken English kept interrupting me and talking over me, as well as cutting me off mid sentence to put me on hold after I requested to speak to a manager. Could not understand what I was even asking after repeating it multiple times. She kept insisting that there was no one else to talk to yet got someone on the phone who could understand simple requests. Went into the store and a different lady helped me and acted like she didn’t give a damn about the inconvenience and the rude coworker. Will never go to this horrendous place again.

Went to get a refund for an incorrect passport picture only to be lied to by some worker named Barb that they don’t do passports pictures at CVS. Even after showing her my receipt she denied that they took the picture. Then she said their machine was broken. Lazy and incompetent.

Few businesses are either good or bad enough to motivate me to write a review. Most are average. If only that were true for this CVS. If this pharmacy has any goals in place for delivering outstanding service, you should throw them away and shoot for “mediocre.” Because mediocre would be a huge improvement. I just realized I wrote a bad review for this pharmacy three years ago, and nothing has changed. Went there today, and I can report that it remains the worst pharmacy in Bowling Green. Read every bad review they have and multiply it times 10. I assure you every complaint is accurate and warranted. if you need a pharmacy or are looking to work at a pharmacy, do yourself a tremendous favor and go anywhere but here.

This is the best pharmacy in town. The girls that worked last night went above and beyond to help me with my insurance so I could get my medication. They even talked to the insurance people on the phone to get everything straightened out and after a little patience we were able to figure it out and I left with a smile and my medication. I’m forever grateful for the team that took their time to help me with my insurance issue! So kind and helpful and also professional!

The store itself is fine, I have no complaints with it. However the pharmacy is a dreadful experience to say the least. Our normal pharmacy didn’t have my wife’s prescription, so CVS Lovers Lane wound up having it in stock. She transferred it there, and they told her it would be ready for pickup at 2:30. I arrived at about 2:20 and waited in line on the inside for around 15 minutes. The woman working the counter inside was very nice, but told me that it would be about 30 minutes, but it was being worked on. Okay, no major deal (except for my wife had told the pharmacy that we were headed out of town and to call her if it was going to be much later than 2:30). So I waited until about 3 and entered the drive through. At about 3:15, Allison waited on me, when I gave her my wife’s info, she very rudely told me that “she didn’t have a patient under that name”. After I finally got her to ask the pharmacist (which I guess was just horribly difficult for her to do). She informed me that it “was just being typed in” and that it would be another 30 minutes. I asked her why this was the case when 2:30 was clearly communicated to my wife? And she just smirked at me and shrugged, after she realized that I wasn’t going to take that for an answer, she went back to the pharmacist and she rudely told me that I had to wait at least 15 minutes. Look, I get everyone has bad days, but I’ve worked retail management for over half a decade, and if I was even half as incompetent as what I saw displayed here, I would’ve been terminated long ago. Granted I don’t know much about the pharmaceutical business, but I can tell you that when you tell someone a time, you make a commitment to them to have the work done by a certain time. When you fail to uphold that, you’ve failed them and you lose the customer’s trust. I’m not sure if the staff just needs some serious retraining or if the pharmacy just needs a whole new staff. Regardless, I would not recommend ANYONE go to this pharmacy.

The heavy set girl in the pharmacy always acts like it's an inconvenience that you're there for your meds. I hate coming in here when she's here.

EDIT (2/11/23)If I could give 0 stars, I still would. The pharmacy is still the worst in Bowling Green. Went to pick up prescriptions for my mom and the drive through window is closed. "Please come inside". What?! First you are only open for 6 hours a day and then we all have to go inside, regardless of health, and pick up our medicine. It's horrible! They can't keep staff. The wait is extremely long. I put in my own prescription refill 4 days ago and it's STILL NOT READY. Am I irate? You bet. Like another reviewer says, they actually will not fill in a prescription until you are there to pick it up and you have to wait more. It's ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. People rely on this pharmacy to help them feel better medically and they are failing enormously.-----(6/2022)This pharmacy used to be good about 4 years ago. Now it's the worst pharmacy probably in Bowling Green. Has to be. They never have prescriptions ready. My entire family has to wait an hour to get their prescriptions filled once we come to pick up our medicine after a doctors visit. For example: Had a morning appt at 10, the medicine was sent in, they won't have it done until 2. They never answer the phone. The line is always extremely long. They have a lunch break that is never consistent. I can't believe for a "convenience pharmacy" they are extremely inconvenient!! My parents have medicine that they've had filled for years at this CVS and every time the pharmacy says that the prescription they had filled isn't in their system even though the bottle was from that exact pharmacy!!! Awful!

This location doesn't start to fill a prescription until you show up to pick it up regardless of when it was called in. They regularly say, "We are filling that prescription now. It will be ready in half an hour." Which means you get to drive back through Scottsville Road traffic a second time... It is consistently one of the worst pharmacy experiences I have ever had and I would not use them were CVS not required by my insurance.

May 13 2021. If you need a prescription go elsewhere. My daughter's Dr. Sent in 3 prescriptions around 4:00. I stopped in around 5:30 and was told they weren't filled yet come back in about an hour. I came back 2 hours later and was told the same thing. I explained that I lived 30 minutes away and with gas at $4.29 a gallon I wasn't going home and back again. The girl said she'd expedite my script give them a half hour. 45 minutes later I returned and was told it will be about another hour. I said, "It's 8:30 you close at 9:00. Will it be ready before you close and she said probably not. Thanks for wasting my whole evening. Why not tell me they were incompetent to begin with and to come back tomorrow.May 14 2021. So the pharmacy opens at 9:00. I waited until 12:00 called to check on the prescription and the recording said it was finally ready but when my wife arrived to pick it up at 12:30 she was told it wasn't ready yet and it'll be about an hour.. Needless to say my wife was furious as my daughter had a staff infection and was in desperate need of steroids because if staff goes to the blood it'll kill you. This pharmacy is so incompetent it's a matter of time till they kill someone. So before she left to return an hour later they miraculously found the prescription over 20 hours later.May 17 2021. Made the mistake of using this place again. This time a prescription was called in around 12:00. I called to check it's availability at 3:30 only to be told its not ready yet give us an hour. I than called every half hour and was told not ready yet till the pharmacy closed at 6:00. For the health and safety of your family do not use this place.

I called CVS pharmacy at 1:15 to check on my prescription from the parking lot. They did not answer. I called again 1:20. No answer. I have Covid and cannot go inside to pick up MY INHALER. I get in the drive through and am in line behind several cars. After the cars ahead go, the one directly in front of me pulls off. They closed the blinds and put up a sign that they’re at lunch until 2:00. I get back in line at 1:58 and there’s already a car in front of me. I get up there and they tell me my prescriptions aren’t ready yet. They tell me I have to go around again (and get behind the 7 cars behind me). I’m struggling to breathe and crying and tell them I can’t keep waiting. I’d been there for an hour. They threatened to call the police if I don’t move. One minute after I pull away I get a message my prescriptions are ready. Never have I been treated on much a sub human level. They blamed me and said I was calling when they were already at lunch but I wasn’t. They refused to let me speak to the manager because she way “on the phone”. They didn’t pick up the phone when I tried to call after I left. Please don’t give these people your business. I was struggling to breathe and they didn’t care. Highly recommend Sheldon’s pharmacy (or anywhere else).

Scheduled a flu shot through the CVS app and was able to beat the line when I arrived. I was in and out of the store in under 10 minutes and I also received a $5 off $20 purchase coupon. Get your flu shot and if you haven’t already download the app because you can also manage your medication refills on there.

I hate to be a Karen about this but the pharmacy hours are frustratingly inconvenient. The pharmacy is always closed. I get there is a holiday this week but it closes early through the week now as well. The close hours Monday to Friday are 7pm and it's closed today (Saturday and tomorrow Sunday). There is a holiday on Monday which it is also closed.I had to transfer my prescription to another pharmacy 25 minutes the other direction.Pay your pharmacists more and maybe you would not have only one working.Should I do delivery? Probably, but I do not have that set up currently and the mechanical voice prompts on the automation make me want to gouge out my own eyes

This store is very unorganized. The staff is not friendly and extremely rude in the pharmacy department. Your prescriptions are never ready when promised. The pharmacy hours are the worst-case ever. They are closed more than open. This store needs a corporate visit. Service is not good at all.

Worse pharmacy organization ever! Never can you reach the store pharmacy the automated phone service will not connect to a person period
this store is Constantly down for computer issues! Nearest store to our home is 30 miles away and 75% of the time we go to the store to pick up and there is a system or staff problem where I made a wasted trip!! My insurance dictates that we use CVS for any medication cost benefit! If that was not the case we would never use CVS for our medication needs!!

I needed an emergency refill on Christmas Eve They were swamped because they closed the day before due to a snow storm. They had it done in a few hours. I praise all the employees working that day dealing with the inpatient/rude customers. Merry Christmas

This is ridiculous. The pharmacy is SO SLOW! Every single time I have a prescription put in, it is never ready when I’m told it is. Every single time I come to pick something up there is an excuse as to why it’s not ready yet. “We have been really backed up today” “it will be ready in an hour” “we have a new pharmacist”. I wouldn’t be upset if this was the case every now and then but it’s every single time. If I could give negative stars I would. My wife was told this morning by the pharmacy tech that it would be ready by 8:30. So she gets there at 8:40. They then tell her it will be another 20-30 minutes. So she comes back in 30 minutes. Guess what!? STILL NOT READY! Worst pharmacy I have ever been to. This has been a problem for A YEAR!

This place is the absolute worst anymore. Use to be my family’s go to pharmacy, but have since changed. If you call might as well make some popcorn an watch a movie, they might answer by the time it’s over, very rude employees, slowest drive through in Bowling Green, an want to charge full price on medicine even though you have insurance that covers most of the cost. Then refuse to answer your questions. It doesn’t even deserve the 1 star it makes you use to post a review.

Got my vaccination there. Had to have an appointment. Didn’t have to wait very long. They carry a lot of things the big box stores don’t have. They’re a little pricey.

This place has been nothing but trouble since I switched jobs and waiting for insurance coverage to kick in. The 1st time I went to get my script filled since having no insurance coverage the lady charged me $200 for my meds. I called my Dr. and asked if there was a cheaper alternative since I was going to be without insurance for a few months. He said that they could have looked on good rx to save me money. I looked on there and found the same medicine for $35. I called and expressed my frustration, the manager said he would refund the difference. That never happened. Fast forward 30 days later I go to pick up my refill for the same meds, I get there after receiving an email saying they were ready. Only 1 of the 2 was ready, I told the lady clearly that I had good rx, she said “oh ok, I can get that put in there for you”. She said we didn’t fill the other med for some reason, give me 30 minutes. I drove around came back 30 minutes later, and she said I owed her almost $300. When I asked why, she said that it was a 90 day supply, but she could take it down to 30 to be cheaper. Guess what, another 30 minutes. I looked on good rx found the 90 day supply she tried to charge me $300 for, at Kroger for $18. At this point I was tired of waiting, so I went back to get the 30 day supply thinking it was going to be $22 per script because that is what good rx had it posted for. I pull back into the drive through and she says it’s $69, I try to show her my good rx app. She said the $69 was with the good rx discount and they couldn’t find the one I showed her in their system. I paid the money and went on, I get insurance coverage again starting next month. I’ll never go back to CVS, unless it’s a true emergency. I’ve used CVS for all my prescriptions for the last 10 years, not anymore. Customer service stinks, plus they were to lazy to look and try to save me money.

Have had so many issues with the location! Have had the same prescription for more than 5 years and now they say it’s not in their system after I gave them the empty bottle with their label on it!!!! Also, I can almost guarantee that when you pull up to pick up your prescription, they will tell you they are working on it and it will be 30 minutes!!!!

After spending 30 minutes to drive to the other side of town and wait for my daughter’s prescription at the Bypass location, I was told they don’t have the medication in stock and sent to the Lover’s Lane location. Then after driving back across town, the pharmacist here still hadn’t been alerted to the prescription transfer. After finding it, she tells me she has “about 100” prescriptions ahead of me and it will take 30 minutes if she expedites it. There is literally not one other customer here waiting on a prescription (see pic of the Pick Up counter). So I say there are not 100 people standing here waiting like I am, and she says “yes, but they could be.” What?? I point out it is CVS’s fault that I even had to come to this location, and she agrees it is CVS’s fault for “not staffing their pharmacy adequately.” So at least we can agree on one thing.

I was running really close on time to pick up my prescription, and called when I was less than 4 miles from CVS (it was 5:55, they close at 6). I called to let them know I was on Cave Mill road, and on my way, but may be 1-2 minutes late. I was told very clearly that "we shut everything down at 6". No offer to wait an extra minute or so, just a rigid "too bad" response. So....I get it. If it was important, I'd make sure I'm there before 6. Great customer service, however, can be the difference of waiting a few minutes, and showing compassion. Tonight, I was in the store at 6:02, and as promised they were "shut down". I don't know if there is a strict policy that says "you have to shut the gate at 6", but I seriously doubt it. What if I was there at 5:59, but my transaction wasn't complete at 6...would you just as clearly state that you shut everything down at 6, and not give me my prescription? Here is a piece of advice I was once given regarding customer service: you don't sell for the sell, you sell for re-sells and referrals. If I have a good experience, I will remember it and return. I may even tell others about my good experience. Unfortunately, I had an experience that frustrated me. A simple gesture of kindness would have gone a long way. Instead, I will be moving my families prescription/business elsewhere, and sharing my bad experience with others. All because they couldn't wait 2 minutes.

My wife had a prescription sent here, went to pick it up the next day and they had nothing for her in the computer. Went to Kroger to get it filled and Kroger said that cvs already submitted it through insurance so had to use a discount card at Kroger. Done with these yahoos

This pharmacy refused to transfer a required prescription for an epileptic child because the pharmacist was "on lunch" at 12PM. The published sign in the store said the pharmacist wouldn't be on lunch until 1:30PM.The pharmacy tech then LIED and said they were actually out of the medication in question. Options were EXTREMELY limited due to a state of emergency following a tornado. We will be pursuing legal action.
