The Wichita Walmart at one of the most frustrating intersections in town, Maize and 21st North. Obviously not a fan of making the stop here, I still managed to find a few things once inside plus I liked the big Chiefs and Halloween displays. But what is up with the vinyls here?? Absolutely none in stock. I can’t recommend a place that doesn’t provide one of the best things offered by their company.

I needed assistance in the sporting goods area and the clerk from the check out by the auto shop was really helpful. She took the time to help me locate something that ended up being on their highest shelf. She got a ladder and a young man got it down for me.

This experience was ruined by 1 person. My family and I went shopping and had a real good shopping experience till the very end, we are all sick so we are wearing masks not to infect others. We were just about to leave as the man at the door hollered at us to stop and to check our receipt I don't mind being asked but the tone he took was insulting and insinuating. We usually don't feel profiled but being a minority and wearing a mask doesn't give you the right to take that tone with my 5 year old, my wife or myself. Just seems strange that out of EVERYONE leaving my family and I got singled out. Not appreciated next time I'll just go to Goddard.

I am most pleased with the service department! They did what I asked them to do and vacuumed my floor boards! But the clerk that checked me out in the service department handled my checkout, including groceries with ease and kindness!

This Walmart has no clue what customer service is. They think they are a franchise and not part of the Walmart Corporation. The employees are snotty and extremely unhelpful. Management should really look into some training courses on what good customer service is.Taking care of the customer should be a priority.

Friends, I wrote my reviews under that Walmart on google. The best Walmart. I did not believe what I was seeing there. Great cleaning and shining store, well organized and without confusion. Isles were open for people to talk and look around. I will take 35 likes RT to do my Walmart shopping leaving all others within 5-7 miles. You all must try and see the difference. Picture more than thousand words, so see you yourself. Great job done by the Managers of that store. You must see this store.

Based on my experience here, this store is pretty good. It was decently clean and organized. Good selection of items. Would recommend and would return.

was racially profiled just because they thought i'd steal diapers when I clearly told the worker at self checkout I was going to pay for the diapers at customer service which was right in front of us. I literally walked straight towards customer service & waited in line & once I got to checking out I saw the manager looking at me & ask the customer service cashier if i'm buying the diapers to which she replied yes & then the manager spoke into the mic & told the self checkout lady I was buying the diapers. I feel offended bc I know if it was any other woman doing the same thing im doing, they would not be suspicious. why did she suspect id steal the diapers when I clearly told her what I was doing?? Props to the cashier because she was so sweet & didn't judge me like the other workers

I went to exchange a car battery, had no problems. Got in and out faster than any other Walmart in Wichita ,KS.

A young lady named Jaylee noticed that I had not grabbed all of my cash back at one of the self checkout machines and stopped me from walking away and then she retrieved it for me. I couldn't see it because the machine had bunched it up! Taught me a lesson for sure... count my cash before walking away!! THANK YOU, JAYLEE!

Zero stars for Ashley working the late shift.She was no help and full of excuses so I found another employee that was willing to help and found me what I needed. According to Ashley they didn’t have it and didn’t seem to care if we found it. Also Thomas at self checkout needs to have a key to unblock the security devices so we don’t have to visit customer service to have it removed

NEVER come here to get your car looked at. They take 4 hours to fix a tire. Workers talking on the phone, on their phone, walking around doing nothing. They will be backed up and workers will go on breaks or walk in and out doing nothing. Never come here for anything auto related horrible service very slow and workers seem like they do not care. -100 rating not even worth a star.

I was having a HORRIBLE day with my debit and credit cards. (Identity theft) While checking out at self checkout and trying to work with deactivated cards, my phone power died. I had to get inventive.. had to rescan all my items at 3 registers.. it was closing time and we weren’t done until 15 minutes after registers were to be locked but the older lady was sweet. I could tell she was losing her patience, but she never broke her kindness attitude, when my transaction finally went through, I think she rejoiced as much as I did. The experience was awful, but the situation, and the handling of it was excellent.

Came in today to pick up a few things including some Bluetooth earbuds. It was 40 minutes until the store closed, so I came in with the expectation that I'd have to ask for someone to unlock the case. After waiting 10 minutes after asking for assistance, another guy walked up as the LOD was walking to the back. She went right to him and he was helped immediately. I figured she didn't realize who was waiting to be helped first, so I asked if she'd be able to bring my headphones up with the other guys stuff. Well, obviously that was a huge no. She snapped back with an overwhelming look of seething stress and hate to tell me that she'd first have to bring his stuff up.So rather than choosing to apologize for the miscommunication and making her job easier by taking both of our stuff up; she chose to be both rude and make her job twice as difficult. I chose to leave my cart in the aisle and walk out. I'm a retail manager and understand how stressful the job can be, but I also know how to properly handle a situation. I'm not going to stand around and be punked for no reason.I don't expect much from Walmart and tend to avoid any interaction with any of their employees. However, I don't expect to be treated like I'm being unreasonable for not wanting to wait an additional 15 minutes so the teenager that walked up can have the red carpet rolled out for him.(Updated from one star to three: I have not seen that night LOD as of late. Hopefully she has found another opportunity she is capable of handling. Because Walmart was definitely not her calling.)

These people don't have enough to do, They all stare at you n your cart to make sure you scan everything then they Want to see your receipt... I'm tired of doing a yall's job you start scanning it and bagging it carrying it to my car start getting paid for something

We were in on the morning of 9/3/23 and were looking for a particular type of doughnut, but there weren’t any of that kind out. We asked a worker in the bakery if they were going to be putting any out later, just thinking we might swing by later if we were back out. She asked which kind we were looking for, and when we told her, she told us to hold on for one moment. A couple of moments later and she had a box of them prepared for us. She was very nice and helpful, and the pastries were really fresh.
