Outstanding service by Kyle today at 37th and Woodlawn!! I noticed right away how friendly and outgoing he was tonight as he was multitasking with every customer! Greeting customers, running the front and photo lab all at once while being very upbeat and friendly to everyone!!I worked in customer service In management positions for years so someone like Kyle stands out when I see someone excel at their job and go above and beyond!! Thank you Kyle for your outstanding service today.

The store employees are always friendly and helpful. My only complaint is I had the new RSV vaccine on 9.15.23. I was the first appointment of the day. The pharmacist who was administering the vaccine said she was new. She seemed flustered because she had the protective gloves on but opened the door with her hands, rendering them irrelevant to protect against germs. Somehow the needle did not work and all the medicine ran down my arm. She did not offer me a tissue or explain what happened. Only asking me to take a seat outside the room. A few minutes later she summoned me back and I received the vaccine a second time. I am not afraid of needles, so if it had been someone who was, this would have been a very traumatic experience, especially another senior citizen like myself. Walgreens, stop working Your pharmacists so hard so they can be more efficient at what they do without having to multi-task after a pandemic.

I thought Dillions pharmacy had issues but when I switched to Walgreens at 37th and Woodlawn pharmacy in Wichita it has terrible service. The pharmacy drive up is slower than a seven year itch as the saying goes; doesn't matter what time of day. Service is worse when going inside; you can stand there for several minutes without anyone servicing you. Several times I’ve had to ask if anyone is working the counter. People here are not properly trained on how to pull your insurance info up when you have tricare and medicare. A plus is the staff is pleasant when you finally see one.

My brother was demanded by his nursing school for his covid-19 vaccine card. When he moved out from an abusive house a year ago. He lost his card along with some paperwork. Until now he has to go back to this location in which he took the vaccine from years ago. The first time he asked for his covid-19 card. There was an old pharmacy tech lady not really friendly, keep saying she cannot give his covid record card due to she cannot find any information about him in the system. After half an hour of argument, she somehow figured it out and gave my brother his card. The second time when he accidentally lost his card when he brought it to a doctor's office in El Dorado. He keeps it in a folder along with other paperwork, but somehow his card is lost and not the other paperwork. Things happen in life, people lose the stuff unintentionally. My brother came back and asked for a second replacement. He has to talk with the same tech lady again. This time she just gave him the worst attitude you can ever get from a tech. She brushes off his request quickly and when my brother asks her when he can come back and get a second replacement of his card. She just said :"I don't know", and turned her back away from him and ignored him. I have to call another friend to come and help him out and talk with the pharmacy manager to solve the problem. The manager seemed to understand and quickly got my brother's card replaced. It took everyone the whole morning.

I have heard of department stores/retail stores overcharging customers ALLOT recently. I had this very scenario happened to me today at this Walgreens! Seven items purchased; two items were overcharged. After going back in and speaking with the clerk, walking to find the items on the shelf and verify prices, then doing a return and refund, and finally re-ringing up the items and paying the correct prices, it came to a total of $5.88 that they were overcharging me. Not to mention the fact that I put in my customer rewards number during the first transaction which should have gave me $3 Walgreens rewards in my Walgreens account and I didn't get that either! After the headache of the searching, refunding, and re-ringing up of the items, I just let the Walgreens rewards go. But it makes me wonder.... if I could go back over the last 365 days with all my purchases from Walgreens (which I buy all of my makeup from them; which is usually No7 brand), just how much did they overcharge me all the other times!? I know for a FACT this happened to me again another time at the Walgreens on Woodlawn and 13th Street. And they had overcharged me by $2 when I had only purchased three items. I am tired of these stores trying to rip off their loyal honest customers by overcharging to try to makeup for lost money from thieves.... Makes me livid. What can we do other than what i have just done? Please advise.

Went here for my Covid shot last week. The young woman checking folks in was, busy, amazing and friendly. But the dude who gave me my shot Eric, knew zero about giving shots. Luckily I knew a few things and talked him through it. But the patient room were so filthy it was obvious it hadn’t been cleaned in years, despite Covid protocol. asked him about it and he just mumbled and walked out without answering me. I’m pretty sure I won’t be going back to that filth pit for my second shot. Clean people. They were very thorough about billing someone for my vaccination and explained that better than anything else including my follow up. Thank goodness I actually read the paperwork mumbles left in the dirty room as he left.***Edit I went back to this location for my follow up vaccination about a month later. Since my first post they have thoroughly cleaned the patient room I was given my shot in. And the same young man Eric, gave me my booster shot. He too is much improved at shot administration, customer interaction, and info giving. Thanks Walgreens for making the needed changes.

I've used this clinic before and was happy with the service. I made an appointment for 3:40 on a Sunday, the last available before closing at 4. I was driving from SE Kansas and got there as quickly as I could. I was 5 minutes late and they were closed at 3:45. A woman came out of the door and asked if she could help me I told her I had an appointment and she said I was late and needed to reschedule. Keep in mind that this was before closing time and there were no other patients there. She asked what I needed and I showed her my finger where I had been bitten by a spider. She said "We don't do bites". I informed her that I had been treated in this same clinic a year ago for a spider bite. She said "We don't do bites you need to go to the emergency room" and walked back into the room and closed the door. I went to the minor emergency clinic on North Rock Rd where I was treated quickly and well. If I could give zero stars I would.

Went to pick up a 4x6 photo as well as a 8x10 floating frame picture and was not to impress with the work that was done.I only had 1 4x6 photo so whoever put it in the envelope for me when it printed out would have seen the big white line that went across the picture. It was not till I looked at the picture in my car that I noticed it was there and made sure that the line was not part of my photo I printed there. When I went back in the lady did print me a new photo very quickly. So im just surprised the person who got it ready did not reprint the photo, but tried to pass off a terrible photo to the customer.Also the 8x10 photo frame was not put together very well as all. The front of the frame looks decent, but the back is terrible. The wood pieces do not come together.

If you're getting a covid vaccine, go anywhere else but here. Waited about 45 minutes (granted it was only 25 minutes after registered appt) to get the vaccine. Lady doing it was professional but offered no explanation or apology. People were nice enough but couldn't seem to care less about your time.

On Wednesday I came in a lil anxious. I needed a special photo printout but I didn't know how. I had a deadline the next day. Kendra listened to my need and she arranged the photo print that I needed in a few minutes. And saved me some money in her doing. I appreciate that kind of service. Kendra, it worked really good. You are good kind person. Thank you.

Went there to buy bath soap and it is behind lock and key!! How bizarre, very humorous when you can buy a 30.00 jar of face cream sitting on the shelf. Won't return to any Walgreens!

I enjoy the store and the people who work there at the counters and in cosmetics, but I was a bit disappointed with the Health Care Clinic.Not necessarily because of the people working in the clinic but for the fact that I needed an x-ray and while I was trying to communicate back and forth with the clinic I discovered you can NOT call them directly, you go through a call service that sends them a message and then you wait, sometimes until the next day. I was sent to an imagine place down the street and the communication between the three of us was very difficult resulting in me waiting almost 3 days for an answer.I think the clinic is great for common colds, coughs and sore throats but would recommend seeing your real doctor's office for anything needing x-rays and immediate diagnosis on more "injury" type of accidents.

One pharmacy tech was very kind as I went to pick up a prescription for my husband. She prepared it and handed it to the pharmacist(?) to give to me. She didn’t make an introduction just stared at me and without a smile told me I needed an id to pick up that particular med. I didn’t know that and didn’t have it on me. She said that I should know that given the class of drug it was. My husband had only taken samples of it and this was the first fill - neither of us knew what class it belonged to, it was not a narcotic. I was ignorant, and instead of being polite with her instruction she was rude. Her manner was short and unfriendly. She looked stressed and frustrated and that was not my fault. She could have been kind and was not. Customer service is lacking just about everywhere. I came in with a smile, and left feeling upset. I don’t mind coming back with an id to get this med because of policy, just the attitude I apparently have to endure at Walgreens pharmacy. Next fill will be somewhere else.

Very bad service, refused to offer western union service due to no knowledge of procedures, and manager- refused to give the name- she has red lips tattoo on her right neck, she got offended by me telling her how to run the procedures. She kept telling me go to other Walgreens locations, And called the cop on me because she doesn't wan to deal with me, really? Conclusion, she will call the cop on you if you refuse to leave, because she doesn't want to deal with you.

Went in with my boyfriend to have a persciption filled. The Dr. called it in about 1:30, went to the pharmacy around 5:00. Was told the persciption wasn't filled yet, he asked about how long and was told "until its ready" turned around to sit down "insurance, I need you insurance" he gave her the insurance card, she put it in and told him he'd get 30 days worth persciption was for 90. He asked if she pulled the right insurance because he had two, one for the Dr. one for the persciption, both on the same card. She informed him she put in the one on the card. He asked which one ''the one on the card" back and for maybe twice more so he turned around and walked away. We went back about 15 minutes later same associate was being just as unhelpful with a women trying to fill her persciption. Apparently the medication was on back order and she could only get a partial refil and would have to call back repeatedly until it was back in, they wouldn't transfer her refill or look up if aanearby pharmacy had the medication. We got to the counter and asked why it was a persciption for less then the perscribed amount and was simply told he can come back for the rest when he was out and was asked to pay. He had to see the pharmacist before being handed the medication. She took less then a glance at it, gave him the wrong instructions on when to take the medication (once a day instead of twice) gave incorrect information about the medication and told him he could have bought it over the counter. He told her yes, but then he'd have to pay full price (insurance) and thought it would be convenient to get a presciption but was wrong. He was then told "well you have to do what you think you should". We used to love the pharmacy staff at this location, I don't remember their names but there was a petite young Asian women and a young white male who always we're friendly and helpful. The worker "Liz" and the pharmacist who were there tonight we're unhelpful, rude, wrong, and I sincerely hope they are transferred from this location and or hopefully no longer work customer service as apparently it's not their calling.If I have a good experience in the futute I'll happily update this review.

Went through the pharmacy drive through, previous time had a problem so was a bit nervous only to have the exact same problem. Which only started recently, my prescription that is supposed to be $5 came to over $600. When I told her that was incorrect this happened last time and what needed to be done to fix it, she rolled her eyes and said it was MY fault in the first place. She said I had to call my insurance company and then paused (someone was correcting her) and said oh I guess it is our end BUT this will happen every time and YOU need to call ahead. It's going to be about 30 min before we can fix it. You need to come back. I explained I moved across town and already called the Walgreens close to me and they don't have it and she said I needed to leave until it was done. Left and immediately had it transferred. Will never deal with Walgreens pharmacy again.

If they tell you 15 to 20 minutes for your prescriptions RUN. We had to leave without after waiting over half an hour. They said they could not verify the prescription because the doctor office was not open. Funny cause I called after leaving and they answered. Will not be returning.

The cashier is very rude does not greet and if you speak to her she acts bothered ,not positive by name but older woman mid 50s,but on the other hand the younger woman always greets with a smile .Its sad to say the younger ones have more respect than the ones that should now better

Slowest pharmacy in the country. It is very common to wait an hour or more in the drive thru to pick up prescriptions that were said to be ready days before. Absolutely pathetic service.

Friendly faces and great quality products with fair prices. This is a one stop shop for pretty much all your essential needs. Although I don’t recommend doing grocery shopping here, they do have most of the grocery items.

Something goes wrong everytime at this pharmacy. Also, if you call, expect there to be at least 3 other people ahead of you. You'll be on hold for a very, very long time.

The pharmacy employee she is totally unprofessional made me go back to the ER with me being in full pain because she doesn’t know how to find my prescription and even told her to call the hospital she wouldn’t help with that spend between hospital and the pharmacy close to 3 hours struggling to get my medicine , very unsatisfied with Walgreens 😡😡🤬🤬🤬
