I wish i had gotten her name but the lady who runs this small town breakfast-bakery is very hospitable and friendly. The coffee was great, fresh, proudly spoken of. The breakfast was delicious, perfect eggs and hashbrowns. Homemade toast, her great grandmother's recipe. You've got to have her marmalade with it! All around great experience.-a traveling Pennsylvanian

We stopped 7/5/21 and what a disappointment. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and a side of sausage. The biscuit was hard and the gravy was like wallpaper paste, I didn’t get my order of sausage.You have to pay for water and a cup of coffee is $1.75 with no refills. The lady never came around after bringing our food. Pretty disappointing for a small town. The men in there having coffee were very friendly.Needless to say we won’t be back😢In response to the owners comment I wish you had told me not to come I didn’t insist on anything I told you that we were in Wakeeney and you said come on down. The cups you serve the coffee in is not 12 oz it’s maybe 4. You did come out and refill a locals cup but totally ignored our table and we were the only ones there! I did not have an attitude at all I believe you were the one with the attitude when I asked for a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy you snapped at me that you don’t do 1/2 orders of anything! I asked for water do you not have glasses of water or do you charge for that too?I did make you angry when I asked about the charge on my bill but I have every right to ask you that and I thanked you for going over it for me!If you knew your biscuits and gravy were not fit to eat why didn’t you tell me you were out? You didn’t bring me the sausage I ordered was that intentional?Your toast was very good my dads friend shared a 1/2 slice with me or I wouldn’t have had anything for breakfast and you didn’t care enough to come check on us.We found the whole experience pretty disheartening.

I didn't have time to get her name but we were going through western Kansas on our trip and stopped here after having a unfortunate experience with the hotels breakfast. She was so sweet and lively,the hash browns and bread was delicious. Don't think twice about getting a baked good especially the pastries. If ever down that way again, I'll Definetly stop by.

So glad we found this place!! A few minutes off of the interstate, but 100 times better than anything right on the interstate. A bakery and a breakfast nook.Some of the best pancakes I've had anywhere, seriously. Artisan coffee was great. Homemade bread. Very gracious and kind hospitality. Will make it a point to come back next time I'm coming through.

Stopped here on the drive back from Colorado to St. Louis and it was a wonderful surprise. Andi was a gracious host and served us a delicious homestyle meal using her family recipes and her signature homemade bread which she was baking as we ate! Wonderful breakfast and many cool offerings on the menu. Can't wait to stop by again next time we come thru Kansas!

Honestly, I didn't even order food after walking in the building.From the pictures submitted, the menu is smaller, there is only drip coffee and the were only 2 cinnamon rolls. Nothing looked fresh.

Absolutely wonderful small town bakery. My wife and I happened into town one day for the Christmas festival, and the bakery was closed. Not knowing it was closed we pulled on the door and went inside, when the owner saw is she informed us that the store was closed, but went ahead and sold us a box of donuts, cupcakes, and other treats. As we discussed the Christmas party happening that evening she informed us that we were more than welcome to park behind her building for easy access to the town square. When we return later in the day, we walked inside again and were greeted by the same owner as earlier who gave us a sampling of some of the fudge she was going to be selling that night. I would recommend anyone passing through Wakeeney to stop and pay a visit, everything we purchased and tried in the store was absolutely wonderful. You will not find hospitality in the city like you will find here. I cannot wait to go back!
