Was running all over town today looking for a coat for my wife. Ended up calling and found out they had a few that she may like. We live on the south side of town. Anyways after calling they took the time to run back to the rack not only to see if there was a few left, but also to check her size. Needless to say our call ended up with a trip to the north to buy a coat. It's just the little things like great customer service that we felt they are a great place for us. I'll definitely return for more.Thanks for helping us.

Fantastic farm supply store, that is very well stocked. It was a little out of the way for me, but it was well worth the trip. Much much better than TS. Bonus, the service was excellent. Planning on coming back for spring garden planting.

I really like the employees at the Tarwaters in Holton. Very friendly and helpful.I am not impressed with the grain. The last four bags of cracked corn I have purchased from Tarwaters has been awful. A good portion of the corn was ground into powder. Also plenty of CORN COBS ground up into the mix. How did Tarwaters not know that they were selling me ground up corn cobs instead of corn!I'm not interested in dragging 50lb bags back to Holton for a refund. Lesson learned and I will be purchasing elsewhere from now on.

I'm not in the farming, cattle, hog, or chicken industries, but I frequent Tarwaters. We've purchased many yard tools and fertilizers from Tarwaters. They have knowledgeable people that work on the tools. We also get our bird feed from them; our gold finches won't eat anything other than the Tarwaters finch mix!

This is probably the best farm store in Topeka. They have my favorite brand Carhartt. And a pretty good selection of John Deere toys.

Great store. They have the top customer service and are very knowledgeable. They will make sure you get what you need where others give you the most expensive. Highly recommended. Stihl dealer. Will maintenance and fix equipment as well.

This is the last great place to get the yard tools and pretty supplies on the north side of Topeka. As well as parts for your mowers and yard equipment. Hi talk to Brian or Darrel for the right parts the first time.

Terrible customer service. Scheduled my mowers annual service back in March. Was told they couldn't get to it until May 19. I said ok, was told they would pick up, service and return in a week. Picked it up on the 19th, didn't hear from them so called on the 26th. Was told they would get it done at the latest on Tuesday the 30th. Stopped in today 6/2 and they had not even started on it, said maybe by Monday. Asked them to just go ahead and bring it back so I could mow, they couldn't even accommodate that. Over commit and under perform, that seems to be their business model.

They have everything and so helpful with finding what you need. It's April right now and they have little drawers of prepackaged garden seeds for 50 cents. Go get yourself some.

Great way to spend 400% more for parts that still have to be ordered from the same place and cost them the same as a common consumer... makes you wonder why Amazon is doing so well at keeping the wheels turning at their places... darn shame as I do my best to support local whenever possible... 400% mark up for a "not in stock part" Not today Punkin!!!

The people are so nice and friendly. My daughter wanted to sing a new song she learned to the worker and he stopped and gave her his full attention and praised her and thanked her for it. It can be hard to find people like this now days.The store is very clean and organized. It is easy to find exactly what you are looking for.We love shopping here!

I hadn't been there in awhile, but i just went a couple days ago and everyone was super nice, as well as super helpful. They have a huge selection of basically everything, the store was neat, and prices reasonable. I can buy hay/feed here that I can't get anywhere else in town. I'm going to make it a point to shop here much more often. I wish they were open later in the evenings, but it's worth it to get out there right after work to get what I need.

Great experience here. The customer service is really good, and they help you find your parts for your equipment very fast. Found my pulley here for my mower that isn't made anymore! Highly recommend and I will be back!
