My pup and I always love coming to Hollywood Feed. She is allowed inside and loves all the different smells. The staff is always super helpful and gives great advice on what you are needing for all stages of dogs. Sean was great and gave her some treats after we got her goods. Right now Poppy is loving the Nothing to Hide Wishbones as she is 4 months old and teething a ton!

Wow! The associate yesterday was more knowledgeable than any other store I’ve ever been to. He helped me compare each brand and explained in detail the reasons it would be good for my old dog with medical issues. The store is fully stocked with nutrient dense brands and I feel very good about my choice. Even though many other people came in, he was able to get to them all and back to me while I was deciding. I will be ordering monthly from Hollywood Feed online and having it delivered free!

Just passing through we found everything and more for our cats which is amazing for us since they are on such a restrictive diet! Great staff and honestly amazing prices. A gem worth coming back for next time your driving through.

This place is our staple for living in Prairie Village. I love feeling confident that we are receiving high quality products for our 4 legged love. The staff is knowledgeable, Trent is especially so. Trent has helped me the last few times I’ve been in the store. He guided me to the right food for an elderly cat we adopted with dental issue. He was able to explain in detail which cat food would be the best and WHY it is the best. Last visit he fitted our dog with a new harness and explained why the design was so beneficial and how it mimics a dog’s natural instinct based on their mother’s nurturing. He’s really a great asset to the company. I would highly recommend this place. :-)

We shopped at Hollywood Feed for two years in Atlanta, and were so happy they put one in the Kansas City area right as we moved here! The selection of products is unmatched, and they employees at this store treat our dogs so well, even though one of them can be a little crazy for treats!

I ordered dog food for curbside pickup. I arrived and a nice young man put the food in my car. I mean, that's it. Not much activity there to rate but it was all fine.

Not impressed at all with this business. Have purchased dog food (Open Farm) three times in the past and a member of their food club (buy 11 and get the 12th free). I received a coupon from 'Open Farm' for 15% off of freeze dried which cost 29.99 per 13.5 oz bag. The coupon states use either online or in a retail store good for entire purchase on one visit. I grabbed three freeze dried bags and went to the counter. The register lady stated she could only take the 15% off of one bag. I disagreed, so she had the lady in charge look at the coupon. I had told her prior to coming into the store that i had ordered 3 bags online to see how the discount worked. The 15% was taken off of all three bags. (but did not go through with the purchase). I prefer to buy local and give whatever business i can to our retail stores. The lady stated she could not honor the coupon and somewhat sarcastically. I put the freeze dried back on the shelf, came home and ordered five bags online being this business will not be seeing me again in the future. To all pet owners: Please, for your pet's sake, learn about what you are feeding your pet. Big difference between feed and human grade. Feed grade is 95% of your commercial kibble and 80% of your freeze dried and meals. Do not listen to the salespeople, they are there to make money, not look after the best interest of your pet.

Hollywood Feed is the only place we take our dog for a wash! They have all the supplies we need and it’s affordable too. Dana and staff are so kind and give Nala a treat when we check out, which she now expects each visit. :-)

I stopped in on 7/7/22 to pick up treats for my dog. Thank God my daughter noticed the bug infestation in the treats that you bag yourself and are sold by weight. She let someone in the store know that all of the boxes had bugs in them. We stopped back in tonight, 7/8/22 and all of the boxes of treats are still out and they still have the bugs in them. I feel bad for whoever buys these and brings these bugs into their car and/or home. Hopefully no one’s dog gets sick if these aren’t taken off the shelf.

It was our first time shopping at PetPeople and we had the best experience! The staff was super helpful and incredibly kind. We explained that we were out killing time before picking up our dog from his neutering surgery and they were sweet enough to let us take some bakery treats for free! I highly recommend shopping there for all your pet supplies, they really care about their customers and your pets.

I went into pet people for the first time last week. I got a few food and treat samples that my dogs loved. I was also informed that there were self service baths which I thought would be worth a try. Today I came back with one of my boys. He was really nervous being somewhere new but the staff was very nice and welcoming. eventually I got him in one of the large tubs and started washing him. He calmed way down and after his blow dry he looked very handsome. Then it was onto toys, treats and a new food that would hopefully help with some skin irritation. This place is great! The staff made good recommendations without being pushy. Scrappy and I now have a new weekly bath place.
