I have had excellent service and response from the PALS crew. They are nice, respectful, knowledgeable and care deeply about the animals they are there to protect. The animals are healthy and well cared for and treated like their own. The building is always clean and you can tell they take pride in serving the community. I have recommended several to PALS and will continue to do so.

yikes. management here is unbelievably rude and unreasonable. was told i could get a dog put on hold, then when i was supposed to pick up was told he was on hold for someone else. then told my application was denied because i had to get rid of a cat that bit us. poor customer service.

PALS is great. They really care about the animals and keep the place clean. Hey stated they have about 20 adoptions a month. Of course, I suggest more adoptions for this wonderful shelter. I've signed up there as a volunteer for whenever they need me.

Horrible experience. I called this place earlier today to see about dropping off a cat, that was dumped on my property. Was going to bring her with food and donation money. As soon as i mentioned it was not mine to begin with, the woman I had spoken to hung up the phone on me. Don't call yourself proud animal lovers when you clearly do not care about animals. Do not work at a shelter if you do not want to care for animals. I will never contact this shelter for any reason whatsoever. Maybe they should put on their website that they are picky about animals they accept. Awful people.

I drove from Lebanon, Mo. to get a dog that they had , they called her pixie and I renamed her Greta. Very clean and friendly and the animals are taken care of. Greta is very happy, sweet, and very lovable.

This is NOT a “no kill” shelter as they will not take abandoned animals. If that weren’t bad enough, they do not offer other suggestions for the animals. So, what happens to the animals then? Do not donate money to this “shelter”.
