Don't let the run down mobile homes at the front dissuade you from staying. Todd is a very nice guy, our site was level, utilities all worked, it was quiet with lots of green space. Also has a storm shelter by the office. Across the street from a grocery store and a Dollar General. Improvements would be an enclosed dog park as well as a bathhouse/laundry. Definitely would stay again!

While the curb appeal on this one had me nervous at first (there are some run down looking trailers up front) this park is actually a nice place to stop. The sites are spacious and well-maintained, perfectly quiet with some trees and a large grassy lot replete with bird sounds and the owner is very nice. I was gonna dock a star for the trailers but our experience was so good I decided not to.

Highly recommended! We were planning to camp in Branson, but bad storms rerouted us west. Todd found us a spot, and after a long, windy day of driving, it was a relief to see him greet us at the entrance. With storms still a possibility, Todd offered up the campground office basement as an option if we needed to take shelter. As it turned out, the storms did indeed follow us over, and at 1am, we showed up (wife, three kids and I) and camped out on the floor in the office basement. He was there keeping things calm and checking the situation outside every 20 minutes. Todd is one of those people who remind you the world is still a good place.

The park was quiet and clean. The host was very nice and insightful. Told us about local stops and even met us leaving and made sure we were all good to go with our travels. Would definitely stay again.

Todd is a fantastic guy and this is one of the most peaceful places we have ever stayed. Spread out and a big grass field. This place is an oasis… we even left the RV plugged in and stored for a few weeks when we drove to Chicago. Top notch - thanks Todd! We will be back.

After a very long day of driving, I needed a nice safe quiet place for the family and I to rest . We were fortunate enough to be near Hillside RV. Calling close to 9pm we were greeted cheerfully by Mr. Todd . Amazing! The RV sites are in immaculate condition , order and cleanliness. Add a great Host and you have a winner . !!! I will definitely write this place down in our book .

Nothing fancy, but long level gravel site, shade trees, good city water, and quiet. Many long term campers, but all areas were very orderly. Grocery store and gas nearby. Owner Tod guided us to our site, and went out of his way to help. Exceptional value. If you pass thru SE Kansas this is a great option. 20 minutes from Big Brutus in West Mineral; a must-see in this area.

This is a basic no frills campground. It is maintained very well and quiet. The owners also own the mobile home park next door and it is very clean and neat. The sites are good sized, gravel with a nice grassy area, and long enough for our 37-foot RV, tow-dolly and parking the car. Some sites have trees for shade and there are open ones as well. The owners were wonderful. We got all hooked up and discovered that the electric didn't work. We called them and they came right over and put in a new breaker so we didn't have to unhook everything and move to a new spot. There is a large field for dog walking. We had full hook-ups, the WiFi was slow a few times but most of the time it worked well. Our Verizon signal was moderate but our hotspot worked fine when we needed it. We stayed the last week in September 2016 and paid $18 a night with our Passport America discount.

Todd couldn’t have been nicer. Price was very reasonable and he quickly led us to our space. He even went to the store and bought ice for us! He shared his home-grown tomatoes with us!

Stay here from June 10th thru June 17th 2018 for a family reunion. Great rates!!!!!!!!! Todd (the owner) was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Park was clean and quiet. No pool, or clubhouse but may be in future plans. Enjoyed sitting outside in the evening with some of our family who also stayed here and parked next to us. If you are traveling through this is a great place. Would stay here again. Thanks Todd!!!!!!!!!!

Being full time RV'rs we have been through a lot of parks from the resort style have to have the perfect rv. To the stereotypical trashy mobile home park. This is hands down one of the best places, no frills, easy rv park. Management is more than friendly, lay out of the park is perfect. They even have heat wrapping on the water spigots. Again this is a not frills park, no laundry, no pool. However it is one of the best parks I have been in.
