I will always be very grateful for this animal clinic because they helped me with my dog he was suffering for my dog because he was suffering with hemorrhaging in his ear and I couldn't afford the total price at the time so they worked with me and I'm very grateful for that I would suggest this animal clinic in anybody and every body we were so scared we were going to lose our dog because he was going to have his ears would open and bleed to the veterinarian here they relieved his pain

Dr Wilcox has treated each of my animals with so much care. She really individualized each of my pets care and understood all their needs. Most recently our cat had some mysterious goings on and had fallen very ill. It felt like the end was near but Dr Wilcox did everything she could, was able to find an obstruction and remove it. I’m so thankful everyday that I wake up and all my pets are still here thanks to her!

BE CAREFUL WHEN CHOOSING THIS VET. My cat got attacked by a coyote which bit off his tail and he was bleeding everywhere. When I called in a panic and needed help the most, I was informed they were all booked up. I told her my 3 cats and 3 dogs are patients there and it was an emergency, she informed me to go to the emergency clinic. So I was shocked that their practice is focused on easy care routine services, but when you need them the most, they can’t attend to the critical needs of your pet. There are good and credible vets that are out there for the routine and your urgent pet needs. Just not this one. GOOD RIDDANCE!

Louisburg Animal Clinic is the best Animal clinic around they take excellent care of my cats and are extremely gentle and friendly with all pets. Been taking my pets to them for over 8 years and wouldn't trade them for no other Animal clinic. Dr. Wilcox is amazing and caring aswell as all her staff. Thank you Louisburg Animal Clinic for taking good care of my fur babies all these years.

I’ve been to this clinic twice so far and LOVED it both times. The first time I took my new puppy for a nail trim. They were so kind and courtesy to my puppy while being respectful of it time. Then my 14 1/2 year old puppy was dying from a terrible heart disease and I had to make the awful decision to put him to sleep, they went ABOVE AND BEYOND. It was the most difficult thing I’ve had to do and they were so amazing through the whole process. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. They even sent us a condolence card in the mail. And even through all this, there prices are very reasonable. You cannot ask for a better vet. Clean, courtesy, reasonably priced and convenient! ❤️

We moved and had heard through the grape vine about Louisburg Vet clinic, my parents use them so we gave it a shot. I have never been to a a better vet, it was around $140 for checkups on both our dogs, one got treated for a yeast infection in his ear and talked about some solutions for motion sickness and flea and tick medication. The dr was very nice and respectful, it has been about a week since there appointment and I received a call checking on Colts ear. NEVER have I had a vet call to check on an animal. Definitely recommend going here!

With the new owner, this place is great! Front desk ladies are super nice. Our dog always comes home hoarse from barking the entire time, which is great for us (probably not for the staff).

I called before I went over there about a cat that someone dumped off at my place that was pregnant had.(5 kittens) the girl that answered the phone told me I could get the cat fixed,and ear clipped, and a rabies shot for under $100. When I drop the cat off I said it didn't need the ear clipped I'm on a farm. She said that was fine. when I picked the cat up they told me my bill was $140 when asked why she said because I wouldn't and didn't have them clipped the cat's ear. I didn't do what they recommended so they tried to charge me $40 extra. when I refused she had to go talk to the doctor. That was one less thing to do my bill should of been alot cheeper. the hundred was all I was paying not a penny more. I won't go back. Just because you recommend something don't mean I have to do it or get charged more.!

Dr Wilcox and her staff always do their best to fit our animals in for an appointment when needed. Every year, Dr Wilcox comes to our home to vaccinate all our dogs. Appreciate everything they do for our pets. Highly recommend !!!

My puppy has been at this vet for three over nights, and i haven’t gotten a call from them like they said they would in two days. I’ve left two voicemails, and have called multiple times. I would never let anyone come here. My puppy could be dead and i would not know it. Very angry with the vet, and the assistants. Now I’m going to have to make a decision to risk surgery, or say goodbye to my puppy. We called a different vet that is on vacation and he answered our phone call and sounded more concerned than these people ever have. This clinic will never see us again.

Louisburg Animal Clinic accepts business from the City of Louisburg for the confiscation of dogs. Background information-My pet Kipling was taken on a walk in the evening after sunset by my grandchildren. Kipling was on a retractable leash, which failed to latch and he ran up to a girl riding a scooter spooking the girl, which spooked Kipling and he bit her. The next day the police were notified and my pet was taken to Louisburg Animal Clinic for holding. Kipling was deemed a vicious dog by the city prosecutor and municipal court judge during a preliminary court appearance. The prosecutor told me that I could have plead guilty and have Kipling killed at the vet. I visited Kipling several times during his stay at Louisburg Animal Clinic and he showed no signs of aggression during his containment. I will admit that the staff, especially Stephanie, was very helpful and friendly. I never met with the veterinarian or received any communication from her on how Kipling was doing. I contacted the city about getting a report from Louisburg Animal Clinic and was told that the veterinarian at Louisburg Animal Clinic would go against Kipling. I was told by others that the city of Louisburg is known for having dogs killed when a complaint is made. Being on a fixed income and already racking up bills of over $600, not including court costs, I made the hard decision to have Kipling destroyed. This caused a lot of emotion and tears with my grandchildren ages 9-17. I don't believe that this should fit their business model and I recommend that Louisburg Animal Clinic no longer accept confiscated pets from the City of Louisburg.
