I had to pull out my inner Karen and let the manager or whoever know not to send someone to try to pry someone's identity from them. I was fascinated and pleased to see there was a fresh produce section. Let an employee know (while looking like a happy tourist because I basically was) that I wanted to take a picture because I'd never seen that before in a Dollar General.I go about shopping and minutes later the employee comes up to me wanting to know who I'm with. All serious. I'm like...what? She says her manager sent her to find out who I work for. I told her something along the lines of that not being normal. When she persisted wanting to know who I'm with I told her I was a shopper. She walked away empty handed. I saw her with the manager lady and basically let her know that wasn't proper behavior. She said she'd need to know in case I was an auditor.I don't exactly know much about their auditors, but maybe customer interaction is a factor and that was a bad idea either way?I started off happy because I was easily entertained by things like new features in a common store and they had to ruin my mood like that. Smh

Only reason I'm giving it a 4 star is because of the friendly workers but the store is usually a BIG mess you can barely get down any of the aisles.

I am 67 years old and had trouble with the express checkout. I paid finally and took my groceries home. About 6 hrs later I couldn't find my wallet. I looked everywhere. I called Kingman Dollar General asked if the found my wallet? The manager said yes it is here in our safe. Thank goodness there are honest people working there. I really appreciate the fact that it was there with all contents in tactTHANK YOU DOLLAR GENERAL !!!!!!

They run a skeleton crew and the 2 people there have a lot of responsibility. I've only ran across 1 with a bad attitude. Most of the time there are boxes all over and shelves are empty. It's not the 2 working. They just haven't had time to unload and restock shelves. Give them a break.

Not all of these stores are nice. They can look pretty messy. The employees here do a good job of cleaning up the store. The prices are very reasonable especially for a small town. International Delight creamer is 3 dollars a bottle! That is the same price as Walmart! We pick up a lot of odds and ends here, and that makes life very convenient for us.

I think this store is pretty clean. I often find it difficult to find prices however the staff is helpful. I like several of the employees. There are a couple great ones. There is 1 woman that I avoid if I'm able. The few times I had no choice to go to her at the register I felt rushed and unappreciated. I accidentally grabbed a pair of socks without a tag. She told me she can't sell them to me without a tag. I told her 4 times I would go get another pack that had a tag but she frusterated continued to ring me up. I had to sternly tell her to wait while I grabbed the socks. The first time I met her I tried to make small talk. She was very short. I was like Hi how are you doing today? Her response was is that all you need 23.50 is you total. I was like damn.... No hello? Nothing? Not trying to nit pick but she is like that with everyone. I get she's elderly maybe close to 80 but a smile and a hello goes a long way. I think Tyler is awesome. Friendly, efficient and eager to help.

You can easily find what you are looking for or take your time and browse the aisles you may find something you've never seen before. Most of the staff is friendly and willing to help you. They don't have a clothing section anymore but they still have some clothes. They have a wide variety of food items as well.

The 2 employees working this evening were SO helpful; they answered my questions about prices & helped me find the items I was looking for. I was able to get everything on my list in a short amount of time, with their help. What good workers they are!

Stop only if it's a necessity. Store is difficult to get around in. Boxes on carts blocking isles every time I've been in there. One of those times I had my 3yo granddaughter with me and she needed to use the rest room. We found it locked and a sign "ask clerk for key"; we couldn't find a clerk and couldn't get checked out either. So we left our stuff.

Where else is there to shop in this one-horse-town?Oooh, and, and, their self checkout works. ...just dont be tricked into putting your phone number in. It will cause a glitch in the matrix and you will be frozen in time. ..at least until an employee helps you... but, if it has to get down to that, what good is it to self checkout anyway? So...moral of that story. Use coupons?-Use a cashier.That is all

How a store offering Western Union services can not have $50 available to pay out is beyond me, a store should have at least that to do their daily transactions. And to be completely unwilling to assist someone in need by even helping find an alternative Western Union location - I'm not impressed. My daughter was out of fuel, 1200 miles from home with her CC not working and I Western Union'd her funds to get fuel and this was unfortunately the closest store.

Easy setup. Walked in was able to find my products. Didn't bump into any crazy people lol like you would at Walmart. Staff was more than willing to help me.

The last few times I have been in this Dollar General store. The isles have had freight still on shipping boats or rolltainers. Shelves are somewhat bare. Staff is not friendly, or thank the person for shopping there.

I like Dollar General. I can save on paper products. They have good dairy products and good vanilla ice cream. Of course I like vanilla ice cream Customer service is good .They also have fresh produce and I like that alot . Good place. Yo Yo

The Isles are were full of boxes it's pretty hard to get down since I'm in a wheelchair. So my opinion is get things into where it goes. Then DG can haveroom for some customers in your store.

I get all my baggies, garbage bags, paper plates, paper towels, and toilet paper. I also get my bananas for 4lbs for a dollar because our groceries in the only grocery store within 45miles of any other town has there prices jacked up higher than most so I try not to trade with them.

How is a store that says they are open until 10 pm going to be closed at 9:48 pm. That's ridiculous. The website says it was still open and I walked the whole way there just to find it's closed. They don't even answer the phone!

The older women who works there is so rude. It happens every time I go in there. She acts like it's a problem to wait on anyone. I try to never use the dollar store, if I don't have to just because of her.

if you are handicapped and in a wheelchair it is very difficult to get around the aisles are very tight things are so high you can't reach nothing and trying to find somebody to help is almost impossible and they will not clean the ice off the handicap spots to allow a wheelchair to access the store

This store is stuffed.. aisle's packed, truck came and merchandise in box's along the whole south side , can't access products.
