Small local grocery. Friendly staff. Clean. Prices were very reasonable. I expected it to be noticeably more expensive but all in all it really wasn't. The butcher staff was extremely helpful. Make sure you try the "famous" sausage!

This is the best place to get your meat its cut how you want it freshly packaged very nice pleasant group of people. Wont go anywhere else for my meats.

Great store and GREAT service! I went into the store looking for toilet paper but had a hard time finding it. A employee, high school age (I believe his name was Isaac), was very friendly and helped me find where the toilet paper was located. Good job Isaac! Keep up the good work!!

Has nearly everything you need to enjoy simple small town living.Senior day is Wednesday. Come in for the butcher shop and handmade sausage and leave with a little more joy knowing you got good deals.

Love the people but not so much the prices. But when you live in a small town you get what you can. I love love love the ham loaf. I mix it with ground beef to make the perfect meatball or loaf

This is a terrific small town grocery store, very convenient, right in the downtown area. They have the best meat department in the area, and even restaurants from other towns shop there to buy meat. Dales makes their own sausage, and the quality is very high.

They make absolutely the best smoked sausage we've ever tasted. Got acquainted with them 30 years ago when they had their Sausage Crafters food trailer in Salina. Split a 1/4 pound link of the sausage for grilling, place on a whole wheat bun, top with Granny's Mustard and Frank's Kraut and you have a meal fit for a king, or a K-State Tailgate.

Its a great mom and pop grocery store. I love the deli and meat market there smoked sausage is a Hillsboro staple. Dale is great if he don't have it he will get it for you.

I usually like the meat department, however this time I stood there waiting at least 10 minutes. They were there and saw me just didn't come help.... I gave up and some guy they knew walked up and they took care of him right away

Great small town market with THE BEST German influenced sausage in the midwest. Also, check out the Schaeffler House museum while there and dont forget to pick up some peppernuts for the holidays while at Dale's.
