traveling through, I stopped her to get a little rest. The room was pretty dirty. The TV didn't work. The gentleman working the front counter seemed pretty sketchy, particularly when he was being dishonest to me about a few other issues with the room. After not getting much rest due to the dirty feeling this place gave me I left early next morning, then notice the fellow up front charged me $25 more than he said he was charging me when looking at me bank account. I called him talk to him about it and he was just rambling all over the place clearly lying and making up excuses for just simply charging more than he had said. Yeah pretty disappointing for what should have just been a simple exchange of money for a room

Toilet clogged. Phone didn't work. Batteries were dead in the remote control for the t.v. But, nice bathroom and shower. Bed was clean and room was comfortable. Dog friendly, which was important to us not to charge too much for the pet on top of the room.Walkability: Great restaurant next door.

Stayed here 2 weeks ago. Got up in the morning no hot water so no shower. Talked with the office person, said he would talk to management and that I would get a 50 % discount. Still have not gotten refund, just a runaround. I Called there yesterday and his answer was "need to talk to management". I would not recommend this place. Very high priced and totally not worth it.

I generally avoid small strip motels when traveling for work but options in this area very slim! Was pleasantly surprised here! Young man at front desk very nice and accommodating, room was clean - cleaner than I expected! Bed was comfortable and there were no bugs or rodents of any kind! Shower was newer and the water was hot the pressure was great! The area was very quiet none of the usual comings and goings of this type of mote at all! If I was to pass through this area I would definitely stay here again!

I had room 124It was clean! (the floor didn’t turn my feet black!!) and all the door Lock’s worked nicely !!The bathroom was all stone and very nice!The mattress was firm but I like them that way the pillows were very solid which usually gives me a neck and headache but they didn’t.Over all a nice nights sleep

What a nice surprise! The manager, Smit, was very kind and generous. The Inn was clean and stocked, had decent amenities, and was cozy inside. Water was hot, room smell was fresh and clean without a hint of smoke, and the wi-fi was fast. Even the parking lot was clean, if you can get past the state of disrepair that it's in.The only suggestion I could think to make would be a bit of landscaping work. An afternoon or two with a shovel, wheelbarrow, and some flowers would make this place much more appealing to passers-by.Good luck Smit!Rooms: Very clean and odor freeSafety: Very safe town with kind people all around

My roommate and I came to Greensburg KS with no intention of spending the night, however we found ourselves in the position to do so and we wound up at the Greensburg Inn. The gentleman at the desk was nice and the room was clean and fitted our needs. If I ever found myself in this area again I would stay here without a doubt! It was safe quiet and clean

Pros: My room was fairly clean, somewhat updated.Cons: Found 3 dead cockroaches (at least they were dead!), could only watch TV from a very uncomfortable futon. I discovered in the morning that the room had NO smoke alarm--it was removed! Some holes in the walls. My entry door needs planed, as it stuck so bad when closing and opening that I nearly fell trying to push it open! $92 for me and my dog? Nope.

Only thing good about this place is the location. Tried to charge me 20+ for a different room because he said they didnt have a room available when it already booked it online. Then said they have a room with no TV, but everything else worked. So I took it. The heater didn't work, just pushed out cold air, even at 90degrees. It got to 25 last night. Thank God we had extra blankets in the car.

You know I read the reviews. We found this hotel clean, everything working, plenty of channels on the TV and a very nice host to check us in. Is it a new hotel? No, but much cheaper and perfect for us. We like being able to back up to our door to unload and just a short walk for a very nice breakfast. This from the author of "The Reckoning of Rance," now out on Amazon.

DO NOT STAY HERE!Took an entire team to stay here overnight. Three days prior to our stay, I read reviews about bed bugs. I asked the manager if this was still a problem, he assured me that that the rooms were clean and that the rooms had been inspected and passed the inspection. Did mention they had a problem last year with bed bugs. Evidentially it’s still a problem. Had numerous players get bitten by bed bugs, the rooms were not unsanitary, dirty blankets, dirty towels, dirty toilets.

If I could give an establishment a NEGATIVE score I would! Where do I start? Advertised price $45 but we had 3 adults so price jumped to $80 per night! There are only two hotels in town and the other was booked. NO CHOICE. Had to stay.The toilet in the room did not work. Broken flush lever and broken seat. Only 2 electrical outlets worked in the entire room. It was a smoking room but the smoke detector was REMOVED. The lamps are ragged. It had an awful smell. When all of this was addressed with the owner, he did not care. He's aware of the poor quality. I feel he's enjoying the fact that consumer's have little choice in that town.For the love of all that is holy, DO NOT STAY at Greensburg Inn.

Only a one-star hotel? No way! I stayed here for ten days in 1998 when my Chevy C20 blew an engine, and I had a new one put in down the street at the NAPA mechanic shop. They really took care of me here. Unfortunately, it was the end of December, which is not the pleasant time to visit Greensburg. I'm so pleased this place survived the massive EF5 tornado. If the proprietors remember me ... I remember you too! Thanks for the pleasant stay.

I don't like giving bad reviews but it's required here. I will say, the bed and pillows were comfy enough, the a/c worked, and the fridge and microwave looked like they worked. That said, the room was a mess and so was the bed. No critters but that was genuinely surprising considering it looked like they never changed the linens. The sheets and pillow cases were dirtier than the ones I've had in my home for years and there were crumbs on the bed. The room was dilapidated and bare. The bathroom was stained and strangely put together but at least the water was hot. I wouldn't stay here again unless I absolutely needed to

Beds were comfortable, door was sketchy which front desk knew, explained if doesn't open jiggle handle and pull door up. Hopefully our pay for our stay will fix that issue. I like to feel secure.

Not the cleanest. Stains on the wall and sheets. Mold in shower. Dead flys on the air conditioner unit. Only one channel on the TV, TNT. Tried to watch the local news. Grabbed the remote turned on TV. The one channel came on. Tried to change channels, nothing. Adjusted volume worked well. Even tried to change channels on the TV itself, same results.

Clean bedding is about all I can say was good about this place. Shower curtain hung with wire to a nail. No door knob on the bathroom door. So much dirt and stains on the wall and door frame makes you wonder what it was. Other rooms had exposed wires, the ice machine room had I think mold. And it was expensive for this mess!

It's the pillows that need the most attention. I had difficulty feeling comfortable with what is there. Otherwise it was good. It was clean, roomy and had lots of hot water. Everything seemed to work okay. I even think the water tasted great--maybe because of the Big Well? If I brought a better pillow or could get one at the front desk, I would want to stay there again. :)

Quoted one rate, charged a higher one. Ice maker did not work, heater was either on or off despite where you set it. Spend another 20 bucks and go to the best western. On the plus side , the room was clean.
