The employees were ok, the store was clean and well stocked. Being in a rural setting, their prices are higher than the well-known big box store, but that's to be expected. When you have to travel twice the mileage to the big box and your needs are minimal, it's well worth a trip there in between a monthly visit to the big store.

Always friendly service and a clean store. Ray and William are both excellent staffers, willing to help old ladies out with their groceries.Deli is very good and the produce section is well-stocked and produce is fresh!

Cute little hometown grocery store. The cashiers could use a lesson or two in customer service. Never friendly, I've experienced them eating more than once at the register. So gross! 🙄 If you're going to allow such rudeness, open a self checkout line because I'd rather do it myself. The people in the deli are always super friendly and helpful.

Local grocer and they do buy some veggies from local farmers. Prices are a bit high on a few things but then again is a local grocer and only one around without driving 22 to 25 miles. They do run a lot of specials so that helps with the costs.

I always feel welcome when I'm go in, the employees are always friendly and helpful even on grueling days. My only problem with the store are the prices, many things i buy are overpriced so I do have to go to Dollar General or go out of town to Walmart. I'd be rather support local businesses but I can't justify the extra costs.

Employees are usually very good at helping find products. Their service is prompt and attention to detail is usually spot on.. Carry outs are diligent in quick about their work.. Great smiling home town grocery store..

There was no help . The cashier had to put the groceries in the sacks. She told me help was coming. It did not come. I put my groceries in the basket and took them to my car. If I am going to do this, maybe prices should be lowered. I do like shopping at this store, though.

All bill the new manager is good can my paying customers over respecting with smiles and greet greetings from a good example from one person at spread like a disease for the good I hope all these companies like Walmart and Pete's it took a while but Gene W is coming up fast or Riley's already day over to new manager and assistant manager the woman someday you'll hook take over the store from the manager but you have to earn it and she's flying colors if my opinion she really knows her stuff

This store especially at night is full of high school kids who are allowed to run free to do what they want. Several times they are not there to carry out, instead it takes 5 of them to fill the pop aisle up. And during this time of covid none of them where masks or practice any care.

G&W is the only grocery store in Fredonia KS. The store is small but they do have a deli to get sliced meats and fried chicken. The prices are about the same as other small town grocery stores. The meat department is at the back of the store and are reasonably priced. Produce selection is minimal but have the normal fruits and vegetables.

Small Town grocery store. Prices are responsible. Selection is not huge but they pretty much have everything you need. Plenty of parking. Store is clean and in good maintenance.

G&W is OK as far as stores go; however they are kind of high in their pricing on many of their every day needs. Since it's our only actual grocery store they can charge what they want because though a person could drive approximately 30 miles west or south to shop at the Big chain super center, many just don't want to drive that far for a package of hamburger or milk.

the produce section is WONDERFUL!, unlike it's neighboring town, I give this GW a high five for keeping their produce looking so lucious. Could stand to use a little more room in the isles, some are so tight you can't get thru and the locals like to visit while shopping so that makes it harder.
