The store is in absolutely horrible conditions. It looks like an episode of hoarders if they made a "Business Edition". The backroom is so full of stock in boxes that there is literally about 5% open floor space that are very narrow paths to the back door, and a very small corner that's a poor attempt at a makeshift office. And the sales floor isn't any better. It literally looks like a bunch of unsupervised preschool aged kids were cut loose to ransack the entire store. Random product all over the floor in all the aisles, just thrown everywhere. Bad, bad, all bad.

Nasty trash all over floors and shelves..can't get to anything on the shelves because boxes are piled up ..nothing is neat all items just thrown everywhere and did I mention cashier is rude ...will not be returning ..needs something done in this place

Dollar Tree is the sh$t. Everything is a dollar unlike Dollar General. The staff keeps it clean and well stocked. My favorite juice that I pay 4 bucks for at Wallyworld is a dollar, every thing is a dollar LOL. And some other things are 4 for a dollar, like their seed packets I just saw.And did you know that you can order any amount of things from their web site and have it delivered to the store ready for it to pick up at no extra charge!Pic of my juice that's a dollar...

The hours listed on Google are absolutely NOT correct. Doesn't seem to matter how early we get in to Emporia, this store is always closed. Not sure how they have managed to stay in business. Today I went and the store closed earlier than usual, with customers waiting at the doors. Five minutes after I arrived, thinking maybe they'd gone for a meal break, three employees came walking out and they quickly locked the doors behind them. Not even 2:30pm on a Tuesday.

This place is an absolute disaster. I feel sorry for the employees because obviously they need more help. Trash and broken items in the floor and boxes full of merchandise scattered everywhere.

This store is not open as listed on website. They are closed Sunday. Open 9 to 5 on Monday and Wednesday and 9 to 2 Tuesday. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Unless they have hired new people. Inconvenient when you come in out of town or make a run from the hotel to grab something affordable that's needed.

Friendly staff with a large variety of items to choose from. Plenty of space to browse around and find what you are looking for and everything is in stock. Fast checkout with staff always available. Prime easy to find location with plenty of parking.One star off for some items being $1 but would be cheaper at other stores but could trick someone into buying it thinking it's just a dollar. So make sure you comparison shop if your looking for a deal and not convenience. Not a negative of this store in particular but as a review of Dollar Tree as a whole.

Everything in this store is a dollar or less. You need to pay attention to the sizes and amounts of the items to be sure you are actually getting a good deal. Sometimes paying 30 or 40 cents elsware is the better bargin. Store is usually clean and orderly. Sometimes the restrooms get trashed and can be a bit grim.

This place makes it own hours(sometimes closing at 2:30 in the afternoon, it is understaffed because management won't hire day time help, there's big stains on the floor and sometimes you can't get down an isle for the boxes setting around with no one emptying them, it can also take up to 20 minutes to checkout because the manager and his spouse are the only ones working.

The only good thing here was cashier, she was very polite to us and made us feel welcome. Store was a complete mess and the manager (I’m assuming) was very rude to my family. Overall disappointed in this store and I won’t be going back anytime soon!

This Dollar Tree had a large large variety of items a lot of really neat unique items everything could imagine for party materials used set up to have children's parties and all kinds of different themes they had helium balloons they had potting soils they had all kinds of gift some things you can put in birthday packages they had a wide variety of food treats snacks candy Easter stuff this place is a wonderful place and everything is $1 here the parking was good the bathroom was clean so are the aisles I would I would suggest it to anyone

Not worth going there or even working there. The store manager, Meredith, is the worst and severely needs to be looked into. Stealing money out of employees checks and changing their hours. Accused people of steal with no proof. She can't even run the store correctly and vacuum or clean the bathroom. She goes on and on about how much she hates the company on Facebook. She isn't good with customers.

They should have a sign board saying "Kids not welcome". Went there with my 2 year old, some balloons were lying on the floor, she picked up a couple, along came a lady presumably the manager breathing fire through both nostrils and pretty much ordered us out of the place, will never step foot there again.

Terrible customer service. A lady forgot her checkbook and the whole check out line, six people, waited while she went to get it in her car. At the same time, four Dollar Tree employees, other than the waiting cashier, stood off to the side talking to each other instead of opening up a second register. Very poor customer service. Extremely disappointed.

The manager in the Emporia store is the most unaccommodating person I have ever met on my life. I have witnessed her being rude and nasty to other customers.

I love dollar tree but the guy that was checking people out was horrible....he had a mile long line the whole time I was n the store...he would literally STOP scanning items and was talking to people that he was ringing up.....I couldnt believe it...

I always buy more then planned when I go to Dollar tree. They had several 4 for a dollar specials and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Thanks for coming to Emporia!

CHILDREN ARE NOT WELCOME HERE. They have a disgustingly rude employee working in the evenings that yells at children. Then she goes to the register to gossip about shoppers with the cashier thinking that the customers aren't listening. Maybe they need training on how to treat shoppers. Couldn't see her name tag but I will go back to find out her name and update this review.

Clean store cashiers register computer crashed today so I had to wait 20 minutes for them to fix it,otherwise a good store.
