My daughter and I were there on July 8th 2023. We were only swinging by to say we rode our motorcycle through Kansas on a 9,000 mile ride across the US and back. Unfortunately, we picked up a large spike that pierced our coolant reservoir and we were stuck there until we could figure out a repair for it and get back on the road. Not only was the young lady working there very friendly and helpful, but the entire community there was super nice and helpful as well. Initially a guy that was working (some type of construction) offered me some duct tape that I was looking to buy in the store, not just a couple strips, but an entire roll! He handed to me and left. Very nice, then we had a guy and his grandkids come in for gas and they asked if they could help and I said I was trying to figure out something to seal up the hole so he said he would go home and be back. Then another guy swung by for gas and did the same thing. The first guy came back with some flex seal spray, but I was not sure that would work. He also brought both my daughter and I several iced bottles of water. VERY AWESOME as it was high 80's that day. Then the second guy came back with some JB Weld for plastics and that was definitely what I wanted to use. This town was so helpful and friendly that my daughter named them the Canadians of the U.S. While I was not happy to have had to repair the bike on the road like this and kill several hours, this was definitely the place to break down as the people there are the best. Its Friday July 3rd at 6:30pm and the lady working made FRESH coffee! It was made when I walked in, but I just appreciated it so much. Most places leave it sitting all day. Also I didn't get the workers name, but she is an awesome employee! She was so helpful and polite! I would also like to add how clean it is!
