Justin is fantastic! He has a special way of coming in and taking time to bond with our dogs and cats. It instantly makes them calm. I always enjoy our conversations too. His staff is very friendly. I recently found myself in urgent need of veterinary care for my seven-month-old kitten, Sunny, after his condition rapidly declined one morning. Sunny, an outdoor cat, began showing allergy-like symptoms including facial swelling and severe respiratory issues, indicative of a possible airway obstruction. After our regular vet had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, Animal Care Center was the only clinic in town that could take Sunny in immediately, a gesture for which I am immensely grateful. Upon arrival, we were informed by the veterinarian that Sunny was infested with fleas—a surprising diagnosis given his subsequent clean bill of health in that regard—and needed immediate treatment, including IV fluids, flea treatment, routine lab, and labs to rule out terminal illnesses. The care plan seemed thorough, with promises of updates throughout the day. However, the communication fell short, prompting me to call in the afternoon for an update, only to learn he was ready to be picked up.The treatment billed at $336 included a physical exam, oxygen therapy, flea treatments, a leukemia test, subcutaneous fluid administration, and an antibiotic injection. While the veterinarian assured us Sunny didn't have a terminal illness and he had the antibiotic injection effective for two weeks, we were left with concerns regarding his persistent swelling and breathing issues. Unfortunately, Sunny's condition did not improve; he remained weak, shaky, and refused food or drink. We asked how long we should wait until we see improvement, and the vet said a week. Seeking a second opinion, we were informed by another clinic that his blood sugar was 32, requiring further IV fluids, overnight care, and additional treatments for his swelling and respiratory distress.While I am thankful for Animal Care Center's immediate response to our emergency, the experience left us with mixed feelings. The initial relief and gratitude were overshadowed by concerns over the diagnosis and treatment effectiveness, especially considering the discrepancy regarding the flea infestation and the lingering health issues that were not addressed adequately. We are hopeful for Sunny's recovery and appreciate all veterinary efforts in his ongoing treatment.

Always had great luck with Dr. Parsons. He has cared for several of our pets from puppy stage through passing away. He's kind and patient and really knows his stuff. The whole staff is excited to see my grumpy cairn terrier when he comes in for his nail trims, even though he's a big pain.

My Boston Terrier spent a weekend here and had a blast playing with other dogs and humans. I will definitely be using for dog sitting when I'm on future trips. Also has convenient Sunday pickup times, unlike many other pet resorts.

Dr Parsons is wonderful. He was not timid or fearful of my old man dog acting like a jerk. He explained to me that his behavior is comparative to a toddler. He throws a fit and gets his way 99% of the time.I am so glad I found this office. I know Checkers will be in great hands when I board him. Everyone at this office was so kind and friendly.Update: Dr Parsons, is hands down the best veterinarian I've had for my dog. I've lived in three states, and had several different vets. He just knows how to handle old curmudgeon Boston terriers. I'm so glad I found this practice. The entire staff is wonderful. The boarding is fun for Checkers and he loves daycare when he visits. Thank you for helping me keep my little old man healthy!

My Dane puppy (5 months) loves when he stays in their boarding facility! They are amazing and I would not take him anywhere else. Plus one of their employees is my long time best friends and I know that he will always be taken care of in the best way possible when I know my trust in my friends abilities is 1000%. These guys were excellent. We were camping and not near our regular Vet when we noticed a hot spot starting on our dogs face. We knew we needed to get this taken care of right away before it became huge. So we called and they got us right in! Doctor and staff were very friendly and prices were more than reasonable!!! Wish they weren't so far from home or we would make them our regular Vet. Highly recommend them!!!!!

They took very good care of my cat, Momma. She had to stay multiple nights and they let me come visit her, which I greatly appreciated. It was very obvious the love they have for their job and the animals that come through their doors.To be more helpful… They are a very affordable clinic, aren’t pushy, and open on Saturday.

I was blown away by the service. I have never ever seen a vet get down on the floor at the pets level. Dr. Parsons did just that he was amazing was Sam. I’ve always had to put my pet up on the table and the way the vet was with Sam absolutely incredible top notch in my book

Y'alls animal clinic, FAR Outweighs All other animal clinics I have taken my Fur Babies to! The Compassionate & Excellent Care, my Fur baby Niko & I had while visiting for the very first time, was the Best experience Niko & I will Never forget! Although it wasn't under the best circumstances, due to my baby Niko being sick & I was Extremely worried about Niko, but the whole time during our visit, Niko & I was reassured & was shown such Compassion & Heart felt Care, by Dr Justin, the Kind receptionist, & the Veterinarian Assistant, it made Niko & I feel at ease that he was in Great hands.To top it off, Justin the Veterinarian did an Amazing Job, taking all the time it took to carefully listen to everything I was describing, as to all the symptoms Niko was having & all my worries & Concerns. Justin also did an Amazing Job, to thoroughly & carefully exam my baby Niko to get an overall gist of what was going on with my baby Niko. After the exam, Justin explained everything in Complete detail as to what was wrong with Niko & he answered all my questions & worries.Justin's Wonderful expertise & recommended treatment for Niko, didn't cost me an arm & a leg. Since our visit to the clinic & keeping Niko on his treatment, recommended by Dr. Justin, Niko has improved significantly & is about 90% much better. He is pretty much back to his normal, happy, bouncy, energetic self again. 😊😊🐕🐾 This Amazing Animal Clinic is now Niko & I's new home away from home & are Definitely, Here to Stay! We love taking our dogs to El Dorado Animal Care Center! Dr. Parsons is great and really takes the time to answer all of our questions. You can tell he really enjoys seeing our babies. The rest of his staff is awesome! We feel comfortable leaving our dogs at their resort for boarding knowing the staff will love on them and keep them safe and entertained.

I had my cat Roo fixed on Friday, today is now Monday. He is healing great and has had no complications! Both of my Cats are taken care of here, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I drive 40 minutes just for this vet, because he is so kind and truly goes above and beyond and so does all of the staff! 100% recommend!

They did a good job thoroughly vaccinating my dog. He is normally a tender baby and they got two shots done without him knowing it. He figured out that he was getting shots by his 3rd vaccine and started dodging the vet who got my dog vaccinated and only the final needle came out did my dog yelp. Very skilled vet. My dog usually yelps for each shot.
