I have always enjoyed going to this location, however when I entered the store, a clerk called out, "big dog alert!". I have a fully trained service dog that helps me with balance issues. He goes everywhere with me and has never caused any problems. I laughed it off and continued shopping. At one point, I needed help to find something and asked a different clerk and she was very rude in her speech and behavior. I was shocked to say the least. I will go to the other store location in Derby from now on. No one there has ever been as overtly rude as these ladies were today.

This store is by far the most clean and stocked better than any other Dollar Tree I have been in, I will drive to this store before I will shop at any store in Wichita!!!

Good selection, well organized and stocked, and an overall good experience. The staff is helpful and friendly. I’d go back and recommend. The only con is that it’s pretty small inside and the aisle feel really tight.

The dollar tree in derby is very nice. The manager Nancy is friendly. She does a great job maintaining a clean, well stocked store. The store has a wide variety of products. All of her staff are exception with their customer service. This is the dollar tree in derby, Kansas .

Am on a retirees budget now so it's important to get real value for my $$$! But I've shopped there long before retiring... the selection is great but the employees are even better! Always eager to help (I'm not very tall & @ 68, probably should not be climbing the shelves myself). Parking in never a problem, the store is on the end of the little mall & the lot wraps around!

Actually not a bad location in my opinionl. The only things I've ever come to any Dollar Tree for is party supply items/last minute holiday decorations/wrapping, so I guess keep that in mind, I have zero idea what the grocery/household supply quality is at all. This location is generally pretty clean, and the people have never been unpleasant. Small store, in and back out quick, no problem.

The cashier that was working today paid for my items. My card was declined twice and he didn't even hesitate and said here let me pay. My heart is overflowing from his kindness you don't find many people out there like that. Thank you Ethan for your kindness you don't know how much that meant. I will pay it forward.

Very nice workers.. but it's not the super dollar tree.. no 3 and 5 dear items. But it's clean and has a very big selection.

Very busy, but customers still in good spirits. The employees, not so much. After seeing what they have to deal with ( a really obnoxious customer) I really felt for them. But still, if they smile and be upbeat, they will show obnoxious people that they won't tick them off and believe it or not they will feel better for it. All in all, good service. The place needed to be organized.

I quite love dollar tree, this one is always well organized. I'm there decently often for it is a great place to find things 5o use for something else! Fun fact they have caulking, but only acrylic and I am looking for the silicon kind

They have a great selection and more to pick from than the stores in Texas also it was cleaner.

This is by far the best Dollar Tree I have visited in Wichita/Derby area. They expanded the store into next door shop when it closed for more space, but seems like they might need to expand once more due to so much stock on floor. Seems over crowded with merchandise, but is VERY CLEAN and usually pretty WELL STOCKED. They could work on greeting all the guests and cleaning outside of doors around sidewalk due to it being dirty with cigarettes and gum. Plus having a handicap button on doors would help older customers. Would give 4/5 stars, but this really is the best location around. Staff usually friendly and has 3-5 workers on average, they could have more cashiers during the day to help long lines. Manager has worked there a long time, and sometimes even cracks a joke with you! Keep focusing on your product to shelf, and improve cleanliness/organization and customer service a little more and this place will be around for a long time to come!

I can always stop by and get what I need for party decorations, cards, snacks, many items and only for a dollar for each item! It is worth your visit! Employees are the best! I spoke with the manager in October, 2015 about seasonal help and just may help out this coming holiday season.

Great selection of items, and the staff has always been very friendly. My kids are young and tend to go crazy here...it’s they’re favorite store! I think it says a lot when my 3 and 6 year old beg to go to the Dollar Store to see if we can find anything to get creative with!We’ve been lucky enough to find name brand items like Gatorade and yogurt pouches, and the craft section can not be beaten!This if our go to store for ceramic and glass dishes because they’re perfect for diy gifts. The homeschooling materials are amazing!! I have loved being able to find such a variety of items for my kids. One thing, though, is that the homeschool items will only be helpful thru 5th grade.I do wish the parking lot was a bit larger. It is shared with so many other businesses that it’s constantly crowded, and we have had a few close run-ins with drivers speeding thru or not looking out for pedestrians.They even re-opened quickly after a car ran into a column and did structural damage! Thank goodness!

The manager of this store is horrible! I didn't have a personal experience but I've witnessed the wrath this manager shells out on two separate visits. One was to a peer employee, whom she talked to like the employee was the scum on the bottom of her shoe, and one to an elderly customer who was only trying to get something off a shelf. I will drive to Wichita before I ever go back in this store. Unless you get a new manager.

This location is so well stocked and well maintained. Shopping at some locations is tough because it's disorganized and not well kept, but this place is a pleasure.

Great place for stocking stuffers. Easy to impulse buy and overspend. Lots of products are smaller sized than in other stores, may not really be a bargain.
