My first visit was to get my dog spayed. Dr. Johnson did a excellent job on the incision so I'm sure he did alright on the inside. I was very pleased with the work he did. Was the best costing vet I found in our area. As her healing it will be a week this Wednesday on the 31st and no signs of redness. She was back to herself by Friday being the goofy dog she is. Thank Winthrop vet office.

They have been our vet for our dogs & cats for several years. Wouldn't go anywhere else and I gladly make the 30 mile drive to the Clinic for our animals. You cannot beat their skill, prices and they are always helpful and friendly.

You just can not say enough good things about this Vet clinic. I had to put my old dog to sleep today, she was 15 years old and from the start of getting my puppy to the end Winthrop vet clinic was there. At the end of my dog's life they showed me absolutely every ounce of empathy and did not only put my dog to sleep peacefully, but we're so kind as to ask me lots of questions about her afterwards and tell me how to help my other dog through the grieving she might go through as a result of losing the older dog.For those who do not know this, this is a psychology treatment for loss.I know because I'm a psych major and I really appreciated not only the end of life care for my puppy which was just above and beyond but the care of my feelings as an individual. I drove almost an hour to get to them and refer them to everyone I know. Thank you beyond every ounce of my being for the kindness you guys showed me.

Got my cat shots and ears checked out plus good flea treatment for under 100.00. quick appointment as well. I would recommend this place if asked for a good Vet.

So after talking with a friend who had services done by the clinic on both her horses and dogs in the past, I decided to call at 7am on a Wednesday morning (which is surgery day) to see if they could fit my cat in to be neutered and de-clawed. To my surprise the call was answered (very cheerfully I may add) by the on call Veterinarian (who at the time was enroute to a customers home). He was very nice and told me to call the clinic when it opens at 730am and ask if they could squeeze him in that day. The staff member I spoke to was very understanding and friendly. She put me on a brief hold to speak to a Dr. about my situation, shortly after came back asking me several questions about my cat, and told me to bring him in for surgery that morning. Both procedures went well and due to being de-clawed, he would be staying overnight. Thursday mid-morning I got a call from the clinic that one paw wasn't clotting well and they were going back in to re-suture it. Mid-afternoon the Veterinarian called, it had gone well and for safe measure they would keep him overnight. Friday morning the clinic called, Miles was doing well, they had given him antibiotics as a booster to help clear up the cold in his eyes and sniffles he had. Miles is almost back to his normal self. I would recommend the Clinic for the services he received and everyone was very caring. Having no front claws, Miles is cautious walking around, but is doing great - and waiting for a much needed bath...I'm very satisfied with the cost of services and the treatment I received. Everyone at the clinic was very Friendly, Helpful and Knowledgible.

Easy stop, good food. Almost every table was dirty at 230pm. Unacceptable. Also an employee was arguing with her boyfriend our entire visit...pushing her baby in a stroller.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!! I took my dog in for a skin irritation and they ended up KILLING my dog! They gave her such a huge dose of a steroid that it gave her pancreatitis, diabetes, and liver failure! Had to take her to 2 different specialists and she passed away at an emergency vet after being on support fighting for her life for 2 weeks and thousands of dollars later. She had organ failure and blood clots. If I would have known they were going to give my 48-pound blue heeler such a huge dose of a steroid that NO vets give anymore, I would have ran the other way! If you love your pets, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE!

I loaded a load of in-milk Holstein cows (38 head in total) out of South Eastern Iowa that Dr Schulte had prepared processed and cleared for Canada like he previously has other times for the client I was hauling for. I got to the border in North Portal ND the following day to find Dr Schulte hadn’t bother to tattoo not even one of the cows, I was rejected by the Canadian vet and made to take the load back too Rugby ND so they could be milked and tattooed, as they had been milked and rested at this spot the night before.I phoned the vet clinic and asked to speak with Dr Schulte but was told he was busy I asked for Dr Schulte to phone me back and explain what went wrong but he never did, regardless if Dr Schulte legitimately forgot to tattoo the cattle or wether Dr Schulte didn’t bother to do it thinking the Canadian vet wouldn’t offload and inspect the cattle, I think the vet clinic should foot the bill for the vet in North Dakota having to come out and do what Dr Schulte failed to do, plus they should also be made to pay for the additional nights feed water & milking in Rugby ND plus the additional wasted miles and time of me the trucker.I would love a reply when you find the time Winthrop Vet Clinic, we know this isn’t the first time we’ve had mistakes with cattle being exported into Canada through your firm, finally a big thanks to you Dr Schulte I was hopping to be reloaded and on my way back down tomorrow but after your stupid mistake I’m going to have to stay up here all weekend now so cheers
