Very cute, but very sketchy gas station. But a joyous place nonetheless. It seems like there was previously a restaurant attached but now the area looks to be an active warzone. The gas is always cheap, which is a plus. But the bathrooms… oh the bathrooms. They are hands down the filthiest restrooms I have ever stepped foot in. Every time I enter them, I am reminded of the simpler things in life and for a while, I feel calm. These bathrooms provide refuge from a cruel, uncaring world. They are disgusting. Absolutely vile. I love them so much. This gas station, and the bathrooms are the greatest places I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. Whenever I’m passing through I HAVE to stop here, no questions asked. This is the best gas station and if you have the opportunity to stop here, you must. Will definitely be back.

Cheap diesel! 50 cents less than the "other place" buuuuuut, it's very dirty, bathrooms are unpleasant and smelled of urine. My wife and kids were not happy with our stop. Diesel handle was filthy and pay at pump was non functional. Window washer was lying flat on the ground and washer fluid was basically dirty water and bug stew. If you already made a rest stop and just need fuel, then it's great. Otherwise I'd suggest going across the highway.

Best price on diesel between On interstate thirty five between the missouri state line and canada. This truck stop could use a complete makeover as it is definitely showing it's years. But if you are looking for the cheapest diesel with a small selection of the snacks and sodas you are in luck.

This used to be my all time favorite truck stop boondocks, sadly they were unable to compete with the flying hook across the way and sold last year. Jay bros bought the property and are in progress of re-opening. Selection is fairly limited right now, and no hot food available that I noticed. Resteraunt I believe is getting re-done. It is handicap accessible except for the stall in the men's restroom, which is old and pre-dates accessibility laws.I am glad they still have the dog area to let the pup run around a bit! And am hopeful for the future of this truck stop.

We pulled up and immediately knew this was a sketchy place. Tin from the building was flapping in the breeze like on a horror movie.Gas was cheap but the place is run down and not kept up. To fuel with diesel we had to leave a drivers license or credit card. There are signs all over about shoplifters will be prosecuted.The restaurant is closed.I would recommend driving to the Flying J on the otherside of the highway to fuel up.

diesel pumps are cheap but stop at 72$then you have to reenter your credit card. restaurant is no longer open, looks like maybe new owners the store wasn't stock very well the ceiling was collapsing, not my favorite experience

This is the old Boondocks truck stop, and while it's been a tough first year for the new owners, I have high hopes for what they do with the place! My kids love the candy aisle and I enjoy the conversation. I really hope they re-open the restaurant, and a festival and playground would seem fitting.

Only one pump working !said there going to open more 2 weeks ago but the new Indian owners are cheap .just like there fuel .xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxGood news 2 pumps open now stopped pumped 205 gallons back on the road 17 minutes

GREAT FOOD!GREAT SERVICE!!When i was a truck driver, i would always plan a stop for a bite to eat or take my ten hour break with possibly two of their awesome meals!! I'd also pick up some shirts or other stuff in their store.Being it's a mom n pop shop i always try to spend my money there if i needed something.Been off the road since '14 but i plan on stoppin by if i head up that way!

I havent been there since the place was called the Boondocks. It wasnt a fancy place but the food was great tasting and affordable. I always loved the retro look of the building but as others have mentioned, its was often dirty looking.I wish the new owners good luck

My husband got the chicken fried steak..it was phenomenal..he's been from Vegas to the east coast on a motorcycle and this was the best he's ever had! Hash browns and biscuits and gravey were great too..great service and very nice people. We will definitely be back.

This use to be The Boondocks. Obviously, it was sold to this great lady and her husband. They are in the middle of doing their thing to make it their's and it looks great so far!!!! This lady is a beautiful person inside and out. If you're going that way, stop in....show them some love by supporting them.

What more do you want?! Great place to just relax, country side all around, Safe area, good selection of snacks, QUALITY fuel for a good price (every time I've come it's been the best price withing 500 miles all directions), easy access and exit for tractors, many spots to sleep in your tractor and GREAT ownership ! I can definitely reccomend this place to the others in my company and my friends! 5 start !

Very poor service. Had to go to the kitchen to beg the waitress to take our order. Had to hunt her down to get a refill. Food was marginal at best. Took her 20 minutes to run my credit card. It's not like she wasn't there, ahe was talking the entire time in the kitchen.... loudly. Horrible experience. 12/10 11:45 am.

Well it was 9pm , they was out of something I ordered, they more than accommodated for the lil problem, all the food was excellent, great people, they work extremely hard to serve us well. Stop in and see them , it will be worth the stop. Thanks folks for a great MealI will say this ok Folks, I have read some pretty bad things , but when I was there , they was talking about some of the problems they had been having with some of the help they HAD. They are trying to stay on top of that now , but everyone knows , everyone wants a pay check but no one what to show up to work!!!! Today's society!!

We pumped our own diesel into our 50 mpg Golf, walked in to see a beautiful smile and respect. These people are taking a neglected truck stop and trying to give us an alternative to the gouging going on across the interstate. Their efforts should be rewarded.

Basic truck stop. Bathroom smelled of old urine. Needed to be sprayed. Also, the place closes at night so no access to a rest room during the night. 3 stars, I'd stop here again if the Flying J is full, but only if it's full and my clock is running out.

Ok place to stop, not handicap accessible. Some food was very close to outdate. Would not stop again, I will turn and go to Flying J a half mile away. I was physically in the building and know how to read date codes, also there is no way a wheelchair will fit in that bathroom.

Potential on food but cook is lazy. He can an cook fries but not hash browns or American fries. Place is run down and unkept. Way over priced. Never again. One star is on potential. Definitely not buying fuel.

Stopped for gas. Bathroom sketchy. There was a large baking pan in the drop down ceiling just inside the door of the bathroom collecting water from a ceiling leak. Heaven forbid it should fall on you full of water.

Good fuel stop! No bio in their fuel, and it's priced WAY under the Flying J on the west side of the interstate. Today it is $2.459. The J is $2.819. Great place for owner ops and independents to fuel up!

This place is amazing. Stop here if you have little kids. SUPER kid friendly and free dessert! Sweetest servers ever. Truck stop is the way to go on a road trip!
