First off the pharmacy holds the strangest lunch hours...1:30-2 PM today. As for today, I pull up at 1:28 needing medicine for my Daughter and they continue posting the "Pharmacist not on duty" sign and ignore me. With all the other times I have found them spuriously closed I'm surprised they are even running. With service like that, really just hang it up and put a gift shop in the space. Rude, unprofessional and unacceptable, especially when the meds are needed.

We have been going to the Univ Ave, Waterloo pharmacy and store for over 26 years. I am typically at the store and pharmacy several times a week. I have not experienced anything but excellent service there. The pharmacy is a very busy place most of the day. I have noticed there have been an increasing number of regulatory requirements imposed on staff over the years. The pandemic has caused even more time-consuming requirements on staff. In addition, I have noticed customers becoming more impatient and rude to staff over the years.It seems as though some think they are in a fast food store rather than a highly regulated and very busy pharmacy. I view the pharmacy staff as highly competent, accomodating, and friendly. Store staff are helpful and friendly as well.

Dealing with the pharmacy is not a pleasant experience. While there are a few helpful folks that work there, some border on rude. They have a tendency to needlessly hold up prescription orders for days without even bothering to contact you with an update (as an example, after three days of waiting, I finally called in to find out what the delay was--they were apparently wanting to know if I really wanted the med despite the high cost--even though I have paid that same cost before...apparently they would have never ordered the med had I not called in). Their prices are almost always higher than other pharmacies. I wish there was another pharmacy close by...

The lady in the pharmacy is the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with. She was upset getting a hard copy of test results. Shook her head the whole 5 minutes she worked on it. Then wouldn’t even acknowledge me when i thanked her. 2nd time I’ve dealt with this lady and the last.

Pharmacy has little to no customer service or attention to their customers. I had never been to this walgreens before and was thrown by not finding an area to be seen by a nurse/tech so I asked at the counter where you go for a flu shot and, after being ignored for a while, was vaguely directed to further down the aisle. Get to the next window. Scheduled an appointment for a flu shot and yet was told it would be a 45 minute wait. When i said I had scheduled an appointment she said "they never really look at those" but since I filled my paperwork out ahead of time it would speed the process up. I said I was going to leave if that was actually the wait and she said they were able to work me in and it wouldn't be that long. The pharmacist then asked me some questions and was really vague/confusing about things. I was then sent back to the front pharmacy window to pay for my vaccine and waited 5 minutes there to be helped.The entire process was way more frustrating than it should have been and would have been sped up with a little enthusiasm and effort by the team. Won't be coming back here again.

Front employees anyways helpful. But the Pharmacy..how do these people have jobs? I live a block away from your location and now drive out of my way to Kimbell to get meds. This location has gotten our meds wrong, they're rude, always seem to be short pills and when I voiced my concern I was told I was wrong. Hopefully this loction will be closed soon enough just like hyvee and kmart.

Staff is super rude. Pharmacist rolled her eyes at my fiance just for trying to ask where something was. There are other pharmacies nearby, go to a different one unless you like rude service and a long wait for it.

Spoke with a pharmacist on the phone, and they were very rude. They also ended up hanging up before I was finished asking questions. I don't get my prescriptions here, but I wouldn't after that experience.

Couldn't find my popular vitamins I always buy after they remodeled and they wouldn't help me find them.. and today for the first time nothing was on sale

Always a pleasant experience at walgreens,honestly they need more staff tho. It can be frustrating waiting for service outside of the pharmacy needs!

Customer service is failing big time.. i would say its a reflection of them not liking there job, or i guess its possible this employee is lacking the basic skills needed to politely greet the customers

This is very helpful pharmacy for the elderly and the patient who has been diagnosed with illnesses that have a lot of medication
