The Hy-Vee grill attached to this store is so good. We pulled in on less electricity than a static balloon thanks to a less than stellar charger in Rochester (EV road trip from St Paul to St Louis) so we had time to spend. The bathrooms are clean, individual rooms. The grille is comfortable. We were a little nervous because no one was there. But the food was SO fresh. I had a crispy chicken salad with perfect crispy lettuce, actually great tomatoes (it’s early April, not a given, and still warm crispy bacon. The fried chicken breast was perfectly cooked. My husband had a Rueben and fries and was also pleased. The best place to charge between the two Saint Cities by far. Oh! And the 150 kw charger charged in the high 90’s to low 100’s so it was relatively speedy to get from 8% to 92% charge for our IONIQ 5.

First time in a Hy Vee store. Very impressed with the cleanliness and how well shelves were stocked. The associates were quite helpful when I asked for certain items. Definitely will be doing more shopping here.

The biggest beer selection in town! Exquisite microbrews from the best breweries the world over can be found in abundance right here. No need to go to a taphouse. Waterloo Hy-Vee has EVERYTHING!

I love this Hyvee - the store is always clean and employees are very helpful (including pharmacy & Starbucks!). Even the Security guard helped me at the self- checkout once.Melissa in the specialty meats/cheeses was SO helpful today as I prepared to makea charcuterie board. She truly went above and beyond despite getting off work ten minutes later. She is amazing & I hope HyVee knows they're lucky to have an employee like her 😊

Friendly people greet and help you as soon as you walk in. I went in to get a few things. I was pushing my car through the produce section and was over powered by the delicious aromas of the Chinese food that was being made. Needless to say I walked out with a smile and their lunch special. Great visit at Hy Vee.

I give 5 stars because I mainly utilize the pharmacy only at this location.The grocery part of the store is a little pricey in my opinion.$1.00 here & $1.00 there adds up quick these days.Employees and service, deli and meat department are all 5 star areas for service and a smile, but the dollar factor leaves me with a pause.

The parking lot should've been redesigned from the start. The second you turn in from Ansborough, it's congested. Especially if there are pedestrians walking inside. It's also a really small store, which means not the same inventory as bigger stores.

It felt like I was being watched by employees, whether they were stares of suspicion or not, it seemed almost intrusive on my personal space. Was very expensive as well... but the food I had was good, I'll give them that.

Good place for fresh meats and cheese. The store is always well-cleaned and stocked! The one thing I do not like though is how I always feel like I'm being watched especially at the self-checkout. It makes me uncomfortable and it seems like they profile you based on how you look.

Not a store that I visit unless I almost have to. The parking lot is nearly always packed. Very chaotic with cars going in all directions. To find a smile in any isle would be a first for this shopper. The price of grocerys are higher here than anywhere besides a convienence store that I've found in Waterloo. All things concidered, Hyvee is not doing any of its neighbors any favors!

Stood in line waiting with 3 other people waiting for customer service for 10 minutes before someone came up to say that they now close at 7p.m. on a Friday night. Maybe put up a sign?

This place has a fantastic selection of food and items that you need. Produce was excellent. Everyone was friendly and it was a clean environment. Definitely recommend coming here. Still a great place to go, everyone is friendly!

Spend my hard earned money on groceries here at least 3 times a week and have been nothing but disappointed the last 2 times I used the meat counter first incident I was going to let it go looked like the guy was having a bad day, we ordered 2 lbs of party wings and a couple pounds of burger meat which must of upset him even more because he gave me all legs and put a huge piece of leg and thigh, that were still attached together with the fat all over him (costing a lot of weight to the price) I was willing to let that go but then I open my fridge the next day to find blood all over he didn’t even put my burger in plastic wrap before putting it in the paper how rude and disgusting! Done using the meat counter here!

The store is pretty well stocked this morning. The produce is spotty. Some things are out, while others items are in good supply. They had one brand of tp, which was going at a reasonable pace given the circumstances. No lysol spray or disinfectant wipes. The pictures are one hour apart. There were some packages on the shelf in the aisle that were gone also.
