Classy little coffee joint. Barista was nice, fast and knowledgeable. Coffee was well priced and great tasting. Very cozy atmosphere. Places to sit and they have a selection of board games to play. Enjoyed our visit and would definitely return and recommend to orhers.

Opposed to chain/franchise coffee shops, we are always on the lookout for independently owned.The owner was so accommodating and informed us of the multiple options... Cows milk, almond milk, soy milk, and coconut milk available. Hot, iced, and blended coffee offered. (Almond whip cream is available as well.) Great tea menu. Live music was advertised. The establishment was so clean (as were the restrooms) and had plenty of seating. (Think: I have a lot of work to do and would love to enjoy a cup or few of coffee/tea while doing it.)Y'all... this is hands down the best coffee I've ever had. Worth exiting 218 for!

Very good coffee and nice atmosphere! Stopped by while in town looking for a local coffee shop with stellar coffee, and this place was it! Tried their signature “Fatté” which tasted awesome. I’ll remember this place for next time I’m in town. Yum!

Had been wanting to check this coffee spot out for a long time. We stopped in and waited 20 or so minutes without anyone checking in our even greeting us. We could hear someone in the back so we waited patiently as we assumed they were probably busy with a task and would come up shortly. No one ever came to the front. Was very disappointed.

They have an area for musicians to play live and board games!! I had their cookie dough bites, you gotta have at least once!Wheelchair accessibility: I think my friend saw a ramp in the back but I would call ahead to double check.

I went here once to test it out and now I'm a regular!! They're such a great business with an owner that knows his coffee and speedy baristas making quality drinks. I always make sure to stop here if I'm driving around town and I'm never disappointed in what I get.

Excellent!!! This place gets 5-stars because they are awesome!!! Top quality products, friendly hometown service that you won't find in a lot of places. This coffee shop is one of Waterloo's best kept secrets. If you are passing through Waterloo on Hwy 218, jump off on the Fletcher Ave exit. Turn south one block and Fat Cup will be on the east (your left) side of the street.

I get my daily brew here. I need a lower caffeine coffee and they have multiple choices for a half home brew. Always helpful and great service. I am getting delicious daily grinds from here.

Had a fairly large order for a single person. The owner, Ryan, called me personally to find how they could best me try out Fat Cup. He explained their roasting method and even threw in a smaller bag of coffee.Great stuff and great people!

Coffee connoisseur here! Didn’t know of the place until I randomly drove by it on Fletcher. Amazing freaking cup of coffee! The inside is really nice & super big for hanging out with people! Staff was very kind to me. I’ll definitely be coming back & certainly recommend! Local is always the best!

I haven't been to their location but ordered some of their coffee online and it was amazing. Shipping took quite some time but they more than made up for it by including twice the amount of coffee I ordered.

Amazing single origin coffee that is actually roasted in-house, as opposed to a lot of other shops. Pour-over was made using a V-60, and the resulting cup was very flavorful and well-balanced. My girlfriend got a Caramel iced latte and the espresso was made fresh, milk and caramel added to taste. The best latte I’ve ever tried. Support local business and give this place a shot, it has something for everyone!

Outstanding coffee and great service. We have them for a coffee service at the office and they do an amazing job roasting. Much better taste and consistency than what we had before. The coffee bar is pretty cool too.

The one cup I have had thus far blew me away. I'd say that it was without question the best cup I've had from any Roaster in Iowa to date. And I've tried them all! I wish these folks great success. Even with a great product though it's often difficult to get people redirected from the Kwik Star mentality in this town.. And that's a damn shame. Try this coffee and spread the word. We, as a community must make the effort to make ventures like this sustainable to those who have the guts to enter this difficult marketplace.
