I love fareway. Good selection and the best part is there are rarely big families there taking up the entire aisle. The people who I usually see shopping here are older and so it's easy to get around and in and out quickly. I like that they added a few self checkout stations too. Good prices, good location.

I've always loved my neighborhood Fareway. The meat case selections are fantastic. The employees are helpful and friendly. But, I'm giving it a 4 because produce quality has gone downhill. The remodel and addition of self serve is nice.

First time I've shopped there for 2 weeks worth of groceries. Shelves were neatly stocked, isles clear and easy to navigate, lots of choices and plenty of parking. The whole store was clean and well staffed. I told them, I'll be shopping there regularly from now on.

The best grocery store ever! Their meat counter is wonderful and the only place I will buy meat. Everyone in the aisles working asks if they can help. The best part? They unload the groceries from your cart which is phenomenal, and someone pushes them out to your car and loads them! They are always friendly as well, whether it is 100 degrees or -20. Very pleasant place. They are also much cheaper than other stores in the area.

Initially, I had difficulty with the check out system. However, the issues, mine and theirs, have been totally resolved. I'm very grateful for this service and the ease with which to shop. I absolutely love Fareway!! ❤️

This is a decent grocery store. It's clean and has good clearance deals. The selection is decent, but don't expect to find exotics or many specialty items here. No on site bakery. Most of the meat is behind the older style butcher counter, where they wait on you. It's well staffed, so very little wait time at the meat counter. Be careful with the apples here. They order too many at a time or something, so you get older apples than you'd like. The store does not let you push your own grocery cart out to your car. The bagger does it and helps you load groceries. You don't tip them. It's a little awkward when the bagger is elderly and you're not. Overall I like the place and go weekly.

It's the place to go if you don't want to carry your groceries to your car yourself, or want to relive a 1970s grocery shopping experience. Older Iowans sure seem to love this chain. An unique demographic of customer.

I love Fareway! They have everything thing I need without overwhelming me with unnecessary selections. Thier meats are fresh as are thier produce. The staff is kind and courteous. Plus the store is kept clean. Fareway brand products are as good or better than some name brands. So, what's not to love? Nothing!

Love Fareway, as they will often have more variety of some products than Hi-Vee and their meat counter is wonderful. People are so friendly and sackers will load your groceries in your car. I do purchase from both Fareway and Hi-Vee because I can find some items at one store that I can't find at the other. Both have their positives...

Well stocked more people then there has been meat prices still a little on the high end but there was plenty available both at the meat counter and prepackaged. Lines at check out went well and people were wearing masks and social distancing

Great..only negative is..tried to get a large tub of whipped cream out of the freezer ..could not reach it.also the same for kemps ice cream in the higher shelf. Please check the shelf of the whipped cream...the tubs would not come out for me ..not enough space ..

This is the ONLY Fareway I've been to in all the states I've traveled that has been absolutely disgusting. How can this be?! Is this the only store that is not overseen by management and owners? The 4 times I've been there, always in the evening, the produce is rotting on the shelves, there were literally 2 cartons of eggs left, all but 1 choice of burger was left and the rest of the meat looked purple and dry, and the cashiers were chatting with the guys bagging to the point they ignored the customer they were ringing up. HORRIBLE! I am always near by but will gladly spend my money at Walmart or Target or Hy Vee . What a shame that Fareway is allowing this store to ruin their famed name.

My dad bought a 12 pack of pop. Kept it in the garage for about a month. Opened it took a drink...tasted like it was property of king tut. Check the Exp date and it expired 8 months ago. Brought it back, Dwayne mngr told me no I can’t take it back without a receipt. So, basically, they don’t check their products and then call you a liar when you want an exchange. As if Dwayne is stopping a huge pop exchange swindle ring. Family has shopped there for like 20 years. That service sucks!! Do your job Dwayne!!
