I personally never really shopped there as a adult but growing up in the neighborhood we did as a family back in the 80s and 90s & as a kid I would ride the toy ride out front if I was good during our store visits. Now present day 30 yrs later and I work there and the store is making a comeback I believe. Because our crew leaders and staff are working together to make family dollar great again. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for good deals and good value to come and shop with us we are nothing without our customers. Exceptional customer service. Always greeted with positive energy. Store is overloaded, that's not the employees fault. They don't have much room to put items, so they work with what they have. It would be a great idea If All family Dollar implement the 6s method, it's a organized and sustain method, other than that I enjoy coming here. I'm in this store at least 4 time's a week.

I was surprised was told the store was a wreck .but was not that bad when arrived .and was actually clean and organized.people was friendly also .and is stocked nicely and all kinds of different products

Store is not organized take them five days to put up truck. Windows are dirty and nasty, like they never get cleaned and garbage can outside is always over flowing with garbage. Very friendly staff and respectful.

Really cool staff! I like the girl who works the cash register.. She wouldn't sell me cigarettes without an ID but she treated me n my friend very nicely!!

They are currently way under staffed... The girls that do work there however are very nice and work their booties off doing a good job keeping it all picked up and organized... Very impressed!

Otc card was supposed to work and now I can't eat dinner, there wasn't an option to use the card without a pin.

The team members were overwhelmingly kind the store a mess. They had needed a couple workers to just restock, clean and label. Many ilses unable to go down due to clutter. Workers kind friendly. Good. Team bad store

Dirty store very unorganized,, they're excuses not enough workers but I find that hard to believe cuz there's times where they pick it up and then it's even dirtier and the floors are all buckling up and I wouldn't doubt if there's rodents all over,, some rude workers.. one of the managers is decent though but It needs to be shut down

I have no transportation except my wheelchair and this store is only a couple blocks away so I have to shop here but it's always stressful due to there isle's are always full of boxes crates and loose merchandise and it takes me at least an hour to get around it just to get a few things I can never find someone to move stuff to get through in the nine months I been gonig there only once did someone help move things so I could get through

I have never been treated so badly in my life!!! The customers are very rude, and one employee is unbelievably rude. I will not go to family Dollar again. Dollar General has a much better atmosphere.

I like the prices and selection of products but the Family Dollar on Franklin Street in Waterloo is horrible. The aisles are constantly clogged with crates & boxes, disorganized, or just plain dirty and many of the associates are rude.Our last visit there was a very disheartening one. The cashier was obviously racially motivated, treating us with blatant disrespect compared to her treatment of other customers.We will avoid this particular store in the future.

Dirty store. Always boxes in the isles never ever stocked And the parking lot has big pot holes everywhere¡ !!! Unless you're walking isuggest you pass right by!!!. Customer Service sucks. They are always talking to each other not even acknowledge you are in line SMH

Their customer service sucks the aisles are always filled with boxes of inventory as if they never put anything away and they only have 2 people working half of the time... The parking lot was pothole heaven for many years but they finally fixed it about a month ago

Went there for a tracphone refill card and?the never gave me receipt with the pin. The sales rep was adamant that the regular receipt was all I needed but when I tried to call and reload the phone I was unable to do so. Very poor customer service I will never go back there

Can't always get around easy because of boxes. Will NOT let you use the restroom under any circumstances. Slow workers and getting dirtier.
