This was the worst Dollar Tree store we’ve been to. Usually greeted with a friendly Hello but when you walk into the door you get overwhelmed by stench. I don’t know what it was but it was terrible. Like someone had been smoking.The store was a mess. Things were packed on top of each other and some were blocking items by hanging in front of them.Couldn’t even find the pet section it was that terrible.This used to be my number one Dollar Tree store. Since their merger it has really gone downhill.

The store was a mess. I overheard them talkin about a foul smell n usin a trap to catch whatever rodent. 1 employee complained she was hot n hoped she was "sweatin it(flu) out". When I finally got in line another lady stopped to blow her nose then reached back in my basket. I said "wait..do u mind sanitizing"? She said "sry im just gettin over the flu n i dont like the smell of sanitizer". Im blown away that adults dont know to sanitize when ill n workin with the public n get rude when u suggest it. I wont go to this location again.

Your money goes alot further when you shop at Dollar Tree for often the same products. Take toothpastes for example, they carry many of the exact name brand toothpastes for so much less money. Same goes for dental floss an array of other products. Also their gift bags are hard to beat. Just as nice if not nicer than any other store for a whole lot less. Shop at Dollar Tree & your budget will thank you.

Unfortunately my experiences with this story have taken an entire turn. It was previously the only store that I would shop at for dollar tree, and yet today changed everything. I went in and my phone was stolen out of my cart. The empolyees would not assist in any way or have empathy of the situation. This is under other power at this point but I asked if they had cameras, and all that they cared about was that the lady was 20 minutes past her shift. My entire 2 hour search through the store to find out it was traveling down by cedar rapids at this point was very disappointing as this could have been stopped prior to this escalating. This was strike 3 of the way the employees hold themselves in a professional way.

I find it very odd adding a quarter to all there prices allowed them to stock more merchandise than they usually would have. There are some items your able to save money on. Unfortunately most items are proportioned to the adjustment of their low price compared to the box stores. Not fooling me :*(

When we walked into the dollar tree on Washington st. [218 S.] We were very impressed. Everything was in it's place all neat & organized. It was very nice to see everything on the shelves, no empty spaces & no boxes out on the floor. Excellent job.

Not as clean or as well stocked as the other locations, but not bad. Staff is very friendly and helpful.Some Dollar Tree locations (none locally) carry yarn on occasion. It would be great if they did around here.

I went to the store looking for plastic gloves, I then asked an employee for help finding them, she helped us find the spot where the gloves were only for there to be no gloves she then said “you guys can go to another store if you need to” with an attitude. She was also musty had my eyes burning.

I love Dollar Tree. You can get so many household necessities for just a dollar. It's great for party supplies and seasonal decorations, too! Even little things like earbuds are there for just a dollar each. However, this particular location seems very understaffed. Every time I've been there, the lines stretch back into the aisles of the store. The employees are nice, there just aren't enough of them.

The store was fine but the restroom was absolutely horrible. The floor hadn't been mopped forever or swept.The sink was full of lime , dirt and whatever. Why did I use it I had no choice it was rather urgent.

I'm not sure why this is, but the Waterloo and Cedar Falls Dollar Tree stores are 1000 times better than the ones in Cedar Rapids. They are cleaner and the items are so much nicer and better stocked. I stop in the Waterloo stores when there even though I live only 5 miles away from on in Cedar Rapids.

This store has a good variety of things, is well organized, and is kept clean. The isles are a bit small. It can be hard to maneuver a cart especially if you have children.

Came to this location today. Hardly anything on the shelves, shelves were dirty and no one around to ask where to locate anything.Do yourself a favor and go to any other dollar tree location.Also the old manager from Spencer's (cheryl Weirs) works here now? They must have finally fired her for stealing out of the register and blaming it on the part timers... might wanna call Spencer's HR department on the rest of what she was fired for because it was alot.

Not only was this store very messy, with stuff strewn all over the floor, but the shelves were very bare with boxes all over the ailes that needed to be put on the shelves, which made it hard for 2 carts to go down the aisles. I will take my shopping elsewhere from now on. Discusting!

This store has become the most unkempt store I have been in. It is very dirty and bathroom was so disgusting. When I left I just wanted to go somewhere and wash up. I don’t think floors have been cleaned in years. I will just never go back in there.

Everything is $1.25 now, with the exception of some better items that are $3 and up. Still those little higher price items are better quality or better price than some other stores.

OK for just quick pickup of things. Lots of times it seems like the stock of items needed to be replenished more. I do like that you can get plastic storage containers for a dollar!!!

Your website and sign in your door says your open until 10 pm Monday through Saturday. All your lights are on it's 937 om and your doors are LOCKED! This is not the first time this has happened, does your manager know you stay on the clock yet don't allow customers in?

There was a line at the register so another register was opened. While i was being checked out the cashier took a personal call on her cell phone. Then the card machine did not work because the register froze, so i had to go back to the other register. While i was back at the 1st register, the 2nd cashier was cussing and unprofessional.

I usually can find what I'm looking for and sometimes am surprised by what they have. Quality is good but it depends on what you are getting-thats true of any place you shop. You generally get what you pay for.

Not really a dollar tree anymore. Just wasn't good experience the last few times.
