The hours on google said seven, so my fiancé and I came at five fifteen. We didn’t notice the sign on the door that said they close at 5:30. Our drinks were both made incorrectly and when we had to ask for them to be remade TWICE the girls behind the counter were very rude. We sat down to have our drinks and instead of telling us that they were closed they proceeded to LOUDLY talk crudely about us as they worked. Saying things like “who comes in at close and just sits there??” WHEN WE DIDNT KNOW. They could have just asked us to leave and we would have, but instead they didn’t say anything until five minutes after they closed and we had to unlock the door and let ourselves out. Very childlike behavior. We love Caribou so so much, but this is just so so disappointing that they would hire people who behave like this towards others. We are usually very kind, I wasn’t angry or demanding when having our drinks remade, and I even apologized. But treating us like we are lesser beings for not being aware of the closing time (taped very small on the front door) is not acceptable. Just ask us to leave.

We’ve been regular customers here for 9 years. In the last year, the service and drink quality has tanked. In just the last 2 months I’ve received the wrong drink, completely unmixed drinks, been overcharged (I asked for a receipt), caffeinated when I asked for decaf, and hot when I’ve asked for iced. The service is not good, and the baristas all seem disgruntled. I’ve been a barista, so I know it when I see it. They won’t or don’t ask about Caribou points here either. I will not waste money here again.

Caribou Coffee is a very nice place. It is quiet. The place is clean. The decorations had me feeling like I was home enjoying my coffee. The service was fast. The server was friendly with a smile. She acted like she actually enjoyed being there. The coffee was great. The view of the outside was relaxing. I could have brought a book and would have been very content and comfortable there. My only complaint would be I would like to see more cozy chairs for that truly relaxing experience.

Horrible! Customer service was just as bad as the coffee ☕️,. Look I'm from Minnesota and I love Caribou ❤️. I don't appreciate when you mess my order up and demand a refund because I paid cash and tell cashier tells me you can not refund me be cause the manager is not there today.. Shame on you Caribou in waterloo own by Hyvee on east university Ave.....

This place is bigger than the one in cedar falls. It has more character and the patio looks nice. They serve coffee in mugs if you stay in the shop. And as always, they offer free refills...so it's worth spending some money on coffee there. Overall, I like it more than Starbucks and other caribou locations...so far.

Every time I go to this location the drink is not even "blended" like it should be.. there's no topping at all and the whip cream they put on top is pretty watered down to put it nicely. The staff is rude and always have a very poor attitude towards customers. I'm an agm of a hotel actually so being a manager myself i would definitely be looking for staff replacements. I go to caribou everyday atleast once and I'll drive all the way to the cedar falls location just to get a better quality of product as well as exceptional customer service.

This was my favorite Caribou in town. Since it's started to get a little cooler outside and all the wonderful pumpkin flavors come out. My wife and I started to come back almost daily for coffee. Only problem is in the last few weeks service has gone down quite a lot. Takes about 2.5x longer to get drinks and about 30% of the time, either someone in front of me or myself often get handed or offered a coffee we didn't order. They do give us the coffee for free if we wait to long but I'd rather pay and leave within 5 mins.Edit 8/12/17This is no longer an issue. Go here 3-5 times a week. So much so the ladies know my wife's phone number for perks. Wonderful staff.

The ladies at the counter were great. They paid attention to the fact that my dog is a service dog. They also have pretty good iced coffee. I enjoy the iced vanilla latte. Worth the trip. I'll go back.

I love this place!!! The staff is always very friendly. The coffee is fresh and delicious and the bagels are yummy!!! I go several times a week and it's always a wonderful experience. The fire place is a cozy hangout spot and the restaurant area is always clean and comfortable.

Wednesday, August 23, 2017. Caribou, as good as the coffee is, gets a 2 rating on poor customer service. I am from out of town , here for my sister's surgery. I am meeting the whole family at the hospital at 6am. Bringing bagels and coffee. I checked the website and it said the cafe opened at 5am. I get to the restaurant and the sign said openThe hours in the window said 5am, but the were closed. This was at 6:45. I get back in the car and go to the drive through, all lit up and the manager in the window. I ask if they are open as there is every indication they are, she proceeds to tell me they just changed their hours TODAY. 6am open. Really? She then tells me there is a Starbucks down the road. I give them a 2 based on very poor marketing practices and poor customer service.

Big disappointment, pay $5 for latte and not get what I order. Ordered triple shot non-fat latte, order taker repeated the order correctly, she made the order and correctly repeated the order again. Got down the road to discover it didn't have an extra shot and some terrible and very sweet flavor added to it. It wasn't drinkable. I'll go to Starbucks next time, they have yet to mess up my order, but this and other Caribou's seem to have a problem in make it right.

Always my #1 go to coffee joint. Always friendly, always cozy and always good service. I recommend Caribou to everyone that brings up coffee. I suggest the carmel high rise blended. Can never go wrong. Stay golden.

Expect rude treatment. Manager ignored several customers who finally gave up and left. When I was finally acknowledged she seemed irritated that she had to take my order, I will never return. She also allowed people to sit inside and drink coffee ignoring quarantine rules.

I wish the Carmel Latte tasted like a Carmel Latte and not coffee with milk. Didn't seem to have much if any Carmel syrup. Great location though and a nice place to sit.

My son and I drop by for iced coffee and and egg white sandwiches after our morning workouts. They always remember us and get our order done right and quickly. The perfect hydration and low fat protein after a work out.
