This Super Target is the closest to me as I live in Grimes. I have shopped here weekly since I moved to the area in December 2021 and became a Shipt Shopper in early 2023. I really like the Good & Gather, Market Pantry, Favorite Day, and Goodfellow brands. The grocery section is always well stocked and the team members (Austen, Devon, and David) are extremely helpful in finding items for me when I need them. Theresa, Candy, and Renea are usually in the self checkout lane on Fridays and Saturdays when I'm doing orders and are quick to audit my carts and get me on the way so I can deliver orders early/on time to customers. Self checkout lines can get very long but they've done a better job of hiring cashiers. Update at end of October 2023 - Self checkout has a sign up that says 10 items or less to help with long lines.

I did a pick up order in the morning and it was ready by my lunch hour, I checked my order and cancelled 3 items because they were not "in stock". When I picked up my order the same day I went to see if I could find some items that would work. Tell me why I was able to find 2 out of 3 items that had not been found. If I had known it would be easier to find the items myself I would have never done pick up. B+ for everything else, D+ for pick up.

Open more check out lanes if you don’t want more than 10 items in the self check out, waste of time!! You only have 2 people checking out. I love self check out because of the ease of checking myself out, getting in and out of the store in a timely manner, you need to change the policy on self check out or get more workers to check out more customers. Nobody wants to wait for people in line to have somebody check them out when self check out is completely open and available.

I have been a fan of this Target for 3 years and I have always ordered my groceries via drive-up here with no problems. However, today, I had 4 bottles of sparkling grape juice (bottle is equivalent to the size of a wine bottle) in my order for an event that I am attending. Whoever “picked” and bagged my order placed all 4 GLASS bottles in one plastic sac (didn’t even bother to double bag). When the other staff member loaded my groceries in the trunk, the sac holding all four of the bottles busted. I didn’t know this as I was driving. Came home to unload and two bottles spilled out, breaking all over me, my garage floor, and the interior of my trunk. Turned a really good day into 2-hours of unnecessary cleanup and money spent on cleaning supplies. Called customer service for an hour to get replacements, no one answered. When I finally got a hold of someone, they approved my refund in the app for the bottles but didn’t even mention educating the employee who picked my order about the concept of “double-bagging”. This is a busy time of year, but little details like double-bagging glass and heavy things matter. Maybe I need to start shopping at another Target. Please do better and educate your staff!

Waited at guest services for my in store pickup for way too long before anyone paid attention to the line. When they scanned my barcode they took like 5 minutes looking for my order before they said they lost it and all they could do was refund me or check the shelf again. She walked over to look and took about 10 minutes when the item was about 2 aisles away. She came back with a different item and said she couldn’t change it on the app so I can’t return it if I don’t want them. I wouldn’t have done pickup if I was going to wait half an hour anyways.

So apparently this store has no management or employees who can answer a phone call. Me and my wife called every single dept. several times over the course of two hours and not one answer(other than a few times of being answered and then hung up on). Guess this store doesn’t want to have good customer service or my business.

I was having a terrible day about ready to leave target empty handed in tears. That’s when this kind hearted worker named Mr. Aiden Miller swooped in and helped me find the apples i was looking for. One of the few bright spots in my life is now coming to meet with Mr Miller once a week at target. Truely a blessing meeting this man. Angel on earth. God bless him, really deserves a raise!

Guest services made me feel almost worthless and were not willing to help with my issue. The store manager isn’t available for questions or comments about the experience. Employees seemed inconvenienced by my issue and were quite mean. I will mot be back to this Target store.

The people that answer the phone were very friendly. I called 4 times today for the bakery and no one answered. It was very frustrating. I finally made contact on the 4th call, but was told they are to busy to make a cake in 3 days. I called Sam's club and they are happy to make it. I will shop there from now on.

Always out of rotisserie chickens. They have a sign that says if they’re out of stock between 4-7 pm the next ones free but they have never honored this. Ultimately not a hugely negative impact on my life but I think people need to know how bad the rotisserie culture is here.

I'm sorry for dragging this store through the mud but idk how to review Target as a corporation.I was just informed Target is moving towards having plus sizes online only. I'm a big guy and my wife is a big woman. I guess they're saying our money isn't good inside of their stores. Are they embarrassed at having plus sized people in their stores?I didn't realize they only targeted the skinny customers.I guess they just lost two big customers because we want to try on the clothes before buying them and avoid the hassle of ordering something, it didn't fit, go through the return process and start over. Something that could take us 5 minutes in the store, could take us 5 weeks ordering online and getting what we want.I'm going to say it. I hate being this guy, but I have to now. This is nothing more than pure DISCRIMINATION.

I love Target over Walmart because it's clean, they have a larger, better selection of goods and they always have checkers. I am not checking myself out. AND I dispise stopping at the door while someone goes through my cart to verify everything in my cart is on the receipt when you can clearly see I went through a checker line at the top of the receipt. They always have knowledgeable employees around the store for when I have questions, and they're always friendly. I love all their products. I could care less about the stupid movements that go on. So what if Target tried a marketing area and it didn't work. That's how business works. America needs to grow up and learn how to voice their opinions, not destroy the environment they live in to prove a point. That only tells us the idiocy that is out there that had NO VOICE!I do wish Target would support Vets as I come from a family history of Veterans.Veterans have given us our Freedom, that IS something Americans should never forget, and that will never change!

The store is clean and has been a welcoming environment. The staff are also really friendly and patient. They do their best to answer your questions. I am visually impaired and they even helped me by taking me to the location and helping me find the items I was looking for. Great ez some of retail and customer service. Target rocks! Keep up the great work!

The store is massive. They only let you have 10 items or less to use the self checkout. There is a huge line at all the registers. Not super impressed.

Not pleased with how my visit went today at the customer service counter. Candy was the lady working the counter and she was incredibly UNPROFESSIONAL and rude to each customer she was helping. She kept talking into the walkie talkie while helping customers and was annoyed with that and kept rolling her eyes and throwing her hands up and slamming things down on the counter and treating us like we were an inconvenience for her. As soon as it was my turn to do my return she looks at me as I'm walking up to the counter and says "K." and just glares at me and I was shocked and said "I have a return". She then grabbed the receipt and said "Anything wrong or damaged?" In the most annoyed tone ever and then looks at the computer and mumbles under her breath "Only 15 more minutes". I told her "Nope" and she said "Okay, total is...and will be going back to your card ending in...do you have that card on you?" Then as I went to answer and take out my card, she walks away from the register and shouts "Insert it and it'll prompt for your pin then enter that." So I did annoyed as hell because she was soooo snobby and rude for no reason. Then she handed me the receipt and went on to the next customer. Honestly I don't care if she was having a bad day at work and had only 15 mimutes left of her shift, she should be able to control her attitude when working in customer service and fake a smile while being respectful and helpful, otherwise find another job or go work at the women's prison. Also not pleased that she was the only one working the customer service counter with a huge line of people that just kept getting ignored by her and then treated poorly. Multiple other workers walked by and just looked at us in line and did nothing to help.

Our cashier (lady 50-60s grey/white long hair) was very rude to me and my husband, she was very nice to the lady in front of us and as soon as it was our turn she gave us very dirty looks, I accidentally left my phone with our stuff on the belt and instead of saying anything she stood there and gave us a nasty look until we saw she was holding my phone out to the side. I grabbed it and apologized to her- she still said nothing. She did not tell us our total and my husband was having a hard time with the card reader acting up and was asking her questions which she refused to answer and kept scowling at her. I was taking a step back trying to see if we possibly did anything that could of been interpreted as disrespectful but I genuinely cant think of anything other than the fact that I put our basket on the belt because of how she slammed it all outon the belt and smushed it into the lady’s stuff behind us -pushing the divider and her things back as well. I’ve never had a problem with putting baskets on a belt and actually prefer it on my end if I’m on a register at my job. We usually love going through the register instead of self checkout on days where it’s not busy just to have a nice chat with the cashier on our way out. We will be sure to avoid going through her line from now on. I’m not mad with you guys at all, I appreciate all you do and know how these types of things can go under the radar so I just thought it would be helpful to know. We just didn’t have our usual happy walk out to the car and ride home because of this experience

I was trying to purchase items from the pride collection and was told that they were recalled and the employee took them away and refused to sell them. It's 2023. This is disgusting behavior from a company that claims they're an "ally." Way to make a lot of your customer base feel like garbage.

They have a lot of stuff there. But the one item I look for they're out of wish they could keep their selves a little bit more stock. But there's such a big variety there. I only go there with my wife because Target is not my favorite store.

Store needs serious clean up and shelves stocked. Womens wear was a mess. Clothes on floor, disorganized and dressing rooms full of carts full of clothes. Empty shelves as you walk in the store and throughout main areas of the store. District manager needs to make a surprise visit and look at the store. Store manager needs to do a better job of making the store look good.

Having shopped at Target for years, I feel like the experience has only gotten better. There's a great selection, fair prices, a helpful and friendly staff, and great amenities. I also aim to support businesses that are charitable and give back to the community. I feel Target does well in this space and has a good reputation. Another reason why I continue to support Target is that they have good employee relations. I have known several people that have worked there and have had positive experiences. It takes a lot of hard work from a lot of people to create a good culture and be a reputable employer. I'm proud to shop here and I am looking forward to my next Target run! Thank you!

Last week I didn’t read the ad close enough to see that you needed a coupon to get the $15 Target gift card with a $50 purchase of products. I went to the service desk after double checking my receipt to be sure I had spent the $50. She was so nice and explained it was because I needed a coupon. She looked at my receipt, added my total and then gave me the $15 gift card. Then I went to the Starbucks and the girls working were also incredibly nice and patient with me while I tried to decide if I wanted whip on my drink. :)

Store is brightly lit and easy to navigate. Was excellent to see an older gentleman at the register, and a generally diverse staff. He was very sociable and easy to conduct business with. I always enjoy shopping at Target!

The stores are always clean, especially the restrooms. The employees always greet you & seem genuinely interested in helping or inquiring about your shopping experience. The produce is fresh & of great quality!

I have always liked the merchandise at Target, but my only complaint is the lack of clerks, especially when I am checking out. I know that the pandemic is a large part of the problem, but if the store(s) paid more, it might attract more applicants. This is the reason for four stars, not five.
