I had a cat spayed in Templeton yesterday. I picked her up in Templeton around 9:30 am today and was given nothing but a receipt. No discharge instructions, no cone, nothing, despite being charged for one. I go into the room to get her, and she's not in a kennel. She's just roaming freely in an exam room with no cone on. I had not called prior to pick up so, no, they hadn't let her out of a kennel because I was headed to pick her up.We get home, and I see her licking the incision, and it occurs to me that she needs a cone. I call the Audubon location and ask if I can pick one up there. I get there and say this looks rather large as I look at the cone. Sure enough, it's way too big for my tiny cat. So, I have to go get yet another cone. All this while my cat is at home licking her incision. I have a feeling that this isn't going to end well and nobody seems to care. I feel like my cat was given piss poor care, and this is only the care I know about. I sure hope that the care I don't know about wasn't worse.

4 years ago we decided to join the AMVC family. Our animals have been seen in both Templeton and Audubon location. In those 4 years, we have experienced some of the most talented people in this line of work. Our first experience with AMVC was when our dog was extremely sick. Tests were ran and a diagnosis of canine diabeties was given and so was hope with medication to help extend his life with everyday insulin shots. In that time we were given another wonderful year of memories that we will forever be grateful for. We would board him from time to time at either facility and we could always leave knowing he he would get the best care from all the staff. Their follow ups and compassion to check in on how said pet is doing never goes unnoticed. We have had the privilege of working with Dr. Amanda in our time there. I would highly recommend asking for her if you are new to AMVC. When the time came we had to put our Zues down the professionalism, compassion, and empathy from all their team was amazing. We continue to go to AMVC for all our pet needs and supplies. Highly recommend!

My kitty was sick, and they got me in as soon as possible (and as soon as I could corral her). Doc Amanda treated my girl like one of her own, answered my questions, and explained the options. Would recommend Doc Amanda and AMVC Templeton to anyone who cares about their animals.

Great vet and great assistants. They listened and worked hard with me to get my questions answered and take care if my cat. Also very reasonable priced. They aren't gouging the prices up, they are more than reasonable. Honestly, worth the drive if you love your furbabies, and from what I saw while I was there, he's a great big animal vet as well - amazing!

Only giving it one star because of the cheap cost. My fur baby went in to get neutered, barked ONE time at the lady at the front desk and she immediately gave up on him and wouldn’t give him the time of day, assuming he was a mean dog. He has anxiety and gets nervous around new people. She called Dr. Behrens to come in earlier to do the surgery (which he was clearly not happy to do). “I don’t want to deal with the dog,” she said. Dr. Behrens was ok, but didn’t tell me anything about the procedure and i was already nervous so that made it worse. Surgery went alright i guess, Rocky (my dog) came home THAT day. When i went to pick him up, the lady at the desk said, “he’s back there” and when I went to the room it looked like he was laying in the dog pound for crying out loud. Cement walls and floors, terrible smell, and a fenced in cage, he was laying on the floor whining without the blanket and his favorite toy that i had sent with him (which was sitting just right outside the cage). She did not give me any insight on how to take care of my healing pup at all. I chose them because i had heard such great things, so maybe they have been great to others but my experience was horrible. The price was great, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I was very happy with their services. We had to have our standard poodle pts. They were compassionate and considerate. Made the process as easy as possible. I'm extemely thankful for that.

It was good food. Went with friend after a business trip to atlanta. Good food and the server was kind. Forgot a few thing sand needed to be reminded. But oklboy s couple times so nothing too serious. She was. Very kind and a great waitress. Would certainly go again.

Dr. Berehns is a gentle giant❤️ I trust him with all my furbabies!! I have 4mo old puppy that was on verge of death with parvo and he gave us a fighting chance❤️❤️
