Delightful cafe! Atmosphere was relaxing, staff were friendly, helpful, and considerate, breakfast and coffee were hot and excellent, seating area and and bathrooms were clean. I'd be a regular if I lived nearby.Parking: Parking is in the back.

Great coffee! My go-to is their lavendar latte - you can still taste the coffee and it's not too sweet. I love their almond tarts when it's in season - tastes just like dutch letters! Their gourmet grilled cheese is also really good. They have cute mugs, t-shirts, and coffee beans inside their shop. So glad we have a nice coffee place in town!

Found this place from a sign on 35 on my commute home from work. The coffee was pretty good. They get their beans from Sioux City so you're supporting Iowa through and through. The Cortado was decent. The Dancing Goat was good except you couldn't taste the Irish creme at all. The winner for me was the August special, Blue Ribbon Peach Pie latté! There was a hint of peaches, it wasn't too sweet, and the espresso to steamed milk to foam ratio was perfect! Staff was awesome! It's cute, and neat inside. The indoor counter setup is kind of weird because you're blocked by the espresso machine and there's no POS station to indicate you're supposed to order there. I'd stop here again, though.

Whenever we visit Story City we stop at Kaffe Geita. We love their selections of espresso and tea drinks, and they have daily drink and soup specials. The staff are top notch, knowledgeable about their products, and quick to go beyond the regular coffee shop experience to ensure you are well served.Kaffe Geita is located within a minute of the I-35 Story City exit. They have good seating if you wish to lounge and chat, and a drive through if you are in a rush. They have unique and delicious espresso drinks: if you have never had a Caramel Nanny, then you are missing out!

Loved it so much we went twice while staying at the hotel nextdoor. Great paninis and pastries. I heard the coffee was great too. It's themed with Norwegian rosemaling because this town has a strong Scandinavia heritage and they were celebrating the Scandinavia festival the first or second week in June. I also talked to many people who were driving from Iowa to Minnesota who said that they always stopped for a great cup of coffee because it's also so close to the interstate.Vegetarian options: They had an amazing vegetarian panini

Do we know for sure that none of the goats that first ate the berries off of the coffee plant died? I mean... it would be too bad if they did, but their courage has allowed millions of humans to collectively lead a fully functioning existence for thousands of years. If there isn't a "Coffee Hall of Fame" it should be at your coffee shop in beautiful Story City. Should I commission an artist to create a mural titled "The Bovid Saints of Caffeine" immediately? Java lovers from around the planet could unite, drink coffee, confer on the pure greatness of these creatures, and celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of coffee shop owners around the world.

This place is a hidden gem. Easily the best food in Story City, and their coffee and espresso are genuine; not the burnt stuff covered up by sugar like you get at Starbucks. Good service with a familiar vibe. Love the Buttercup more than I should.

We stopped here while on a road trip a few years back and Google just reminded me of the event with a Timeline jump, what a trip.It was three of us at the time of our visit, and it was near closing time, but we walked in and were instantly welcomed with warm greetings. We asked for beverage suggestions and each had our drink, I don't remember what the other two ordered, but I always have a double espresso shot and a plain hot or iced latte and it was incredible. I don't quite remember what notes the espresso had, but it made the continued drive just a wee bit easier. My sister also bought some goat hand lotion from here, which she raved about for days, saying how high quality it was... I unfortunately did not sample it, but I'll vouch for them.The atmosphere was warm and bathrooms stocked. Both baristas at the time were great conversationalist, but alas, that's not always a given and might conflict with your individual experience. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone I talk to about my trip!

Great local coffee shop. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, great drinks and great food. The drive through line moves fairly quickly so you can get your coffee on the go. The drink menu has a good variety and they have monthly special drinks.

We've road tripped from Arkansas to Minnesota the past 15 years without knowing about this place! Found by accident last week and fell in love with it! Delicious coffee and friendly service. We went inside to order, but they have the coolest drive thru! Will be back, at least once a year ;)

Amazing food and drinks! So fresh and full of flavor. Absolutely warming environment. I strongly encourage you to check out their website. Pretty cool read about their reasons for goats being a big presence. I'll be stopping stopping by for a Breakfast Panini and a Homemade Green Smoothie every time I come back to the area! Also, probably a to go order of The Works Avocado and egg on toast. Yum.

I’m a sucker for independently owned coffee shops and this one most certainly didn’t disappoint. Greeted immediately entering the building and even with a smile under the mask and all! I ordered the Caramel Nanny Latte and it’s PERFECT. Good thing I don’t live close, cause I’d be here everyday 😀

If you're ever in the area or driving by, I highly recommend this local coffee shop. Great flavors, sweet workers, and even if you like to taste sugar more than coffee, they have great options.Despite being a local place, they have a drive thru window which is super convenient. Can't recommend enough!

Awesome little coffee shop! Drive thru or sit-in. They can make just about every kind of coffee drink, plus smoothies and teas. Sandwiches are delicious, as are all the local pastry treats they offer. Fast and friendly service. Locally owned and run! Great people!

We stopped while traveling-it was a really nice find in a small town. We were just going to McDonald’s before doing a Google search. So glad we did. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The Buttercup beverage was excellent.

One of my favorite places! Coffee is delicious, they can make one of the food menu items vegan, they have Wi-Fi, and the staff is super friendly. Cute atmosphere, clean environment, and a great spot to work remotely from.

Best food in Story City, by far! If you're just passing through or local, this is the place to eat. Their soups are to die for! Any of them, but the beer cheese is the best! Make sure to try the black bean burger! Grab a chai which is packed with flavor!
