Great local store that is always clean, well stocked with self checkout and cashier lines. There is also a kitchen that is popular with the locals for breakfasts and family favorite homemade meals to go.

I've shopped here for years until recently. The veteran staff is amazing, however there's only a few left. The kids working here are rude and have no concept of customer service. The old, tall, bitter lady in the Pharmacy is atrocious. It's a running joke around town about this one. I recently purchased "fresh" bread from the bakery and noticed it was moldy on the bottom when I got home and purchased a "close out" ice cream product that was expired literally by over a year. Totally inedible. Buyer beware in this joint. Thank goodness for the Walmart pharmacy and Fareway quality and customer service.

Midwest grocery chain with competitive prices for the area. Clean store with friendly staff. Produce was fresh and appealing to the eye. Wide selection of meats including some variety of locally produced sausages and other items. On site deli with seating.

I am not a Hy-Vee shopper. I think their prices are too high in comparison to Fareway... where I do most of my grocery shopping. I g to Hy-Vee for some of their "on sale" items

As far as shopping goes, it is a well organized store that’s fairly clean. The employees seem to be smiling and willing to help.I went to the pharmacy which had a lot of employees. Pretty efficient for as many people as they were serving.

My husband and I ordered catering for Sunday. Our order included the brisket and the ribs. Let’s just say all of our guests went nuts over it! The brisket was tender and the ribs just melted off the bone. Everyone also was raving about the white Mac and cheese. No one could believe it was all from Hyvee and my husband said it was better than the catering we got for our wedding last year. We highly recommend if you are in the need for catering to call them! Not only were they very friendly and absolutely delicious but it truly is worth every penny!

First time shopping at a HyVee. I'm from Texas and was very impressed. Excellent deli, produce, meal planning and pre-prep food (healthy foods) choices, very reasonable prices. Very, very friendly helpful staff that are very knowledgeable about products and where to find them. Also providing suggestions and personal taste choices. Plenty of staff on hand, no long waits for anything. Clean facility, clean parking lot. I will be back.

Always short on advertised specials. Either have to have a raincheck, if allowed, or just miss out on the specials. Two trips does not save anything. So no hot deal.

Ordered a meat n cheese tray for 20 people online. Wanted it same day. My order switched to 2 days later. They could not find my order but went ahead and made it for me in 20 min. Was grateful for that but, I got sandwiched tray instead of a meat n cheese tray. Not sure if I got my moneys worth. Spent over $50.

Everything thing you need in one stop! Great pharmacy, huge selection of liquor, and can pick up a great meal in the deli. Oh, and don't forget the meat and fish department! Great service everywhere!

Storm lake experience Great service. As usual!! Did my business with the deli dept today. Had baked chicken with a macaroni salad and a desert salad. It was perfectly done. Good job Deli crew.

6 people in this store are so very friendly and helpful. Linda, Randy, Mike, Donna, Dan and Tammy. All long time employees. I was in a couple weeks ago and 1 person was ahead of me. His item did not scan. Checker ask him what the price was. Finally she sent a person to check the price. Then when he left the checker and that person started chatting about something not work related. Then that person looked at me in surprise, like I had just got in line. I bought 3 items and 2 did not scan. Two weeks ago I went in and bought 2 pork loins and other items. One of my pork loins did not get put in my cart. After I got home I called and they had it. They told me I could come back and get it. I drove back to town and was in line for over 15 minutes. The poor girl was overwhelmed. I ask a young man if he could ask where my loin was. He didn't know. It was not worth the drive back and wait. Help should have been called. As a 38 year former employee of Hy-Vee, I was disappointed. The other issue I had was I went to the cheese Island. I stood for over 30 seconds. No one else in line. Then I saw the person wipe her nose with her glove on. I left.

Always love going to this location! Always a busy location so grocery lines can back up pretty quick but the wonderful checkers get people through quickly and politely, all while making conversation. Never too hard to find someone to help if needed, and they are always happy to help!

I could not be more pleased with the customer service from my local HyVee. Tonight’s experience with Caleb, and aisles online meant a lot as my day got turned upside down. My mother got taken by ambulance today, and I needed to place an online order in place of my usual in store shopping. He went above and beyond to personally run out last minute added snack items to me for my children. Now we can bring in the New Year with some of their favorites. I always love shopping here, but tonight’s experience gave me a smile and some cheer that I desperately needed!

We want to let people know what great help our Hy-Vee has. Recently my wife had surgery. We visited the Storm Lake store and visited with Linda in the meat department. She was very concerned about my wife and how well she was doing. As we continued on thru the store and to check out Linda walked over to us, after purchasing a bouquet of flowers and handed the to her and wished her a speedy recovery. This is one of the nicest, cleanest, great selection and quality meats Hy-Vee stores I've been in. The employees are friendly and helpful. If they don't carry an item that you usually get, they will carry those items if they are able to get them.Bottom line is that this store is my go to store for grocery shopping.
