Ordered pick up through mobile app. Passed and no cars or any sign of people being in there . I went 1hour before they claimed they closed and again no sign of people and absolutely no cars outside so I called the next day to get my refund . Owner said I couldn’t get my money back , she didn’t even offer to atleast give me the food since I didn’t pick it up . Owner didn’t care at all!!!! I did call the main office said they would forward it but the owner from this establishment refuses to still refund me ! They need to fix their mobile app ordering system for it not to charge until you actually pick up because the owner refuses to give money back when no order was picked up due to them being closed .

There was a pungent smell upon entering the building and approaching the front counter. The employees didn’t have a clue what I was talking about when I mentioned the smell to them. Bathrooms were smelly and in need of an update. Obviously the primary reason I went to DQ was for ice cream; and it actually turned out to be a very tasty blizzard I received! Chocolate chip cookie dough is always my favorite!

Ordered off the mobile app, which said the place was open. Upon driving to the location it was very much closed, and my card had been charged for the "complete" order. This review will be changed when I get a refund for my order 😭After calling the store, a lady told me she didn't know how to refund it and told me to call tomorrow when the owner was in town.

Place always seems in disarray and smells horrible! There's one nice older lady who works there that's always doing her best while the young girls are giggling and acting like their job and the customers aren't a big deal. Then 90% of the time the ice cream you ordered is melty and tastes funny. You can wait upwards of 15min for 1 small shake or longer, and for some reason it always smells like sewer gas in there.

I ordered and was handed my blizzard first - a mini turtle pecan - and it was extremely melted and soupy. No wonder she didn't flip it. That woman was very rude. A different woman, much much nicer gave me my card back with my receipt and I showed her the blizzard and said it was soupy. She took it back and politely said she would remake it. Then I heard the woman who had handed it out yelling about me complaining and that it wasn't her fault. She handed out my onion rings and glared at me even when I said thank you. Then the other woman handed me the remade blizzard and said she was very sorry. I asked her to let the other one that I was sorry and that I hadn't meant to make her upset. Hope she got the message, but I still didn't appreciate her customer service skills

Got bad customer services from a kid who’s a manager i asked for a burger with no mayo add mustard with fresh fry’s guy gave me burn fry’s. They easy fix for the guy was here I will give mustard I didn’t want to be rude by telling him hey that’s what u get paid for to make the burger not me but I kept the comment to my self they guy responded back with attitude so I got off my truck and got my refund. I ended up going to HARDEES it’s across the street Maaaan did that manager had some good customer services 100% recommend to go eat there🤤

I ordered a cheeseburger $7 meal…waited 30 minutes (so far) and still don’t have my meal!!!!!Well now it has been 45 minutes and they just locked the front door. Pounded in side door and they acted like they never took my order. Have my money and I have nothing!Finally after almost an hour got my order; wrong peanuts, no pop and half full container of fries. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN…plenty of other places to get ice cream and timely orders!Plus when I got back to my apt. Hamburger was like chewing shoe leather and fries were cold. Ice cream sundae had about 1 teaspoon of hot fudge!!!! RIDICULOUS!

I ordered an ice cream cake for Valentine's day (also my wife's birthday) and they saved it for me to come and pick up. When I got there I was pleasantly surprised at how polite, efficient, and professional the counter staff was. They retrieved my cake from the back and asked if I wanted anything written on it, which I didn't even know was an option. For the entire visit I was treated like they truly appreciated me being there, which hasn't been my typical fast food experience. Kudos to the counter staff working on Saturday, and to management for clearly creating a positive work environment. And yes, the cake was AWESOME!!

I love dairy queen but unfortunately my experience here was not good. All the staff that day were teenagers and when I ordered a sprite and went to the machine it wasn't turned on, I said to the girl behind the counter "Mam could you help me please?" and she turned to her fellow worker and laughed then came to turn it onas if that wasn't embarrassing enough when I started filling up my cup with sprite I noticed black chunks floating in it and asked once again for help...... more laughing from them. Finally I just got a dr pepper that I hope had no black things in. Overall I felt humiliated when they were laughing at me.

I tried to place an order over the phone twice and finally gave up and drove down there to place and pick up my order. They did NOT get the order correct.I have been in the lunch time and everything was perfectthis Dairy Queen has a problem with the night crew… I don’t know if they are high or just stupid. It was very irritating dealing with them. They could not get my order correct to save their souls. I gave the night crew 1, star for being physically present to work. The day crew gets all the rest stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Yay day crew. Y’all are awesome day crew. Mental note: Go somewhere else to eat in the evening…

Got a blizzard, halfway melted when I got it. Luckily I have a freezer, but it still stinks to have to wait 30 minutes for it to firm up on top of the 15 minute wait to get my order. To give them a little credit, it is a super hot day

Highly disappointed. Normally I don't have a issue but tonight they totally drop the ball. Everytime I said one word I got anything else everytime. Which is fine but I told them my order more than once and they still messed it up. I even corrected them at the window and they still got it wrong.Update: went again tonight and again rude. Got a salad and there was a long hair in it. I made sure it wasn't mine and it wasn't because it wasn't pink.or purple it was brown/blonde. I called to just let them know wasn't even looking for a refund or replacement and she laughed in my face saying that they all had black hair. I then preceeded to ask them if they thought I was lying and that I was just calling to make them aware or it didn't want anything and she continued to laugh in my face and said she'd let the Mgr know. I don't get what was funny and if anything they could've waited until I got off the phone. I work as a GM in the food industry and that attitude and the way each encounter I've had with them was very unprofessional. I get no one really wants to work but you're there so at least try to care a little. I will not be going back.

Very very slow service. Got 2 blizzards half melted. Didn't turn them upside down said something and was told we don't participate in that. Since when. Lady was very rude about it. Also asked for a snicker and heath blizzard and only got snickers but got charged for both. Will never go back or recommend this place.

Drive thru lines should not be 30 mins. I haven't even gotten close enough to order, but the way the drive thru is set up you're stuck in. Its the 2nd time this week the line has been slow. Whats going on?Edit: been there several times since then. Literally DO NOT GO unless u want to waste an hours worth of gas at the drive thru. Not to mention they are rude as well.

Service could have been timed with a calendar. Painfully slow drive through. Staff had great difficulty taking order, then quoted price nearly double what menu indicated. After questioning price quote, came up with a new price that didn't make sense, but was at least reasonably close. When food arrived, it included my order, plus an order of cheese curds. Recept indicated change of $3.48, ran card for $6.28 seemed nobody had a clue. Tried to correct at the window, but gave up as it was obvious nobody had any interest in resolving issue, after waiting nearly 25 minutes in drive through lane decided discounted cheese curds were compensation. .. another fast food location in storm lake to avoid. At least the food was edible. Hence 2 stars.

Online it says it's open. When I walked up to the door they were locked. A Sign on the door said to order on door dash. Will they walk my order from your door to my car for $20??? I'll pass. Instead I drove across the street to Hardee's, like everyone else, and walked in.Pretty sure after reading Yelp, this Covid is the excuse they've been needing at Storm Lake DQ...

This place is repulsive. Dont waste ur time in line inside or the drive thru. All the workers there are basically kids and they DONT know how to do their jobs. They kept making my order wrong and they took their pretty little time making my food. I didn't get fries with my #6 meal aswell. Everytime I went up for assistance, they gave me a cold stare and didnt help me. Customers should ALWAYS come first. I will be contacting corporate about this. Very disappointed in this restaurant. Going to talk to the manager and getting a refund.
