I looked online and found what I wanted, I wanted to go to the store and see if they had that particular one in stock. When I got there, the guy told me the price and it was $20 more. He says if you go back in your car order it online and we bring it out to you. It’s $20 cheaper because we don’t want you in the store anymore. Nice way to do business huh?

I went to buy vitamins recommended by my doctor. Being unsure, I asked the pharmacist for assistance. He was very helpful, and showed me which ones I needed and the dosage.

I go there because I have to. It's the closest one. This Walmart doesn't hide it when they think you are stealing. I swear there is more street clothed Walmart employees than the ones with blue Walmart vests. Tryna make every customer feel like they are doing something wrong when all they really are doing is getting toothpaste and bread!!!! Not cool , at all.

Ordered an item through the app for pickup, said they were working on it. Then couple hours after placing order they sent email saying it was out of stock and not available for pickup. Why could I place the order if it was out of stock!🤬 Target will get my money from now on

It's a clean and well stocked Walmart, employees seem happier than most and willing to help at all times. Definitely recommend if you are close to it.

Generally, this location is well stocked and has adequate selection. Layout is a little confusing, but service is good. Bathrooms are well maintained.

Just because artificial intelligence is at its finest and highest peak Performance currently ,than it has ever been. Does not mean that Wal-Mart (as a whole) needs to lack in customer service. But not limited to just lacking in customer service, the customer service that is awarded is generally rude and very demeaning. There is one customer in particular that I have had a extremely bad experience with multiple times. And has been brought to the attention of Corporation but Rhonda is still working there for some odd reason. Never friendly constantly rude and has called more than one customer a thief allowed in front of other customers while the whole time she was directly in the wrong and ignorant in the situation at hand.

Visiting from out of town. Stopped in to pick up a few things and just wanted to give some kudos to our cashier JJ! Super friendly and very helpful! Also I didn't get her name, but the blond girl working up front was handing out popsicles to kids, fantastic to see! Great customer service all around!

As a traveler, not from the US. I've made walmart a staple for food, sleeping, gear,and etc. Never before in 32 states have I met an associate so willing to be "helpful". In Spirit Lake IA. An associate "Parker". Made my day. Parker, you deserve all the accolades and made my trying situation a lot easier. Thank you!

I despise walmart. This one is no different. The vast majority of the staff seem to really be put off whenever you ask for help and they don't really listen to what you're saying. A lot of times they're rude. I can't blame them, as it's a horrible, rotten company to work for but please, try not to take that out on the customers. Whenever somebody actually goes the extra mile I'm sure to thank them for being that shining star in an otherwise blackhole.

The pharmacy department is wonderful. Helpful and kind pharmacists and assistants. My sister was having health issues and they went over and above to quickly fill her prescriptions. They also were concerned about her and wished her well. Even when they are busy, they are friendly.

I was in this store not long ago, and heard a manager reprimand an employee. I was disgusted!!! The manager was out right degrading and bullying!! Just a complete jerk!! No one should be talked to like that!! Ever!! In fact I hope that employee gets a lawyer!! I'll be glad to testify!! If any manager talks to an employee like that, they should be fired on the spot!! I'll do my shopping in Spencer from now on!!!! I hope that sweet girl quits!!! Terrible!!! I'll never shop here again!!!!

I hate Walmart. Unfriendly staff, self checkout, and in case I forgot to mention they have unfriendly and rude staff. I asked someone who had "coach" on their name tags where something was. They replied "I dunno." Most staff have their name tags backward, which I can understand if you are going to be rude to the customers. Avoid this place if you can. Hy-Vee has much better staff.

12/19 /2021 just after 3 pm the young lady manning the self check out started off by complimenting my coat. When I said I'd received it as a birthday gift she wished me happy birthday after learning it was recent. She was very pleasant as she verified my age for a liquor purchase. I was trying to hurry and complete my transaction to keep the line moving. In my hurry I left a bag of goods. She ran out into the cold to bring my bag and was so kind about it. Such a nice young lady and such a great smile. This time of year is so busy for retail it was great to see a happy attitude.

This place was packed over a holiday weekend. Still able to find everything we needed and self checkout. They have everything here, I can see why it's the Go To in the lakes area.

Was turned away at 1055 when they close at 11. Just had to pick up 1 thing. Even Showed the door person the time and was still refused entry.. won't be back.

I was in Walmart yesterday and bought a large quantity of various things. Joyce was working the greeters position and noticed I needed additional help with my items. Joyce went above and beyond and offered to get me help and to watch my carts while I brought my truck up front. Very sweet and cheerful. She made my experience there a positive one. ❤️

Love Walmarts in general The Spirit Lake store needs more and better running electric carts. Never enough charged and very noisy. Spencer store is ontop of this.

Their security is the most ignorant and unintelligent people hired. They can't tell the difference between the people that are banned from the location and got an innocent person arrested for no reason. If you're Asian, do yourself a favor and make sure the security can tell you're not armed and dangerous even though you're just an innocent person. Also to the loss and prevention lady that was involved, get some glasses too since you assisted on that innocent person's arrest as well and can't see the that Tony was innocently shopping and not being aggressive with weapons. By the way the person banned was named Cody not Tony
