As two former restaurant consultants turn truck drivers (I know what you're thinking how did that happen:-) we're usually not very happy with most of the places we go and eat at but this store has a Tanya at the helm and I can tell you when you have a Tanya(nighttime manager) Running things you're going to have a clean store staff that respect their manager and follow her leadership and customer service that's top shelf! We loved our experience so much that we asked to meet the manager And Tanya appeared! She was friendly had a great personality and was truly herself when we talked no phony acting or anything like that she truly was responsible for our great experience. We will be back!

McDonald's employees want paid $15/ hour. Yet at the same time. I come to this location and have to use the self service option. Then they bring our food and no drink or my Frappuccino. The rude employee comes back looking at me like I'm stupid says we don't have Frappuccino's till Monday. Then I have to ask for the money back?! Brings back $4.24 when it's supposed to be $4.27. Worst McDonald's I've been to. Do not recommend!

It's a gamble. Been here many times. Sometimes the food is good, others it's a laxative. Still go though because the good experiences far outweigh the bad. Plus it's a great place to grab a quick drink or shake. Also, it's the only one in town open late right now.

When in Souix City Iowa there is no better way to start your day than with a $1 sausage biscuit and $1 coffee at McDonald's. Unfortunately, the lobby opens at 8am, but the drive through is open 24 hours.Parking: Plenty of parking when the lobby is open.

This USED to be the best place to come for FAST food when you wanted it FAST. Not anymore. Since my husband went into the hospital, I've come here two days in a row and been parked at lunch time. Its about 1230. I ordered a #6 fish combo. Not too difficult. But they can't get it out to me. I waited around 4 minutes yesterday for an egg mcmuffin and today already over 10 minutes for my #6. No apologies, no "hey heres a free fries when you come back!" Nothing. Not good customer service. Its obvious they give zero flying F's about it. I will NOT be back. 13 minutes and waiting now.... sick.

Very slow service, watched a lot of the drive thru customers come inside to get their order corrected. Had to physically go to the counter to get utensils to eat our food. Employees ignored customers at the register for 10 or more minutes at a time. Total chaos in the kitchen!

So me and my lovely girl pull up in the drive through and this guy says to hang on and she is having a bit of trouble deciding what she wanted and I'm ordering for other people and myself so she has time. The issue comes when I need to ask what she decides on and this man child gets so impatient when I say one second that he mumbles through the speaker saying it's supposed to be fast food and then is also asking what it is I wanted. Which really pisses me off. Keep in mind there is no one behind us. No need for any rush just pure garbage service. So we get to the window and he tells me the price and I said it doesn't seem right for what I ordered and I ask if he had all the stuff and I added something because he was too impatient and told me to go to the window before I could even finish my last sentence at the speaker. So then he says he will give me a receipt and I said yes please, cause it was a decent amount of stuff. And then proceeds to not give me a receipt so when I ask he gets mad and shakes his head and walks off. Like the man child he is. Long story short I got my receipt and all my items and this man shouldn't be working in a service industry especially not if he can't take someone upholding his own words. Do not go here go to a different McDonald's. Please do not deal with this as we have.

Horrible service and rude people who clearly hate their jobs. You better have your order completely ready otherwise you'll get snide comments that are completely unnecessary. You ask for one second to turn and talk to your passengers and you'll be told "this is supposed to be fast food." Which is ironic seeing you had to repeat everything twice for him to be bothered to take it down. And when he says he'll give you a receipt and doesn't, you better not ask for it or he'll act like you're the world's worst customer. Working fast food isn't for everyone, I know that first hand, but if you like to be rude to people don't pick the service industry.

Took more than 15 minutes to get our order (2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 hash browns). When I went to ask where our order was the lady rolled her eyes at me and walked away. Once we finally got our food the hash browns were hot and fresh, the sandwiches were not. The biscuit was cold and the mcgriddle was rubbery. It was without doubt the absolute worst service I have ever experienced at this location.

I eat here frequently. My order is wrong 9 out of 10 times ! So simple, yet always completely wrong ! And almost always missing things. Oatmeal with no apples or raisins or spoon. Sometimes even missing all three ! When I order a hamburger with NO Cheese, they almost always give me EXTRA cheese ! I do not like cheese on my burgers...Why is this McDonalds so messed up ??? And to make it even worse, when I politely let them know my order is wrong, they treat me like I'm the problem and they always seem to have an attitude about it. The team should take a field trip to visit the local Chic Fil A or the Wendy's in town to learn about what excellent customer service is all about ... Sure wish McDonalds Corporate or the local Management would care enough to fix this place...

We just left. There were 5 customers in line. We all left. No one at the counter. No greeting, no one to say, hello, please wait. Nothing. Staff looked at all of us waiting. I know they are busy & short staffed. One older gentleman was waiting for his coffee. He saw the cup on the couch tee, asked if it was his (after he finally got someone's attention), took a drink & the coffee was cold. Worker argued with him, took the cup & never brought one back.Rude staff, absolutely no customer service.Culvers is much better!!

I ordered some food to go. Was handed my Mcflurry and it was only half full! So I asked if they could please add more. Got it back and it was only 3/4 full 🤦‍♀️ decided whatever and headed out to my truck to eat my food. My double cheeseburger wrapper was completely covered in grease. And my burger was half way off the bun.... it wasn't even that busy.... do better....

This McD only has drive through until 8 a.m., after 8 a.m. they are open as normal.The manager who is training a younger/perhaps later teens, was barking information at him. She was using a harsh tone in her voice and honestly was being rather disrespectful to him. Completely unnecessary 😒. If she didn't have time, as a manager she might have considered just letting him know they could discuss it later.His is a young man, willing to work and took on the job. If I was a family member and came in and witnessed this, I would be speaking to district manager.
