Bought a rack of St. Louis Style ribs yesterday. Smoked them today and they were absolutely fantastic! Perfectly trimmed, perfect consistency, and great flavor! I will be going back on a regular basis.

Luv luv luv this meat market! The prices for meat products are absolutely amazing! You can still find hamburger for a $1.89 a pound! That is a great deal! The prices for their regular groceries tend to be little higher. But it all depends if you want convenience so you make that decision to get them those other non meat items there or else make another trip to a local grocery store to save money non-meat products.We've been going here for 3 years and never had a problem with their meat. it's always better than the local grocery markets. Plus the price in some instances can be half of what you would pay elsewhere. There is a great selection of everything you can imagine from beef, pork, chicken, etc.

I love the prices and selection! However, I brought my 5 month old service dog (In training) to help me non-epileptic seizures from serious trauma and C-PTSD. I have all the certifications I need and I have been bringing her with me there weekly for 3 months. She is very well behaved and never barks, whines, or messes with anything in the store. Just wanted to mention that because my service dog is in training, at any moment if she were to misbehave or act unlike a service dog would that I would leave the store immediately and work with her because she is training! An employee came up to me today and asked me is she a service dog, and I had replied with yes. The employee continued to ask what she does as a service dog and I stated she helps me with Non-epileptic seizures. I completely understand just asking but the employee continued to mention other dogs that were at fault in there store and telling me to do certain things as if I was clueless about my service dog. I was extremely uncomfortable with the whole situation and went to the counter as quick as I could to check out. As I was checking out I felt more uneasy and my dog signaled me to go find a space to lay down. The employee continued to say what are you doing and my boyfriend with me told him I need to lay down to be safe. The employee had no disregard for me and walked away and made a sarcastic face, however, another employee came up to make sure the situation was okay. My boyfriend stated I was okay and the comfort of my service dog would help me through the seizure while held my head. I will definitely not be coming back here again!

Well these guys have been around forever and usually their prices are so high it's not even funny but they do once in awhile have some very good meat specials and it is a quality me as for the can redemption section those people in there have no idea about customer service apparently and I grew up in Sioux City and I've watched Lawrence's new grow and I stopped going there because they talk behind your back when you come in they just don't treat you like they even care you're there and that's how they make their money is for you to bring the cans in they should want more and more hope that we're so super busy anyway well unless you straighten your act up and the owner takes care of everything there you know I don't ever plan on going back to their can redemptions in there again unless it's a dire emergency the store yes the ladies and guys at the counter are always polite courteous and really want to help you.

I love their prices on the meats it's very reasonable. Most places I shop have higher prices on meats. Fresh and good quality, the main thing I look for. Great community store.

I appreciate Lawrence's for exactly what they are & for me that is the place I purchase my MEAT at. All of the meat selections are fresh as well as reasonably priced! Hands down the BEST place in all of Sioux City to stock up on all your MEAT NEEDS! They have a small staff and short hours which males it all the more personable!

great place to take your cans and bottles for nickel refund at the CAN store, take your can receipt into laurence's and buy some of the best meat in town at a very reasonable price, you will be very satisfied

This is where the wife and I take our cans every three or four months we seem to be in and out of there in about a half hour. If you wear latex gloves and don't mind stacking your cans or giving them the bag and they'll weigh it it's not a bad place they have plenty of parking and yes I would recommend this place.

Been going to this place for 40+ years. They have great prices and the entire team is awesome. I wish I could just figure out what time and day I need to stop down to buy up their pee salad as it sells out very quick. Our entire family is hooked on it. Maybe we need to see if can join some sort of club and get it mailed to us twice a month. They have a great meat selection.

Prices are better than other grocery stores but not as good as they used to be. I will not be shopping here much anymore. The savings are not good enough for the gas I have to use to get there. I will just be sure to watch my neighbor hood store for sales. I do like that the store is smaller and less crowded. The store is also clean and the staff are very friendly.

I just moved here and didn't want to pay for the ridiculous prices at the other stores. I buy meat here once a week. It's pretty good, don't know if they use any preservatives or not because they don't list anything on the packages. I also haven't asked them either. they're good people and they just do their jobs. That's all I care about and I am glad they have reasonable prices and hours.

Independently owned grocery store with friendly staff. The features that sets it apart is that the super market is connected to a can and bottle redemption center know as EZ Cans that is open daily. After staff verifies the count on the Iowa beverage deposit recyclables, the can company issues a receipt which is cashed out at the grocery store serious counter. Very smooth operation.

If you want cheeper meat come to Laurence's Super Market. I go there for meat because you can't beat the price for your meat at any store. So I do recommend this store for the meat. The employees are very nice and caring to the customers. That's a store that I would come again and again.

Neighborhood store has been around forever hope it never leaves great selection of meet at affordable prices. They keep on hand just enough of what people want and need the Necessities so to speak. Although it has been greatly reduced in size over the years it's a wonder they're still there but God bless them.

The Big blonde women who does the cash register and work there she is very rude....I won't ever come back! She lost my business for sure. The way she rudely commented towards my family and I. If she is Management she sure does not know how to talk and treat her customers with respect.

I am disabled physically. I use a 4 wheel walker aka rollator.I don’t drive and took a bunch of cans and bottles to recycle. I was early because of the bus schedule.I was just sitting on my walker and smoking a cigarette. The cigarette wasn’t the problem. She didn’t want me sitting outside the door.So, I went across the street to wait until the recycling opened.When it did open, I was able to recycle my cans and bottles. I went in the store to get my payment and the woman said I had to leave the premises immediately.I walked across the street to catch a bus. While I was waiting the woman A apparently called the police. I told them that I was extremely confused about what I allegedly did to warrant such treatment.I told them that I was disabled and had some mental health issues that I had been drug compliant on for over 13 years.I also said that I was occasionally having episodes of hypoxia - where there is not enough oxygen in the brain (quick laymen’s terms).They took me home but I will never go to Laurence’s for anything as long as I shall live.I was 59 at the time of this incident. It is too late now, but I wish that I had followed some friends advice to sue them.

I love this place meat is always fresh have never had an issue at all the young man that cuts meat is very helpful I usually buy 6 months worth of meat at a time way cheaper then anywhere else for your meats I usually spend around 3-400 each time for 6 months worth that's cheap

Great prices if you can get past the smell to do it. The can redemption center is so unreliable. Has hours posted.....but it's a game on if they're actually open or not. Pretty unprofessional
