The staff and doctors are amazing! They treat my pets like their very own. The care and compassion they show toward my dogs is amazing. My older Great Dane had to have some minor surgery and the staff spent time sitting with him, holding his head in her lap while he was recovering from the anesthesia. I could not ask for a better group of people to take care of my pets when they need care the most.

Such Nice polite gals at the front desk every time. Any questions I have about the dog food or the ingredients they are Very knowledgeable especially that Tiffeny at the front desk just love her! This is the place to take your animals. The vet is so intelligent and loving she treats every animal like it is her own. This is the place to take your animals if you want them to have the best!

Staff are consistently kind and welcoming. I was early to the appointment and they facilitated the appointment completion early as well. Dr Krause is very thorough in her exams and asks pertinent questions about our pet. Our cat calmly adapts to each subsequent appointment.

I take my guinea pigs to perry creek to get their nails trimmed regularly. Normally, I love it there. Everyone is very nice and professional, the facility is clean, and they always remember us and our pets. This is why I can't understand my recent visit. The vet saw my guinea pig, who wasn't eating and was suffering from bloat. Instead of prescribing him any antibiotics to keep his gut going, or anything to help break up the gas, or any painkillers because he was suffering, or doing ANYTHING at all to help him, she did an x-ray, told us he was bloated, and sent us home with a bag of critical care. My little angel died a few hours later, after having been given NO HELP AT ALL. A simple Google search would have told her that there were a variety of things that could have been done to help him. I swear, it seems like I know more about guinea pigs than Dr. Cuevas, just from doing online research and working at a pet store.

Heartless. Called about a cat that is throwing up, having trouble breathing, and cant really move much. There are no emergency vets in Sioux City that would help or even answer the phone. I called Perry Creek and the woman was absolutely heartless on the phone and just hung after being asked for help.

It was a heartbreaking day, as I had to make the decision to euthanize my fur baby, Maddie. One of the veterinarians there, Dr Bader, made an extremely insensitive remark that won't leave my mind. During our conversation on the phone today, about what to do for Maddie, I came to the difficult decision to euthanize her so she would not suffer, with the Vet agreeing that it would probably be the best option. Being out of state, and not being able to be there with Maddie had already riddled me with anxiety and heartbreak. My elderly father had been doing what he could to assist in getting her in to be cared for, but due to his limited mobility and lack of reliable car without heat, could not take Maddie to Sioux Falls for the 24-hour care that they wanted for her so they did their best for her here in town. Dr Bader's comment today was, "It's a situation of too little, too late". If I was able to be there, I would have taken her to Sioux Falls on day one, but I couldn't be. Still, this insensitive comment haunts me. Who says that to someone who is devastated by the decision that they had to make? How could you leave someone feeling even worse about the situation? Her conversation with me today came across as cold, and her apology for what would be my loss, seemed hollow. This woman could learn to address her patient's owners in a more compassionate and thoughtful way. My advice would be not to judge, and to not leave an owner such as myself to feel guilty, on top of her heartbreak. Believe me, I've never been more upset or felt so helpless before in my life. Dr Bader didn't need to make me feel worse, but she did.

I was very pleased with the care Monte received yesterday. He was very sick and they assessed him and got the correct treatment quickly. He is on the mend and with the medication has stopped vomiting!! Thank you so much!!

Perry creek veterinary clinic is full of Karens that do not like Natives or cane corsos.They didn't want to treat my dog simply because she growled with a muzzle on.( She was a guard dog btw) They gave my dog bunk shots and she passed away.If they are so scared to give cane corso shots, why are they even vets.R.I.P. I cannot thank Family Pet Hospital, Dr. Bader, and all of the staff who helped me this weekend. I was camping over 3.5 hours from home, and my dog wasn’t doing well. I tried getting into several places on Saturday, and everyone was full. Family Pet took my baby in, and we’re very helpful and accommodating. The vet tech was wonderful! Both the vet tech and Dr. Bader made me feel like they took my concerns seriously. I did not take the news of his diagnosis well, and every person from the vet to the receptionist was so helpful and supportive. Dr. Bader made sure I had a driver to safely take me to Sioux Falls, and the people up front helped me with directions.They helped save my baby’s life, and I will truly be grateful for them seeing us last minute on a Saturday when I wasn’t even a regular patient. I wish I could do more to thank everyone. ❤️

My 7 year old orange cat went in for a dental visit. Family Pet was very pleasant and answered all the questions I had before and after the procedure. It’s not everyday that the family pet has to have a procedure while under anesthesia. I was a little nervous, but was calmed to find out that he got to come home the same day.

Wonderful, comprehensive, quick check up on our dog that was hurt. They also order our special prescription cat food for us for easy pickup when we need it! Dr. Bader is great with our pets. All of the technicians and assistants have been kind and caring, as well.
