Employees need name tags and the black guy needs to pull his pants up nobody wants to see his underwear.i dont.like having to look through the store to find someone to check out

Store not clean, shelves unorganized, stock items taking up isle space through whole store, clearance corner a complete cluster of a mess.. stuff was just thrown around and on the floor plus another sale rack was blocking most of the items. The bbq items like lighter fluid are rite next to so many pillows on same shelfs, plus all the other towels, pillows, rugs, clothes near by is a setting for a fire disaster like they want the place to burn down and with all the stuff in the isles and sticking out from shelfs it's definitely a lawsuit waiting to happen when someone gets hurt. They did have multiple sales on many items for every day use and holiday items. Seen multiple items made in the USA that i wanted to get but just didn't have the need for them yet. Cashier didn't greet us or thank us for shopping there, he was silent except for telling us total. Was a paper on door to contact district manager on how to improve store. Their also hiring. The store felt a bit cluttered and very disorganized. If you can't tell the real pictures of inside this store have off-white/light tan dirty looking tiles on the floor and the outside looks ran down .

Went there this am to get my pets some food and I needed 20$ cash back so I can get gas. The cashier, (I did not catch her name bcuz of how how poorly dressed she was and her posture said I hate my life )was at the counter ,got mad and proceeded to lecture me for taking all her 5$..she was very rude and condescending. It's NOT my fault DG won't give them any money to put in their cash drawers. Don't take it out on the customers. If you provide a service but can't do it, then don't offer it. And if you suck at your job, go stand on the street corner and suck all you want.

Always the go to place for my daughter and I, to grab her beauty wipes and some light groceries. The manager is always friendly and good to us. Great place for just some Knick knack and quick snacks.

Today I went to location to get a pop for my son who was crying and screaming his head off because the food I had just gotten him was to hot so he needed to cool his mouth off. I knew they closed at 9pm but when he was having his episode they were literally just a turn away. I get to the door and try to open it and they are locked. I looked at my phone and it was 8:58pm, 2 minutes before they are posted to close. I knock on the glass until one of the people working notices me and she just shakes her head. I look at my phone again and tell her I just need to by a pop quick for my son and it's just a minute before close. She shakes her head again. So I told my son come on let's go. I didn't see her name tag but she then pops her head out and asked what pop I was gonna buy. I told her Sprite. She then tells me that the women, the last guest, at the register is going to purchase the pop for me and that I need to understand that they have rules and regulations they need to follow. I've worked in retail before as a manager at dollar tree and I know that there are times you lock the doors early but if a guest comes to the door before the actual close time you get them in. Yes it's annoying and they could be lying but that doesn't mean you get to bend the rules. I could of said all this but I wasn't about to have an argument when my son is next to me afraid to close his mouth because it's hot. The lady that bought us the pop was very friendly and understood my situation. I thanked her and went on my way. I don't normally visit this location but now I'll make sure to avoid it from now on. I'll continue to just go to my normal one from now on.

I did come in about 20 min before closing time. Having worked retail I was hustling but it was taking me a bit of time to figure out my digital coupons. To hinder my process further there was a box of wrapping paper sticking out past the shelf, I clipped it with the cart and had to pick it up & try to fit it back on the overly congested shelf correctly. The cashier hollered out the store closes in 3 min. Her tone was snippy to put it mildly. So without grabbing the other 2 items I need I proceeded to the checkout. Same attitude from her, I noticed that I don't think my digital coupons were deducted. Without even really looking the cashier mumbled something about credits that were in store being removed. Not the same thing, I will Never shop here again. It is quite obvious to me that the two people working have very few customer service skills.

Dirty store. Little kids running around screaming while of duty supper employ visited with working store employ. Went out for smoke break leaving no employees in the store. I used to love this location. Not so much anymore.

Used to be a manager for dollar general. Very disappointed to see the manager at this store handle customer service horrible. Pretty sad!

This DG hasn't changed much over the years and I just like it. I always love the variety of things they carry. The staff is always nice, also.

Pretty nice and peaceful place, very cheap as the name implies, went there today driving my first car, was pretty sorted and bad everything I needed, the lady at the register was nice, and keeps a conversation up.

The people here work hard, but theft is a serious problem here. I've personally caught 2 people in the past couple of months. At the checkout, you may have to YELL! to get there attention as this store is typically short staffed....in my opinion.

Very friendly staff but the store was a complete mess having to walk over stock to get to one area tripping over a pile of clothes. 3 stars because the staff is friendly and helpful.

Any other Dollar General I've went to here in Sioux City the people who worked there were rude EXCEPT for this one They are very friendly and actually know where thinfs r at UNLIKE FAMILY DOLLAR OR ANYONE FOR THAT MATTER!

The cashier we had was kinda rude but everything else was good
