We have had our puppy for about 4 weeks now, and I am amazed at our puppy’s personality. He is a TeddyBear puppy, and he is absolutely perfect for our 4 children at home (not to mention that I often have many more children in our house during the day). He is incredibly chill, and he plays with the kids so well. He’s also very smart - I expected potty training to be a nightmare, but he caught on so well. It was breeze! One final thing, I’m not a huge dog lover (I got this puppy for my husband and kids); this puppy has the best personality I could have asked for! He doesn’t bark, and he is such an easy-going dog. I highly recommend Koedam Kennels! The service was great and they raise the best dogs!

These pics should speak for how we feel about Wanda and Koedam Kennels! We've had our sweet little Rusty for 2 1/2 weeks and love him to pieces. He's brought such joy into our lives. He took to us quickly and we to him! He arrived in our arms freshly bathed and full of fun - an adorable, healthy little guy. Wanda was wonderful to deal with and we had great communication. I'm tempted to get another one from her but this little guy is keeping me hopping! I think you can't go wrong with Koedam Kennels. They lived up to all expectations. Thank you Wanda and crew!

Updated: We love our precious shorkie Finn! The vet says he is a very healthy puppy. Finn has the kindest soul and is a very joyful and happy puppy. After just a week, he's added so much love into our home. We are excited to have him as part of our family. Allen & Wanda were great to work with. If you are looking for a new puppy I would highly recommend speaking with Koedam KennelsFinn was so sweet we went back a few weeks later and brought home his brother, Auggie. They are such good pups and the vet says Auggie is very healthy as well. Thanks Koedam Kennels for our two fur babies! We love them so much!

We just picked up our two adorable Teddybears yesterday. The puppies were beautiful and well cared for. Very thorough care tips and advice were provided along with current immunization records. I would highly recommend getting your designer breed or purebred puppies here. I have already told family and friends. 100% satisfied customer. We absolutely had an amazing experience with our puppy Winston! After we bought our Teddy Bear and had such a great experience our daughter and my mom both made their own long haul drive just to buy a Koedam puppy! I'll never forget Allen telling my puppy as we walked out the door to "have a good life". I often think of that and want Allen to know Winston is living his BEST life. Thank you for all you do!

We got this perfect little addition to our family in May 2021 and had the best experience! Flew from Atlanta to Sioux Falls, SD then over to Iowa to get our precious furbaby! Oh My Heavens! Koedam Kennels is heaven on earth. First impression clean and orderly, pristine environment.Wanda and Allen’s care for these dogs is beyond amazing. They keep the dogs for ten weeks and will not let them go until they are ready. Their care for these pups is exceptional; every detail in feeding and caring with top of the line vaccinations and food and love.Allen and Wanda are in the kennels with them daily and show them the most tender loving affection and their attention to their health and survival is unmatched.They are top of the line Breeders and so kind and knowledgeable. Kodeam Kennels is a puppy mill. I recently adopted a four year old dog who was from this operation.My sweet angel has severe anxiety and behavior issues after being in this situation. When she got to me, she was scared to use the bathroom and would soil herself and throw the feces. This is not normal behavior. If you buy a pet from here, you are support the mistreatment of animals. There is a very dark side behind the photos they are show on their website / facebook.This operation needs to be shut down.

I had a wonderful experience working with Wanda throughout the process of getting a Shorkie for my Granddaughter almost a year ago! This is the place to adopt a loveable puppy. My friend and I both adopted puppies and we couldn't be happier. Wanda was very responsive to questions and very professional. ... A few days after talking to Wanda from Koedam Kennels, I drove down from South Dakota with my 11 year old daughter. Wanda was accommodating bringing about 5 different Maltese-poodles out for her.She had fun vibing with each of them.(side note )She had her heart set on getting a '"little miniature white fluffy teddy bear puppy'" for Christmas. I was informed during the car ride that the new puppy's name is going to be either....Sophie or FrenchFry... I won't know until meet her though.My kids will always remember Christmas 2019 -as the day Sophie joined our home. They were so freaking happy. Their new little baby Sophie, their little sister. ...Xmas toy... Puppy.. dogI won't forget either. CAN'T REALLY. It took less than 72 hours before it dawned on me. I GOT MYSELF A DOG. I got my Jacob here 17 years ago ! He was a Maltese who was the best dog anyone could ever ask for! These dogs are very well taken care and have excellent temperaments I believe they breed all their dogs this way they have to be open over 17 years and for people to call them a puppy mill kills me. My Jacob never had any health problems no expensive health bills and ever just the usual annual stuff and died of old age how many people can say they had a healthy dog for 17 years not many! Thanks Wanda and Allen. I wish that you guys would give me a male Maltese that you are done breeding so I could give him a good home.

Koedam Kennels is a fantastic place to get a puppy!! Wanda was so helpful and kind, and it definitely shows how much she loves and cares for each one of her puppies. And she went above and beyond to help get my Teddy Bear to me when airlines stopped flying animals due to Covid. I can’t thank her enough for that. Our Teddy Bear arrived very happy and healthy, and she has brought so much joy to us!! I would highly recommend this extremely caring and ethical breeder.

I purchased a yorkiepoo puppy from Wanda last year. She is a very ethical, extremely responsible breeder. I requested pictures every 2 weeks on a Tuesday as was instructed and always received my pictures the next day. My puppy was shipped to Boston, which I was nervous about but he arrived safe and well looked after. He's been a very healthy, playful and social pup who loves other dogs and all people. My vet said she could tell he came from a great breeder. If I decide to get another puppy in the future I would without question go back to Koedam Kennels.

We had a great experience working with Wanda! During the weeks between our deposit and pick up, we always got pictures when we followed the procedure for requesting them. Wanda was also very responsive to any text messages I sent during our wait. When we picked up the puppy, Wanda was very helpful with all of our questions. I also sent a couple texts after pick up with questions, and Wanda was again very helpful. The puppy saw our vet and is healthy and happy. 😁 I would definitely recommend Koedam Kennels.

This was a nightmare to deal with. Contacted Wanda about Cloud Female. She said I could come see it. Then told me someone else is coming and she would call if it didn’t sell. Ok. Contact her next day saying “Can we just come look at what’s available?” Response was “pick just a few, I can’t show you every Teddy Bear available.“ And come to find out, Cloud was still available. Great. Schedule appt to see Cloud and a few others for the next morning at 10am. Half hour later I get a phone call asking if I want to pay credit card for Cloud over the phone as someone is coming later that day. No I want to see the puppy before I pay. Seemed very pushy for me to pay for her. Get a text later that night saying I need to pick a new time as someone else is now coming at 11am…. But my appt is at 10am.Just very unorganized and pushy. Seems more like a puppy mill as there is over 50 puppies listed on the website. Owners don’t care who gets what puppy and I would bet money that they are not taking time to spend quality time with dogs, let them outside to play, or start training them.We actually found another breeder in the area that has Teddy Bear puppy’s and we adopted one last night. This puppy is pretty much potty trained at 9 weeks old. Very healthy weight. And only cost me about $150 more than Koedam’s puppy would have cost. But the other breeder only takes on 1 litter at a time so you know it’s coming from a wonderful place instead of a puppy mill who is only interested in making money. Too many red flags.Why delete pictures of past litters of FB page? I wanted to see how often Cloud is bred but nope, all pictures have been deleted except for the past month. Wonder why? Over breeding the moms and trying to hide it?

This is a horrible puppy mill where they breed tons of dogs. The dogs don’t even see outside- they’re never let out. They live in cages. We got our baby here and the smell was horrendous when we pulled up outside in the middle of February. My heart breaks for every dog that suffers every day at this horrible operation. Unfortunately Iowa law enforcement won’t do anything. If you have a heart and care for the parent dogs of all these puppies, please don’t buy one of their puppies. It’s a puppy mill that needs to be shut down.Shame on you Wanda.

Wanda is so helpful with any questions you may have and she is wonderful about sending pictures and videos while you are waiting for your puppy. Allen is very thorough in giving you all information and records when you pick up your puppy. Both Alan and Wanda take such great care in the health and well-being of their dogs. Koedem Kennels is fabulous to work with! They sent us updated pictures when requested and patiently answered all our “first time dog owner” questions. Our 14 week old named Huxley is the best dog. 5 years ago I reached out to Wanda about getting a dog. My experience with her was exceptional! She showed me how the puppies were every week, and told me about their personalities as well as vaccinations they have had. She worked with me as I lived in Alaska at the time. I’ve had my best friend, Hooper, for 5 years now, and he is the bet gift! Wanda and her team are so wonderful, and I know all of the puppies there are treated with love and respect right up until they enter your home.
