this place tries to be fancy with decent looking food and high prices dont fall for it. I ate here several times on my stay. None of the food was good. all the staff seemed untrained. ate in one time service was so bad I just took my food to go after that my drink was empty most of the time. when they did bring the food, I just sat it on the table and didn't ask if I needed anything else. when I went to get food to go, I had to remind them that silverware is needed for the Togo orders. the fish sandwich looked good, then just had a burnt taste with a mushy fish with no flavor at all. the pasta was horrible and dry. I just ended up throwing it away. small pieces of chicken with huge spaghetti noodles that overpower the little bit of sauce that was actually added into it. the donuts look fancy, but they are no better than a gas station donut extremely hard.

We have stayed several times and eat @ 22 & Vine every time. I love the Chicken Caprese, my husband loves the Potato soup and we always get a Zephyr to share. Our waitress Diana (#10018) was amazing and friendly. Our conversation started with my husband doing chemo and ended with finding out she had lost her son to cancer. She told us we needed to try the ice cream...oh my...so smooth and creamy. Needless to say she and I had tears 😢 before we left. Everyone has always been great and it is always very clean. I would highly recommend 22 & Vine for an enjoyable meal.

I have been all over the Midwest visiting Casinos for 35 years. (St Louis mainly) There isn't one Casino that I have visited that remotely comes close to your quality of Food and Service. I grew up in the food industry flipping burgers at the age of 12 and selling food to places like yours for 15+ years and I have owned my own Restaurant as well. The PASSION you show really makes a huge difference in my visits to your Restaurant. I could seriously go on and on about your Passion for making your place a GREAT place to eat and visit.

Worst service ever.. its a wine place and they don't even keep it in the area - your glass of wine comes at sametime as your food. Im also still waiting at the table to pay at this very moment while the rest of my party has left because I feel they shouldn't have to sit here as long. Where is the help? Where are the managers? Ridiculous!!Food was good.

A rather solid restaurant that can push out good quality food at quick times and a reasonable price but unfortunately for the hard working kitchen staff their front of house is some of the most incompetent front of house ive ever seen, Riverside Casino itself is such an enjoyable experience wether its the golf course, the restaurants, or the Casino itself but its held back by its inability to promote or hire valuable workers, which could be a factor in its location being so remote. Absolutely abysmal front of house service.

Always a great experience at 22nd & Vine! It’s one of my husband and I’s favorite places and we eat there at least once per week ;) great food that doesn’t compare around the area!One thing I would suggest is to change the way to pay - the register can get very backed up with people waiting in line to pay, picking up/ordering to go orders and coming to get baked goods.Other than that - no complaints!

I would love to share a picture. First off, get more waitstaff! One waitress for 10+ tables just isnt enough. I could tell just by looking around, many waiting for whatever reason.Secondly, suggestion that kitchen staff should know their food options and what they are vs what they are not.Ordered SOURDOUGH bread, NOT plain white bread with my breakfast. We've ordered it numerous times and never had an issue. Waitress, bless her pea pickin heart, tried telling us that the plain white bread is actual sourdough and that the sourdough is the white bread. Not gonna sit there and give the waitress a baking lesson, but coming from someone who baked bread at a bakery for 7 years, I know the difference between sourdough and white, or white and wheat, or rye and pumpernickel. Does your kitchen staff know the difference? Obviously not.Menu is basic. Used to have alot more choices, especially for breakfast - which is greatly missed.With coffee choices - asked for an americano, and girl didnt even know difference between that and latte. Please do yourselves a favor, and hire people that actually know the food/drink choices, that or offer training on it. Smh..

Our first time there and the waitresss didn't want to seat us, my ten yr old son was the one who wanted to eat there. My ten yr old son felt unwanted and unwelcome by the young girls there. Thanks for the memory for him.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all

A diamond in the rough. We came in after gambling with meh expectations. A cafe, attached to a casino out in the middle of Iowa... Boy were we blown away. She had a cheeseburger and I had a club and they were fantastic. Every ingredient was crisp and fresh and the plating was great. Also, the service was exceptional- and the staff was attentive, prompt, and very polite. Such a surprise in just a small cafe- we're making a special trip out here just for this place. 10/10, would monch again.

Close to closing and people were still coming to get some delicious food. Baked goods are amazing by the way. The staff was treating everyone like they were special even though I am sure they just wanted to start cleaning up so they could go home. The food came out fast and hot as if I was I was eating at the restaurant. Top quality for sure. Great job 22& Vine!

The service was the worst! I order 3 things as is off the menu. I was asked to repeat the same 3 items at least 4 times...I get asking to repeat, but at least 4 times!! The poutine fries are amazing. The loaded baked potato soup was old. The Lemon berry mascarpone cake is good. I know good help is harder than ever to find, so thankfully the food helped make up for it.

When you find a hair in your food and it is approximately 18 inches long you would expect your meal would be taken off the bill. But no will take only $7 off. What the heck. We spent a lot of money to eat hair. Bad serve from the waiter had to keep asking him to bring things we all ready asked for. Asked for ice tea no lemon. We got lemon 🍋. Just like our experience soar to the core.

They have cold cut meats and cheese sandwiches. I bought one and took it up to my hotel room. The bread was so stale and dry that I could not eat it. I ate some of the meat inside and threw the rest away. The next morning I told them about it. They were nice about it, but the manager I spoke with just laughed at me when I said he should refund the cost or give me a new sandwich. Originally I had just gone down there to let them know that they need to toss out the old sandwiches instead of selling them. I had already filled out the comment survey. One of the nice ladies mentioned that maybe a manager could refund or give me a new sandwich since they are expensive sandwiches. So I decided to see if the manager would help. At the least I could make them aware that they are selling stale sandwiches. I was amazed that he was not the least bit apologetic and instead laughed at me. This is the first time I have had to deal with the management at the Riverside Casino. Very rude.

Got there at 7pm and was waited on right away and our waitress took our soda order. We got the sodas fast and then had to ask for straws we finally got them after our food was brought to us by someone else. Never once did we see our waitress and never was asked if we wanted refills on our drinks. And then didnt see our waitress till we were done eating and then she just said I'll bring your check. That took another 5 minutes because she was talking and laughing with the other waitresses. But the food was good. And also our waitress didnt know the menu. My wife asked if there was lettuce on the burger and she told her no and there was 2 big pieces on her burger. Finally got out 45 minutes later. So no not going back again.
