Great store and most of the staff is wonderful especially the butcher! That being said I can’t ever seem to get anyone to make fried chicken in the evening for dinner, I have called on my way home from work and they said I should try calling before 4- I don’t get off til 5 and home til almost 6 I don’t want my chicken sitting for 2 hrs waiting for me- I was getting off work early one day and attempted to call in before 4 and was told “sorry we stopped serving chicken for the day- today Sunday: called at 3 to get some chicken for dinner time- again was told they stopped making chicken for the day 2 hours ago…. I guess if I want fried chicken I’ll have to get it in Waterloo or plan to have it for lunch

Was visiting from out of town and got stuck couldn't get a flight out! While in this town I walked to this grocery store! The staff was just amazingly helpful i was learning to cook steak and chicken! The meat market guy Brandt was so helpful and full of tips and helped me pick out the good meat. The cashier was so helpful and very kind. Very clean store.

I work as an agronomist in Eastern Iowa. I planned a field tour on a Thursday and a local clued me into this place as an option for some food for lunch for our tour attendees. Bless the fellow named Brett, who was able to work with our crazy schedule to meet us out at a field site with our (hot!) food on time and with everything we needed to eat it. Not only that, but good LORD that lunch special was huge! No one was left hungry and it was absolutely delicious. A perfect lunch after a morning spent walking through fields in the Iowa summer heat. Thanks Truncks Foods - I will definitely be working with y'all again when I'm in the area!

Our grocery store is great. Very clean. The people who work at Trunck's are very friendly and helpful. Trunck's have a very good meat country. Darran and Sue have a great store for our town.

Trunck's is a tremendous service for our community! We enjoy the convenience of a local grocery store, and the folks who own and are employed at Trunck's are simply nice people. They return a good percentage of their sales to the local community, too, and even allow each customer to specify where proceeds from their sale will go. Thanks, Trunck's, for being here, and for your help to our family and church!

This store is always kept cleaned and I always see the workers hard at work; whether it is stocking shelves, assisting with getting a customer’s items rang up, or helping a customer find an item; they’re on it!

Good selection and its local in a small town. However, Ive seen ownership get angry at customers for multiple reasons. Never yell at customers.ya it was the owner!
