They routinely upcharge for things that come standard with that combo or option. They only carry one diet drink option. They often add meat to vegetarian choices. It's an okay choice if you're not picky about the specifics or on a tight budget.Vegetarian options: They supposedly have vegetarian options but they do regularly say they're out of black beans and potatoes, and will often add meat randomly to items that don't come with meat standard. Can get vegetarian options 50/50 shotDietary restrictions: Only carry one diet drink option, so hope you like diet pepsi. They also don't always follow or pay attention to swap requests, such as subbing in beans or potatoes for meat, or swapping meat choice, or removing toppings

No exaggeration - this is the worst fast food location I have ever been to in my life. I consistently have had to wait a minimum of 20-30+ minutes every time I try to get food here but after tonight I give up - this last visit was over half an hour of me standing around waiting for my order to be filled at 6:30 at night as the only person inside during prime dinner time, and only ordering a chalupa box to-go. I just wanted some tacos but I can go to the store, buy ingredients, and make them myself faster than this location can.

This is without a doubt the worst fast food restaurant I have ever been to. I think their success rate on correct orders is sub 10% and their average drive though completion time is 30+ minutes. It's a taco bell/kfc so the food is already not great but when you spend 45 minutes for your order to be totally wrong it amazes me that this place manages to not burn down with the level of incompetence that must go into running it.

We got before there in the nick of time. We walked in. Worker say we close in 5 minutes but iI can take your order. Took our order, waited a few minutes, watching them work as a team. When we walked out after we got our food,Wow, it was right on 5 minutes. Talk about fast food, that was lightening fast. Food was great, everything was perfect. Service with a smile even to the last customer, i call that professional 👍

Ordered 3 hard tacos, got 3 soft tacos. Sat in line so long they were cold. Took them home and grilled them into hard shell tacos. Cashier pleasant enough. Sign is so hard to read since the print is tiny. Someone behind me got bored and left the line. Didn't seem to not have enough employees since there were two at the drive thru. Not sure what the problem is. 🤔

ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE IF IT'S TO GO! We ordered a 16 piece extra crispy meal with 4 sides 2 mashpotatoes and gravy,1 coleslaw and 1 macaroni to go. I checked it as we were pulling out of the driveway to find they didn't give me either one of the potatoes and gravy. We had to turn around and go back in and tell them I didn't get either one of the potatoes and gravy they did get it them to me. I was so glad I checked before as I wouldn't have been to thrilled to have discovered that when we got home 45 minutes later. The food was good, I would just hate for someone to order something to go get all the way home and have to țurn around and go back.

Today the guy working decided to take his dislike for the job out on us. Common phrases used by him include what do you want, is that it (repeatedly).He did spice things up with eye rolling every time I spoke a well as loudly sighing.Thankfully instead of what I ordered he gave me what he thought I should have. Refusal to add onions to the meals or let me make any modifications was also greatly appreciated.The best part is we only got 2/3s of what we paid for.I would not recommend this place when that man is working or in general because other workers heard this and no one did anything to help. I can't believe this place gets any business. If i lived closer I would go back in and get the multiple items we paid for but he refused to give us. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. Bunch of thieves.

I know most fast food places are short handed which can make workers edgy. Where I work is short staffed as well and it’s stressful. Tonight though was the worse I’ve seen the Red Oak Taco Bell staff attitudes. I waited to be acknowledged when I pulled up to the speaker and seen the line so figured it would take a minute or two. When two cars got their food and pulled off I said hello into the speaker. After a couple minutes he took my order and those were the last words spoken to me. My total wasn’t repeated at the window when I paid. No your food, no other word was spoken or eye contact. Good thing I was paying attention or I would have worn my drinks, he didn’t even look at me while handing me my items.**I got to work and tried to eat the food I bought, I took a few bites of the Mexican pizza which I wanted so bad ended up tasting like a dirty dish cloth. How? I end up throwing it away. The burrito wasn’t much better. A lot of money went into the trash.

Beyond ridiculous. Ordered 6 biscuits, and instead of offering money back (because they Cottle not fill the order as they only HAD 4 biscuits), they threw 4 pre-packaged, absolutely disgusting "cookies" into the bag, telling me that was the best they could do, after making me sit there already 15 minutes waiting. Told me it would be another 15 for another batch of biscuits, but could not offer my money back (although I paid IN cash). 🤔Either they are not well-trained, not well-educated, or this particular store simply does not care one whit about its customers. Read the rest of the reviews, folks.This location is notoriously slow, rude, and they WILL mess up orders, so please check yours b4 leaving.

Order extra cheese, get charged for the extra condiment and get even less than the regular amount. What is that? How does that make sense? The service here is questionable at best but it's getting beyond horrible. Management here needs a reality check about how restaurants actually work outside of tiny towns.

Husband drove 20 miles to and 20 miles from to get tacobell and kfc. 40 miles to get this food. He went inside to order food since there drive thru is always so long. Recieved extremly rude service and forgot a few things that were ordered. After waiting patiently for some one to take his order he was told they were busy with drive thru orders and he was gonna have to wait even longer. Asked a question and got his head ripped off because this lady was frantic. This was our 3rd attemp to give this location a shot we will no longer be going out of our way to get kfc/taco bell from this location. Yall need to learn better customer service and the right way to treat people in general.

Taco bell is Taco bell. This particular one is fine, so 5 stars for the individual business (though the dining room is still closed because of staff issues), just not a fan of Taco bell's food in general. I find it too greasy, but my brother loves it. They got the order correct, staff was polite, and we had no issues.

We ordered at the drive thru. Service at the speaker was good, as was service at the window. However, our actual wait time in the line was 30 minutes. We were on what turned into an 11 hour drive, so the excessive wait wasn't appreciated.

I asked for no lettuce on all my items and repeated this twice. I got home and lettuce was on every item! I also asked for several packages of mild sauce and only received 4. I spent over $16.00 on this order and was quite disappointed.

In the 4 years I've lived in Red Oak, IA, I have only ordered from here 5 times. 4 were from the Taco Bell side and once from KFC. Each time my order was not filled correctly. The error was always less than the total bill I paid. Each time I complained, was told it was MY error not theirs. This is the only place I ask for a receipt. Receipt ALWAYS matches my order but not what I actually get. Each time was accused of trying to get free food. I just wanted what I paid for. Last time, I was there 15 minutes before 10 pm....no cars in front of me....no cars behind me.....Waited 25 minutes at the drive thru window for yet another incorrect order.

Oh this was awful today. Slow day, not many people but it still took 3 tries to get a 5 layer burrito with no sour cream. 3 tries. There is no excuse for service that bad, the first time it was covered in sour cream, the 2nd time it all just fell apart in my lap and the 3rd time I had to go talk to the manager to get it fixed. Don't come here if you expect anything to go well.
