I usually stop at the Ace Hardware Store in Perry when I drive there 1x a week to swim at McCreary Rec Center. It seems that Daniel is usually there and always, always so very helpful. He extends customer service by kindly offering to help me find the items on my list, offering to help load my items if they are large and cumbersome. He does all of this with a smile. Everyone at this store has been so helpful. I appreciate it greatly. It is refreshing. I laugh when I drive home because the jingle... "Ace is the place of the helpful hardware man..." I think that's how it goes, but the women are equally as courteous and helpful!😁

I called Harlands Ace Hardware looking for a product that had a insecticide, fungicide in it for my rose tree, and the guy in the phone knew exactly what I needed and told me the 4 different options they had available, he was very knowledgeable and very efficient and kind.

Great place to get all your house hold objects. Clean and friendly. Everything was well placed and the prices are marked very clearly. The store is laid out in a way that you can actually find things with out wondering around. They do glass and acrylic which is nice. Also fix screens and glass windows.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The only thing is their signage. The store name is only written in small letters in their front door so it's hard to find them if you don't know they are there.

We were greeted as we entered the store, by the cashier, & offered assistance. My friend asked to buy a gift card, & since she didn't have a rewards card, the cashier was able to put the transaction on my rewards card, after I asked if that could be done. My friend was given a form to apply for a rewards card, & we were wlshed to have a good day, as we were leaving.

When I need special bolts or whatnot this is my go- to place. They had metric M3 .50 pitch machine screws right in stock. Helped me fix an item where those screws were broken and saved me a trip into the big city.My only complaint is that the staff are sometimes too helpful. Sometimes I just want to browse without being repeatedly asked if I need any help. On my last visit, I let one of the staff know that I didn't need help and within two minutes I was asked again by the same person. Its nice to have that option available if you want it but there should be a way to opt out. A wrist band perhaps?

Ace is the place!! Definitely my favorite Ace store. Excellent staff very friendly and helpful and can help you find what ever you're looking for. Honestly I would rate them more than 5 stars!

They have an extensive selection of fasteners which I appreciate. I've also had excellent luck in finding black pipe fittings there as well. Staff is friendly and helpful.
